no. the current status where you tell what your doing at the moment.

It's quite simple.

Go to the My Gaia tab. To the left, you'll see your avatar, your home, your car, etc. Below that, there's something that reads "Status." Right below that, you'll see your avatar with a little speech bubble to its right; hit "edit" to update your status, or "clear" to erase it and change it completely. You'll notice your friends' most recent status changes beneath that, as well.
