Class is usually held in the nearby swamp, the nearby beach or the "secret" creepy underground pool. Sometimes it is held in the Japanese folklore classroom. Either way you, and your things, are going to get wet. The class focuses on controlling your water abilities, different divination skills with water, spells, incantations and rituals with water. Lastly the science behind water and currents. If your water sprite teacher feels good today, or you bribe/suc up to him well enough he will teach you various sports and games that you can do in the water.

Personality: Kappa acts a lot like a grumpy old man who doesn't want to be here talking to you. He always brings his sake gourd (Japanese rice wine) with him at all times claiming it to be his much needed water, not alcohol neutral . He's lazy, usually making his students do work for him, but its easy enough to make a fool of him. But don't underestimate this old man, even though he may not seem like it most of the time he still is a 500 question year old water sprite. He's a bit of a pervert and can be easily bribed and suck upped to if you want something. dramallama
Biography: As a kappa he is native to Japan and lives in rivers or streams, he also wants to remind you that the rumor of his kind kidnapping/ drowning children and raping women is a lie. He was captured by one of the old headmasters and was forced to go into a contract with him to stay at the school for the rest of his days to protect it. Being as old as he is he is very knowledgeable about spells, rituals, potions and other such magical sources.
Appearance: He looks like the everyday creepy kappa (Google it) with a red bandana around is neck farmer style and his gourd at his waist. cheese_whine
Lily traveled to the nearby swamp for class, leaving her things back in her dorm. She couldn't afford her notebook of medicines getting wet, though she memorized many things. It was more about having to rewrite them. Either way, she waited for class to begin, focus and determination on her face.

Artrid wandered into the classroom, her boots making noises as she slugged through to one of the desks in the back row. "Were having class in a swamp? What kind of teacher is this?" She grumbled. She looked around and noticed that there was only another girl in the class. She wondered who she was as she waited for class to begin.

Kappa-Sensei swam to his class room through the secret tunnels he built without the school bored's permission that goes fish bowel to fish bowel. Not that he cared what they thought. He peered through the glass of the big fish bowel and grinned with satisfaction as he saw the two students jump. Heck one screamed and pointed. Small class but it was still worth it. He slowly climbed out of the fish bowel and jumed into the swamp. "Greeting vile land urchins, I am your valuable teacher, you may call me Kappa-Sensei." He said with a drawl. "Today, since it is your first class I'll just give you an assignment and you work it out on your own. Hmmmm, any suggestions class?" He asked the still slightly baffled looking students.

Artrid gulped as looked around. Dam only her and another girl in the class. She noticed the teacher giving her the stink eye, so she decided to say something. "Ummm... How about..." Oh no, she couldn't think of an idea. The though of the blizzard in her room suddenly came to her "....How about we have to make an ice sculpture!" She blurted out. Darn it!

Kappa-Sensie smiled evilly. "Why what a good idea... Usually you don't try the make ice till the third year but we'll make an exception here. You know what! We'll make a contest out of this too! Best sculpture win's one free poition of their choosing! Within school rules of course." He said the last part with a bit of bitterness in his voice. "Class dismissed!" He yelled,. He swam back to his gaint fish bowl, jumped in and swam off while saying "Next class is at the beach!"

Lily had seen various strange things from people mixing bad potions together, but this man seemed to be genuinely freaky looking. She simply nodded half paying attention the whole class, but heard there'd be an ice sculpting contest as an assignment. Easy enough, she thought. Was just a matter of what to actually make. She left back to her dorm to begin trying to come up with ideas.
Artrid slammed her head on the desk. She sucked at school well enough without actually suggesting a super hard assignment! "That other girl looked confident so maybe I could ask her for help.... No stupid idea, I have too much pride for that plus its a contest..." She mumbled, walking out of the classroom.
