Scene Kids here in California are not uncommon, my friends are scene and I am Indie. My friends beg me to where skinny jeans and such, but I refuse to go to the dark side. I just don't think scene is a good influence, there were tons of fights at the last brokeNCYDE concert. And I did not think such fashions can have influences on behavior.

I dunno, I think if you're comfortable wearing something it's nobody's business but yours. No need to attach a stigma, right?

I don't think it really matters how someone dresses; I won't judge someone just because they dress "scene", or any other style. What annoys me, though, is how a lot of people decide to change their whole personality to fit a stereotype, whether it's scene or something else, and change all their hobbies and what they like just to seem cool, or unique. It doesn't make you unique at all; it just makes you exactly like a different group of people.
