How to handle this...

How do you all handle when people critize you for being a Christian?? And, make fun of you for it??

I would try to engage them. Ask what they believe and why, then point out the holes in their beliefs which are actually quite obvious.

You could just ignore them. Get used to it, Christianity is probably the most attacked religion. But it is the most logical choice as well... Part of the quote from Men In Black applies here: "...people are stupid." The full quote is "A person is smart, people are stupid" But I've met some pretty stupid people...

Just stay strong in prayer and do you best to ignore the taunts.


Jesus was taunted and made fun of even on the cross. We can try to talk to people about their beliefs and such but if all they want to do is just make fun of it all and not hear it then what you can do is pray for those people. They need salvation even if they don't want to hear it. pray that their hearts could be softened so that one day they are able to hear the word of God and know it's the truth and the only way.

I end up befriending them and then adventually they become protective of me. It's happen so many times that I can't count them all.
