I am a sinner... "1 John 1:8"
I would like to give God all praise, honor and glory for the work he has accomplished within my mind, body, and spirit.
Today while during Sunday school we stopped half way through our lesson to pray for those who are unbelievers and upon this the Lord put it on my heart to pray for the man who molested me when I was 8 years old. While praying for him out loud I was overcome by complete freedom and joy because God allowed me to fully and freely forgive that person! I feel so spiritually uplifted and free. In forgiving this person I was able to release so many years of shame and guilt over this situation and I am just in awe of God's AWESOME power!
I knew the enemy was so angry with this and he quickly went to task to draw me back in because on my drive home, per usual, I had to drive past this person's house and he was walking off the drive way onto the sidewalk to go some where and I felt the temptation to feel to bad, the nervousness, the hatred and angry but I didn't! I felt completely free from that wickedness of feeling and I felt compassion and pity for the man he had become. I know I will continue to pray openly for him to saved and that the Lord will continue to receive all glory and honor!
