With the whole vampire craze going on I noticed somethings and thought it help people tpo see the similarities within the two.

1. Both are part of the living dead.
2. They are afraid of the light and cannot live in it.
3. They are constantly thristy.
4. They must fulfull this thrist though other things and people.
5. They love worldly things.
6. They are inwardly tortured.
7. They blaime God for things.

1. Sunlight affects them slightly, it can give them up to second degree burns

2. They like Mtn Dew.

3. They prefer fresh MEAT rather than blood

4. they never sleep

5. they can run faster than cars

6. they are musically talented

7. And they don't know what a werewolf is.

8. They don't like whats his name or Edward they give vamps a bad name.

Ahem,i'd like to state that alot of those facts are false,and they only drink blood when their own is near depleted,which is why the incisors {fangs} protract
and reveal themselves.Another thing,a cross doesn't harm a
vampire,all of these typical things are taken from old folk-lore
and mythology.Vampires can roam freely in the sun,these are
living beings,not demons we're talking about.I know my facts-
so you can't really go against me when it comes to things
involving mythology and the paranormal.And i know one of you
will dis-agree to what i say,and i'm sorry that you decided to
be the lies that are popular,instead of he lesser known truth.
In a wy,it is a lot like religion,people would much rather
believe a false religion,then the truth of Christ,Our Lord and Saviour.

I think the point gothic was trying to make was that you were a little of topic. Posting that you know a girl who thinks she's a vampire, and comparing characteristics of vampires in stories to characteristics of those who aren't saved, are a little different.

SO, I guess try to stay on topic if you can. If you want to create your own thread about this friend who thinks she's a vampire, you are more than welcome to. However, by posting something like this you could be detracting from the main intent of the thread, which is to discuss about how vampires in literature have similar characteristics to those of people who aren't saved by Christ.
