How do you reconcile Buddhist beliefs with supporting Ron Paul? His views are diametrically opposed to those found within most strands of Buddhist thought.

First, I am not actually Buddhist. I just find it the most interesting to study.

Second, I don't fully agree. When it comes down to it, Ron Paul believes in Peace, defense, and individualism. He does not promote collectivism. Buddhism is peaceful and focused on individual enlightenment.

Third, I don't have to agree with absolutely everything Ron Paul believes in to support him as a political candidate. He is the best out of every candidate. He is what I believe, good for this country. Plain and simple.

Again, I am not Buddhist, I just find it interesting.
