Welcome to GAA
As the title hopefully suggests, this thread is devoted to tipping those with less talent on how to become elite artists.
Learn how to turn long-planned, time-consuming, and rough works into spontaneous, quick, and brilliant pieces of art!
Please post any advice you may have so it can be read and spread. ;D

My Advice:

1. Hang in there.
Never abandon a work unless it's needlessly consuming costly materials.
Stick with everything you can until the end so you can see all of your mistakes and watch out for them later.

2. Don't be afraid of failure.
A mistake is nothing but an opportunity for improvement. You can't get better unless you make mistakes, and you can't get worse unless you don't apply what you know.

3. Practice!
Make at least one piece of art every day. Practice allows you to see the mistakes you make while applying what you already know, opening the opportunity for improvement and eliminating the chance of your skills deteriorating.

4. Take your time.
Rushing yourself does nothing except hurt your art. While it is good to be able to work with speed, it will come with time.
Every artist should know that you can't rush perfection.

5. Stay where you want to be.
Your skill lies with your interests. This one may not apply as much after you become more talented, but start by practicing things that you like. It helps to keep you motivated and interested.

E t e r n a l ' s ❤ T i p s

1. Try something new.
Don't be afraid to try different things until you find what you truly love.
Anything is possible, your imagination is not the limit.

2. Don't compare yourself with others.
One piece of artwork is not better than the other.
Juxtaposing your talent with others will not make a difference.

3. Be inspired.
Look around you, ideas are everywhere.
Always think about what's around you, how they are made or how artistic they are.

4. Keep doing it.
Being an artist takes practice and time.
Follow your heart and continually take the time to do it each and everyday.

5. Dream big.
Your imagination is your greatest masterpiece.
Think about what you can do today, tomorrow- the future is shaped by you.
