How do you take screen shots? :3 (A)

Hello! Can someone help me on taking screen shots? I donno how you do that. .-. on my laptop, widows vista, it has the print screen button but there is home on top of it. like on a button, there's two things on it. I tried putting shift+home/print screen but it just wont work. Help pwease?

Are you attempting to paste it into a paint program ?

Also, I think you might be new so I will go ahead and let you know that when you have a question or need assistance you should post in the questions and assistance subforum.
