The Forgotten: Under the Knife [Open and Accepting]

Lia ended up coming home the night before because her mother had asked her to come home to help her with something. That entire time after her mother's request until just before readying to go to the hospital, she was working on her mixtures with just a short break for sleep.

Rosa grimmaced as one of the care takers shoved a spoonfull of what she prayed was low quality rice pudding into her mouth, wincing as it hit the sensative nevre Kenneth had so kindly exposed to the elements. So far it had taken about half an hour for the weekend staff to force feed the small girl the wall paper pase like food, most of them not understanding the change in Rosa's normaly quite and obediant nature.

Rick yawned and pushed open the door to the abandoned medical unit, a hand sluggishly running through his hair as he took another large gulp of caffine from the paper cup held tightly in his other hand, his pervious lecture had stopped him from filing the data he had gathered on Gabby, meaning spending saturday stuck on his office with piles of paper threataning to crush him once more.

Who knows how long later, Gabby finally woke up. For a few moments, she couldn't figure out where she was, but then everything came flooding back. A few tears leaked out of her eyes, and she wiped them away furiously.

Dr. Todzahn was already at the abandoned hospital. He was preparing remove a kidney from one of the experiment subjects so that he could display what a good proper functioning kidney should look like. Now he just needed to pick out the subject...


Kenneth pulled into the old parking lot for the abandoned hospital and parked his car on the back side as usual. He got out his briefcase and headed into the building. Another day, another set of experiments to perform.

Rosa rubbed at her jaw as the cell door was slammed shut.
She had managed to spit half of the mushy food back out and in the process caked the front of one of the caretakers uniforms in semi-cold food. It was hard enough just speaking with her tooth the way it was, let alone having someone try and shove a spoon full of what she assumed was wall paper paste into her mouth.

Rick sat at his desk and fished his laptop out from the depths of his bag. it was going to be a long day.
