Equipping multiple pieces of one equippable item (A)

Okay, so this is going to make me sound foolish. Heck I feel foolish for asking, but I'm desperate to know.

So I've seen many, many gorgeous avi's around the site that obviously have multiple items on that come from one equippable item. Basically items like ei's and so forth. How do I do that? I need to know. I have several items like that and I want to be able to wear multiple aspects of what they offer.

Is this possible?

One item for one unique pose, sadly (^_^''')
Which means, if you liked several poses from a certain item, say for example an EI, you'll have to get several amounts of that EI to equip to your avvy.

So if I like the gloves and the hat (or whatever) from Kotteh Bell (forgive my random spelling, not really all too worried 'bout it at the moment) I have to own 2 of them?

Oh that's righteously not cool in my book.

I will throw on another bit of information. I currently only own one Reve Rouille but it looks like I have three equipped. Several Evolving items have glitches that, if you have it equipped when it evolves, allow you to use a new pose without unequipping an old one. Sort of like you can add on as it evolves. But once you un-equip it, either on purpose, or by trying to equip a different item in the same spot, you loose that ability. I've had my 1st Genn Reve equipped since the 2nd evolution.
