...it seems that my vocabulary is being expanded quite a lot today. I hadn't known that, haha, so thank you for clearing it for me.
And... well, I'm aware that many people are offended by stereotypes, but I am of the mind that if it offends them... they should just not read it. It may sound pigheaded, but at the same time, why would one read (or watch, or whatever) something that clearly irks them? I do not intend to offend, though this is something that irks me, personally. This may sound like a bit of a stretch, but similar things happen very often in a popular webcomic/anime called Hetalia. If you're not familiar with it, it is basically a huge compilation of potentiall-offensive stereotypes for many countries, and each country is a personified stereotype. For example, America... is a loud-mouthed idiot who always proclaims himself 'the hero,' and everyone on his 'team' is his backup.
...I ramble too much, sorry about that. But I hope you can see that weird and somewhat obscure point. If not... uh... I'll try to explain it more clearly, but it seems I've had trouble with words this weekend, so it may not come so easily.
As for story....... there currently is no story. Leslie started off as a roleplay character, and actually was initially less stereotypical, but he's evolved a lot. So I'm trying to give him more of a... homeostasis of sorts. Something that I can use to write without blatantly using one of the roleplays I have placed him or some form of him into.
One of several things I've considered, though, to just... put more effort into his 'self,' is revamping a lot of what I have. I've considered taking the base--male, water nymph, and feminine--and then putting more "logical" reasoning in there through a tribe coming-of-age-ritual* (the magical sort) that messed up, but it just doesn't quite fit his personality. I don't want to change his personality too much, either, because then it wouldn't really feel like Leslie anymore.
I hope all of that wasn't too much to read... and that most of it, at least, made sense.
*This ritual thing involves magic and 'gender identity' and was never clearly thought out.

Lyvidian The only thing I find defensive is your comparison to the reason for someone being gay to the reason why people like chocolate. It doesn't make sense. People choose to like chocolate because the taste of it appeals to them. People don't choose to be gay/bi/lesbian, imo, they're born that way. Well, the way I was thinking of it was more like... Oh, I'm not certain how to put it that makes sense. The last statement I concur with, and I related it to chocolate because... there are some people who just don't like chocolate and never will. In my mind (it wasn't too clearly thought out, and I apologize for that), it's not really a choice if you like a food or don't. The food appeals to you or it doesn't, and whether you like it or not depends on this. So perhaps it would make more sense if I said it is like how chocolate appeals to some, but not others? Does that make more sense? Because, and I don't know about you, I don't really choose, per se, what food I like. I just like the food. If I could 'choose' a food to like, I might choose to like more healthy foods, like spinach, but I don't like spinach.

"If you find it offensive, don't read it" doesn't really work when we have to read it first before we know if it actually offensive or not. But beyond that, the issue I had was with what basically props up the marginalization of the gay community.
But I'm not going to get into that argument here. Gender theory isn't exactly something you can approach with random people.
I was just commenting on the character concept, which I found to be rather poor for certain reasons. Those reasons are kind of complex, and I certainly don't expect an RP character to tackle issues like that -- maybe if it was for a novel.

I can definitely see your point, and I probably should have thought some things through more. Thank you for your help! I don't really plan on making Leslie the star of a wonderful, beautiful novel, though I am thinking of exploring his character some more with the NaNoWriMo, and I'm looking for things I need to change.
I'm thinking, though, that he's better off as just a for-fun roleplay character, and I should find a less... controversial subject.

Like Dmitri or even my Letophian characters. I could try to write that book, finally, and if I like it... then I could run with it.
Maybe I should shove Dmitri up here to be picked on... but... at the same time... I love her too much. I'm almost scared to put her up here and hear about all her faults, ahaha.
