I grew up drinking diet caffeine-free Pepsi, and regular Coke always seemed sweeter. I like both, though I prefer Dr. Pepper or Root beer than the two.

I don't drink either one really, but if Coke and Pepsi were the only soda options available for me, I would go with Coca Cola. I've never been fond of the flavor of Pepsi.

we have moved around some over the years, and i have noticed something about these soft drinks:
the flavor changes depending on where you buy it.
for instance, Coke in Canada is to die for, i love it.
i used to prefer it back home, but not so much.
yet since we moved to upstate NY it tastes salty! it's a different plant that makes it here, and maybe they add some kind of preservative? i dunno.
but now, i drink Pepsi Max.

I gave up soda about a year ago and am trying to keep up the habit ...
But I gotta tell you, I see root beer or dr. pepper and the vow goes on hold.

I grew up with diet coke because my mom drank it, but I never really liked it. My dad preferred Dr. Pepper, but I wasn't crazy over that either. When I was little and through my teens I preferred cream soda and root beer by A&W. But now in college I'm finally getting into pepsi cause it's the cheapest bottle of pop where I live. And it tastes sooooo much better than coke.
