cartoon network asked the brother chaps if they wanted a TV show about homestarrunner, but they said they would stay true to the web. eek

I did not know that. It's probably for the best that they declined. I'm worried that Cartoon Network would have tried to change things.

I agree with Soultrain. Also, a TV series is MUCH more work than maintaining a web site. I think it's best they stick to WOM. (word of mouth) Also, since it's on a web site, it's more interactive than if it was on TV.

I'm pretty sure this is what really happened (from what I found out on HRWiki) Matt and Mike went to Cartoon Network with the idea of Homestar Runner before it was popular on the Internet but then they got turned down.
