[PRP] Remembrance (Aren & Hymn)

It took him by surprise, if anything it left him completely speechless. Although his hands were unresponsive, they slowly gave in to his emotions and wrapped around the other. The figure that embraced him was much warmer than he had expected, and relaxing in to the other's arms, Hymn smiled. There hadn't been an opportunity in a while where he could allow himself the luxury of relaxing without feeling some form of uneasiness.

Even though, he was now unhappy with the situation, he felt comfortable letting his guard down around the old dust."You cannot go away Aren, I love you..." he mumbled. His eyes draped close and his body fell into the comfort of his friend. His muscles relaxed and the rapid heart beat steadied out just moments before his body allowed him to drift into a rest.

Hymn's breathing was faint and his skin warmer than normal as his body rested. He could do this, let his guard down, just once? For once he saw no problem with being weaker. If the other dust was going to leave, he could at least stay for the moment and let Hymn enjoy this time they had together.

When he woke up, he would have to apologize.

"You cannot go away Aren, I love you..."

Eyes widening, Aren's whole body tensed. Unsureness and nervousness came over him like the powerful waves that crashed on the sandy shores just inches away from the two. His heart raced as he heard those words that Hymn had muttered. Perhaps it was because he was in such a weak state he was saying these odd things! It must be that... because who in their right mind would love him? Hymn was most likely just drifting off to slumber, not knowing what he was saying. Yes, that must be it.

Despite these thoughts, Aren could not deny the fact that his face was growing warm and his heart was beating at such a dangerous speed. His throat constricted and he could not speak. He did not dare to move his tensed muscles, not knowing what would happen if he did move. It was as if he was frozen in his place, frozen in time while this dust was entwined in his arms.

He did not know what to do so he left it at that. He buried his face tinged with red on the teen's hair, breathing in deep and slow breaths. His heart, his mind, racing with thoughts. He did not understand what his heart was trying to say. But he did know that valued Hymn as a treasured friend right now. A dust that he knew he cared for and would never leave alone.

He left it at that for now.
