My hobby is needlework - cross-stitch at the moment. I'm working on a gorgeous pattern of three puppies, which is taking ages. That would be for several reasons - first, it's big; second, I got my own puppy, who had to be trained to not go after embroidery thread; third, we decided to breed said puppy once she was old enough - properly old enough, not just having started heat - and she got rather clingy while she was carrying; and fourth, we now have seven puppies. I think the fact that there's seven gorgeous beagle puppies is enough reason to not be making much progress on my project. So, anyone else indulge in needlework? Is it, along with knitting and crochet, being revived as a normal thing to do? Or is it still the domain of grannies?

My little sister has done some needlework and crocheting, but I haven't seen her doing either in a while. She likes doing some arts and crafts stuff though. She used to make duct tape wallets and bracelets.
