Coming up soon, i will post a tutorial on how to make Freaking awesome monster gloves for beginners. Sewing machine necessary =_=

SUPPLIES:

about 1/8 a yard of knit,your choice of color
fabric paint (white and black)
white felt
needle and thread
sewing machine
small piece of cardboard

first, trace your hand on a piece of knit folded in half

then, make a line where your knuckles are. sketch a half inch- an inch seam allowance.

cut. it should look like this.

Pin. Sew with a zigzag stitch. zigzag stitches help the fabric stretch.

the glove should look like this now.

to make teeth, measure the knuckle line on a piece of white felt.

draw jagged lines and cut it out.

Pin and sew teeth onto the top ... um, flap? *DO NOT SEW TEETH ON BOTH FLAPS*

Invert.

Hem the raw edge on the end of the glove.

Slot something inside the glove so the fabric paint doesnt bleed through.

Begin painting the whites of the eyes with fabric paint.

Paint the pupil with black fabric paint.

User Image

Dry overnight.

AND DONE biggrin Now, you can keep your.. um , palms.? warm haha
