If nothing else, help me pray.

I don't really know what's up. I'm just gunna guess that I might have a mild case of depression or something. All I know is that every day I have thoughts of...doing something that I could never come back from. There are certain personal reasons why I can't get help from a doctor or things like that, so I want to stick to prayers. But the thing is, I don't know what to pray. This is something I don't even really wanna talk about with God, even though I know that he knows about it. I guess I'm not specifically asking people to pray for me, but I would like to know exactly what to ask God for with this sort of prayer. I know I can't do it on my own and I really need His help now.

Just thought I'd through this out there; God gave us the knowledge of medicine and stuffs related to that. So it's okay to go see people that can help us :3

Well, prayer is just talking to God, start by talking to Him about what's going on. Or how you are feeling about it. Ask for His guidance and for His love. Be open and honest with Him. You can even tell Him that you don't know what to pray for but you know that He knows what you need. So you can pray that God would give you what you need.

Little things like that help a lot in my experience. It gets me talking to God and from there, God does His good work.
