Does God Really Forgive Our Sins
The Bible says that we will have to answer for every sin we have committed on judgement day--thought, word, or deed. But it also says that if we confess our sins and ask forgiveness, He will remember our sins no more. Explain, please.

Both statements are factually accurate. As beings with free will, we are responsible for our actions, particularly in the case of our sins. Because God is willing to forgive us for our sins, however, the end result is simply that we are judged guilty, but that the price for our sins has already been paid. Or thereabouts.

Exactly, we're all going to be judged it just depends if our sentence was paid for or not. We're all guilty of sin!

Yeah, everybody sins, and everybody DOES have to answer for them at some point, but God's Grace means that they won't/can't Separate us from Him, after we've accepted his death on the Cross as the payment.

Once you're saved, you're saved, and nothing you do will keep God away from you forever. You might be punished for doing bad things, but no less is expected of any Father, for the sake of Discipline.

I was wondering the same thing!
So are we all automatically going to Heaven because we have become Christians?
Do I no longer have to worry? o_O

Nope. You have to confess your sins and be truly sorry, at least that's my opinion... I know tons of people who think that being 'Christian' means they have a 'get into heaven free' card.

Romans 10:9-13
King James Version (KJV)
9That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

10For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

11For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.

12For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.

13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
