The sounds of giggles and general merriment of children buzzed in his ears as the wayward Teen made his way around the outskirts of the playground. It brought a small smile to his face to see the children play and laugh with each other; having a good time. For Ziya sometimes he wished he could go back into that point in time when he could get away with playing in the jungle gym. Then he would remember he hadn't done things like that in the first place since he was a dust, not a mere human child. In some of his lower points he hated being the way he was, something so abnormal as to not have the capability to have normal friends. Not saying his friends were normal, they were wonderful dusts really. But being a dust came with less desirable things as he could feel there was something bigger then him; bigger then his friends on the rise.

Kicking a stone with the toe of his sneaker, he continued to walk away from the merry scene and towards a more seclude area. He visited this spot a few times before on his own. It was an abandoned swing set and merry go round, each iron set covered in over grown grass, vines and rust. No one tended to it anymore as the forest and trees near it had grown so wild due to neglect that it became undesirable. Though to Ziya it was perfect for him to just sit there and watch the clouds go by.

Walking through the trees that separated the two areas, Ziya sighed softly and walked up to the old swing set just below the hill he was on. It was nestled quite nicely in a little grove of sorts, which was another one of its faults. Cause when it rained it tended to pool around and get a little swampy. However today it was clear skies and the breeze was soft and warm. Sitting down on one of the old creaky swings, he sat there and closed his eyes as he pushed himself a little with his feet, letting himself glide ever so gently.

Aren was attracted to the park by the usual cheerfulness it offered at a time like this. The mature dust actually liked to observe and watch humans, especially the little ones. He didn't do this often of course, he wouldn't risk himself to be uncovered by the humans and use part of his power to wipe their memories clean of him, it took a toll on him. But his arrival here was not mainly to watch the frolicking children playing in the green field but it was because he sensed another in this area and it was quite a strong power.

The dust glided through the crowd, careful not to bump any of the children who were running around and having their fun in this bright sunny day. His gray eyes scanned the area and finally landed on a figure of a boy, walking towards a lesser populated area of the park. The other had his back turn away from him hence he did not spot him as he followed where he went. The younger dust sat on an old swing, the color fading away with age, creaking as if to confirm it's age.

Aren made his way towards the other, a familiar feeling in the air enveloped him, a warm feeling. It must be the feeling of this other dust, one that Aren had seen grow up so well but within a distance. It was finally time to meet him once again, in a correct way. Maybe this time the other wouldn't forget him.

"Hello?" he started, not wanting to surprise the boy. His voice was soft.

An unusual but familiar feeling washed over the lightening teen, his feet digging into the earth to stop himself. He wasn't going very fast so the churning of the earth was very minimal, his heels bringing up the dirt and sand. The voice he had heard was so soft he could have missed it as the wind had spoken it. But to him it was more like a ghost speaking to him, as this voice struck such a cord in him that had his hands tightening on the chain links of the swing. Whispers of familiar feelings danced along the edge of his mind, his body desperately wanting to get up and flee. Hands tightened, a little spark crackled and licked the side of the metal; chipping some of the rust away in a moment of loss of self control.

Daring to turn around, Ziya looked over his shoulder, gray eyes guarded and uncertain. The figure behind him seemed very sagely, though hooded and hidden from his view. However he was still getting this familiar feeling, something from so long ago yet recent too. He stared at the other, his own gray hues shimmering in the sunlight, yellow black hair ruffling a little in the breeze. It was like trying to figure out a puzzle without all the pieces, his mind had more holes in it then swiss cheese at the moment and it was causing him some frustration.

“Hello....” Ziya replied finally, breaking the silence that had fallen heavy around them. His voice was kind yet guarded with uncertainty. Standing, he came to his full height and let go of the swing. Walking around the rusted old play set, his sneaker crunched down on the weeds peeking out in between the dirt and sand. Standing just a few steps from the other, he cocked his head to the side to take him in, getting the feeling of his own kind, dust, wash over him. He had never met one older then himself, though Hymn was older then him but this one seemed much more so.

“Have...... have we met before?” Ziya asked, trying to keep in mind the manners his guardian had hammered into his mind when he was a child. He'd already broken a few, as staring wasn't very polite but in this case h e wasn't sure if he should take his eyes off this one.

The wind passed by in a soft greeting, making the leaves sway into a dance as they hung freely from the branches. The soft breeze softly hit Aren's face, an uneasy expression peered out from under his hood. He did not know what to expect from the younger dust, yes he had met a few others before but re-meeting the other dusts whom he had seen since they were children was more difficult for him. He was more uneasy now among all the other meetings. Perhaps because of the nature of the other dust's essence which was much more striking than the others. Aren cursed his amplified sensitivity which caught every detail around him and transfered those feelings to him, making his emotions a storm within.

The younger dust stood up from the swing, not before giving out a spark that Aren had noticed. The older one sensed the confusion, it wasn't a new sight. He had many explanations to tell all the dusts.

The lightning dust had grown so much, he was most likely taller than Aren himself. When the dust spoke Aren took in the faimiliar voice, savoring it as a warm feeling enveloped him.

"We have, a few times before," he paused, his gray eyes shining. "But it isn't important, what is important is the present. My name is Aren, you are Ziya. We are dusts, part of a new race tasked with an incredible burden. But for now---" Aren looked up at the younger one's face, coming closer. He gave him a gentle smile, he couldn't contain his happiness at seeing the other, "It's very good to see you well."
