I started this for a RP that I'm still apart of and since the literate level was between lit.-adv., I wanted to make sure that the post was nice enough to read. So, if you don't mind, can you read it and give me your honest response? It's pretty much my first shot at advance literature.

A young girl, no older than eighteen who had just finished celebrating her 18th birthday was now standing in front of a run down asylum, bags in hand. That girl was none other than Astra Halliway, news reporter for 'Carbury High School'. Being a senior was supposed to be the most epic adventure of a lifetime. Too bad Astra had to spend her time in some dump that was supposed to 'trat' her for whatever illness that she had. Who cares who this Dr. was anyways. He sounded like a nutjob for all she could care.
Then again whatever he was missing in brain power, he could always made it up in looks. Oh, who was she kidding? He was probably as ugly as a toad. Or perhaps worse. Just the thought of him gave Astra goosebumps and she wasn't even inside yet. Sighing, she pushed the hair out of her eyes. Her umberella was laying flat on the rocky road from taking too much damage from that dreaded storm.
Sneering, she picked it up trying to find a way to fix her poor thing. Yelping, she swiftly dropped it as a worm crawled around the edges. Just like any other girl, Astra was totally freaked out by worms. She absolutely could not stand for any type of bugs. Even ones with lady in their names. Her parents were nothing but bafoons if they thought that there was something really wrong with her. She was as normal as can be. Mood swings were normal for anyone who went to high school and started to feel stressed. Yet, her overprotective of a mother decided that an asylum was where she should be instead of school lending gossip to the school body. As a reporter, it was her job after all to give the best of information to the best of people. Besdies, who knows? This 'Plazzo Asylum' could be her breakout story. Everyone around the world could be reading about how she survived the craziness of a crazyhouse and how she took down one of the most insane doctors that ever took step on the earth.
Feeling satified, she smiled to herself before giving the gate a gentle push. She gasped slightly as the rust came onto her fingers. She was definatly going to have to complain about that later. Who left an asylum in this condition? of course people were bound to get crazy here. The gates looked like they haven't been touched in years and the outside didn't really help to change that fact. Astra could only guess what the inside looked like. Or the rooms for that matter. If only she could turn back. Spinning around quickly, her heart made a quick lept before dying down as soon as it happened. Her cab was already up the road so her changes of escaping were slim to none. Most likely the latter. Muttering nothing but trash under her breath, she proceed to go further against her better judgement. Just one look at the asylum and Astra already wished she was curled up in a nice warm bed with chocolate milk and those tiny little marshmellows.
She allowed a small smile to grace upon her lips before knocking gently on the doors. For a good five minutes, she stood outside tapping her heel against a crack in the cement. What if a human was buried under there? Astra could only shivered at the thought. These people needed help themselves. A cold gush of wind made Astra completely forget about her manners only to barge right into that creepy place. Something she regretted almost instanly. Every single pair of eyes were on her and as tough as she was, she couldn't help letting a blush grace upon her cheeks. What would her best friend think if she ever saw her life tihis? probably never let her live the moment down. Astra almost felt like bursting into tears at the thought of never being able to see her beloved best friend and boyfriend of ive years anymore. It was all becuase of that stupid doctor that her boyfriend rufused to talk to her anymore. Taking over her cellphone, she stood in a cornor hoping that he would pick up. Unfourtunaly it semmed like luck was jsut not on her side since it jsut kept ringing, each ring crushing her heart even more.
Maybe she needed to be here after all. In order to escape from anyone or anything that had tied her down. School, her parents, her boyfriend everything. She needed a break from it all. If only she had realized it sooner and didn't have to spend it in a crazy house. Atleast she was doing it for his sake. Walking up to the clerk, she looked at her up and down. Something about this woman seemed crazy. Actually everything about the woman seemed crazy. This entire place seemed crazy. It was going to be worth it. She was doing it for Jeffery and no one else could stop that. She just hoped that her love for him would be able to overcome anything.
Nodding her lady at the woman, she tapped her newly polished nails on the counter as the woman searched for her name. As they exchanged names, Astra sighed as the woman handed her a run down dress. God knows whose dirty butt was inside of this. Sneering, she thanked the woman as best as she could before taking a seat in the waiting room. Maybe she would be able to catch a glimpse at the Dr. Probably manage to jump him. Smirking, she tapped her foot on a broken tile trying to picture what they palce was like before it became so run down. If it was ever clean, that was.
