whenever i try to put something on market it doesn't work(A)

i tried 5 times to put something i got thts worth like 3000 on market place and i can't put it on it! it's frustrating! gonk

You should make sure you have the trading pass and have been on Gaia for longer than 3 days, as sdrawkcab said.
If you already do, I think they still have the 4 item cap, where you can only sell 4 items at a time in the marketplace?

There is currently a 10 item sell limit.

Is it an item purchased with cash?

If so, is it your first cash purchase?

Is the item locked? Make sure there isn't a gray lock icon on the item.

Is the item soulbound? Make sure there isn't a golden lock icon on the item.

Are you getting any sort of errors or messages when you try to create the listing? Any messages generated to you will help us determine the cause of the problem.

no i didn't even buy it... it was this prom dress thing from some advertisement on gaia and i don't even like it so i thought i could get the gold off of it
and it just says "OOPS you cannot put this item on market"?

It sounds like it's locked for some reason. Go into your inventory and make sure there's not a lock icon on it. Click the dress and it should tell you if it's locked/soulbound or if there's any other kind of freeze on it.
