Last Minute Act!

Matadormon is in charge of the entertainment portion of the casino and had an act cancel on him last minute. He needs a replacement and asks you for help. He will pay you for your assistance.

• Post how you go about this situation with at least 200 words to earn 100 Digi-bits.
• You can only perform twice per day.
• Tamer with the most entertaining act wins Matadormon as a partner.

[Shadow of Miracles]

When Marco was asked to replace an entertainment act, he immediately shook his head and said 'no'. Matadormon continued to insist until Marco was guilt-tripped into replacing the act. He could do the performance alone so he decided to take the only digimon that could help at this moment...FlaWizarmon! Wizard was practically in this name! Surely he had some kind of magic trick that he could pull off to entertain some people. Unfortunately, FlaWizarmon was as shy as he was, but he agreed to put on an act so long as his friends joined him.

FlaWizarmon walked towards the stage along with two other digimon: Lunamon and Gatomon. Why were these digimon chosen? Because they were girls and when it came to a magic act then you needed to have cute assistants. Gatomon and Lunamon were the first to enter the stage and it was their job to get the audience hype and ready for the act. A couple of winks and kisses here and there and the crowd seem to be interested enough. For FlaWizarmon's big entrance, he used his floating fire balls which moved around the stage coming from different places. The blue fireballs suddenly moved towards the stage until they clashed against each other creating a pillar of fire. When the pillar disappeared, FlaWizarmon emerged from the flames with a bow. Since he was a magician of fire then he decided to entertain the crowd with some fire works. Using his maracas, he summoned more of his flames making them dance around him. He twirled his maracas into the air and the flames became bigger until they formed the shape of a dragon!

The dragon moved through the stage and around Gatomon then later moving to Lunamon. Both girls giggled in delight as part of the act especially when the dragon turned into a fire cat. They petted the cat (without touching the flames) and the cat returned to FlaWizarmon who made it disappear with a shake from his macaras. For his big finale, he conjured a multiple flames which he shot into the air. The flames bumped against each other creating fireworks. The three digimon bowed once the fireworks were over and exited the stage. Marco clapped for his digimon hoping the audience were entertained.

"Don't worry." Iris said as looked at Matadormon. "Me and my girls got this. We have a performance that will knock the socks off the crowd and make you wish you asked me sooner to performance" Iris had a thumbs up as the digimon walked out of the room. If anything he was getting ready for them. Once he was gone, the confident smile went from Iris' face she looked at her digivice, letting out all her female digimon. She sighed. Sure she was helpful and eager to help but she didn't even make sure that she could. "I have to... I when we have to think up a routine and really quick for Matadormon's show. We have to make it good, really good or else we won't get paid."

Iris paced for a moment across the room as she was thinking over what they could do. "Think...think..." Iris said to herself. "Think, think." Suddenly a thought came to her. "I got it." Iris said, "Come here girls. Here is what we're going to do for this routine." Each of the digimon from Renamon to D'Arcmon. The girls nodded their heads as Iris explained the plan to her digimon

Now it was time for the show. Iris and the digimon were ready, after some practice for the show. Iris was dressed up. For the digimon, Ren was now Sakuyamon, Angel Angewomon, Flora and Lila Rosemon and Lilamon, Hime in her human form and Eclair still in her D'Arcmon form as each of them posed in the position for the dance. Yes, a dance. The curtain went up to reveal the girls. Iris, Angel and Ren were in the center of the stage with Flora and Lila paired as well as Hime and Eclair. Suddenly the music started to play through the stage and room and the girls started to dance. The moves were done unison as each girl did their part. It was be surprising to know how much practice the girls went through with the limited thing that they had.

As the instrumental part was over, Iris started to song with her part. At times, Ren and Angel would join in before it was their turn before all the girls were singing together during the chorus. During the other parts, Flora and Hime sung their parts before once again, singing in unsion. After some time, the dance was nearing end as the girls dance in a line. Once the song was over, the girls were back in a similar position that they started in.

"Thank you everyone..." Iris said as her and the girls bowed.

Marco was relieved that his performance was successful enough for the crowd to be entertained. Matadormon was grateful enough and even paid him, but apparently several of his acts had canceled on him. He was hiring several replacements and they were all told that they would be paid. The best performer would also receive a prize which gave incentive to the performers to do their best. Marco was interested in the prize, but he wasn't crossing his fingers. He told Matadormon that he would help and he never went back on his word. He had a job to do and he needed to keep the performances fresh so there couldn't be any repeats.

His next act would be soon and he would need to come up with something new. More fireworks would not attract the crowd anymore. He could try putting another magic act, but there would need to be something different. The act that went after him really got the crowd going. He couldn't see the act, but heard music and lots of whistles from the crowd. Marco wondered a dance would be a good idea? He quickly tossed that thought aside, he did not want to dance in front of people. Instead he decided to go a different act.

Once they were ready, Marco entered the stage along with two new digimon: Frigimon and Grademon. When the crowd was silent that was their cue to begin. Frigimon was the first one to go and he started with his Subzero Icepunch attack! His fist connected to the ground a pillar of ice appeared. With the pillar build it was time for Grademon to start his part in the act. The samurai digimon drew his twin swords and got into a battle stance position. He closed his eyes and the crowd grew very silent and still. When Grademon opened his eyes, he dashed forward and slashed at the ice pillar phasing right through it. When he sheathed his blades, the pillar fell apart and in its place stood a Frigimon that was made of ice. Grademon just used his swords to ice sculpt! Marco was not about to stop there so he instructed Frigimon to create more ice pillars. Frigimon used his fists to form multiple pillars around the stage. Meanwhile, Grademon was swinging his blades from one pillar to another in a very graceful manner. His movements were precise and elegant almost in a form of a dance as he finished sculpting the pillars into different types of digimon.

Upon closer inspection, the detail on the sculpture was incredible. For their final act, Frigimon conjured a huge pillar when he used both his fists for his attack. This would Grademon's most challenging piece yet and he needed full concentration to make the precise cuts. The waited until the crowd was silent again and then he lunged forward in a flurry of slashes which were faster than any eye could keep up with. When Grademon finished, the giant ice pillar came crashing down to reveal a JumboGamemon. Marco and his digimon bowed to the crowd then exited the stage.

Now that she was asked for a second performance, Iris knew that she had to think of something new and nice as well as exciting. Iris paced once more. Another dance could be nice but a dance could be done only so many times. At the very least, she could do a dance the next time. At the moment she was lost for what to do. While she was lost, her digimon had something in mind. Iris was still pacing, thinking over idea. As she thought about singing something, Ren and the others were talking over something amongst themselves before they came to their agreement. Then while Iris was thinking to herself, Ren spoke to Matadarmon, who smiled at the idea and shook Renamon's hand in agreement. But the time Iris came up with something, she knew something was wrong when Matardormon left without talking to her and Ren gave her that look. Iris gulped....


"Yup, this is bad" Iris said as she was tied up onto a wheel on the stage dressed up in a dress, a choker and pair of rabbit ears. She wasn't even going to ask why they had bunny ears for. Ren was still a Renamon, Angel was Angewomon, Flora Rosemon and Hime still in her human form. She was the announcer. Oh well, anything to have the attention on her. "Ladies and gentlemen. We have a lovely entertainment for tonight. We have our lovely assistant and her digimon to entertain you guys tonight. Please stay in your seats and know that she not in any form of danger. We are professionals.

"Danger?!" Iris said before her mouth was filled with a fruit and another was placed on the top of her head as well. As she could say was mumbled as Angel first walked forward. Her hands were position as she made an arrow of light appeared. Iris gulped as she closed her eyes. Angel shot the arrow and opened her eyes in time to see the arrow hit her mouth. She gasped, making the fruit drop. In both of them, the one on her head too, were hit with the arrow. Angel bowed as Ren took the stage.

"Nice but let me show how it's done." she said. "As you guys can see there are balloons on this wheel. Now watch me hit all of them at once. without hitting Iris or any part of her outfit. That is along as she doesn't move too much..." Iris gulped as Ren used her Diamond Storm. Iris winced and closed her eyes. All she could head was popping and then clapping. Iris sighed until Flora bumped Ren out of the way.

"That's too easy...Let's make it more interesting. More balloons... on the girl." Flora said as Lila and Eclair put ballons on Iris' body, including her face and mouth. Still not challenging enough... oh of course... around, around she goes..." The two at her side spun the wheel, making Iris spin around as well. Still not challenging enough... Flora said as she decided to put on a blindfold.

Iris gulped... I think you're trying to kill me..." she said as she went around in a circle... muffled by the balloons. Rosemon smiled as she got out her whip. Iris could hear the whip cracking and a balloon popping. She was waiting for the pain of being hit by the whip. Just getting dizzy she could only heard the whip and balloons popping until the last one that around her mouth was popped. She finally stopped spinning as Rosemon smiled and waved. "Thank you... Thank you... Hope it was fun..."

"Yea... a blast. Iris said now let me down because the world is still spinning."

Marco was pacing in his room trying to think about his next act. Matadormon had provided all of his performers with a room which was filled with many things to help them relax. The room also contained any props they might want to use for their performance which Marco was really considering using! He was practically out of ideas. Performing was not his forte! Any artistic skill he had was only on paper and they were mostly doodles he liked to draw when classes were too boring. Things like acting or activities that involved being in front of a stage were an automatic turn off for him. However, he had no choice since he agreed to be cover for the performer that canceled on Matadormon. He already performed twice, but he was running out of his ideas.

The digimon were watching their tamer pace. So Flawizarmon, Frigimon, and Grademon were the only digimon that performed so they were sitting the next performance out. Marco finally stopped and faced his Veemon with a grin on his face. He got an idea! Veemon looked back at Marco with wide eyes as he tried to slowly escape, but it was too late! Veemon would be taking the stage in this next act.

Marco and Veemon were waiting for their turn. The last performer left the crowd going wild. Whoever went before him was very much loved because he could still hear the clapping from the audience. Finally, his turned arrive and he entered the stage along with Veemon. They were both carrying a microphone and wearing the upper half of a suit (the lower half were cargo shorts) along with a big red bow-tie. Marco cleared his throat, "hello folks how are you all doing? Are you having fun in the casino?" He was asking with much enthusiasm and loudness. The audience seem to respond well to his upbeat attitude and some were still in the giddy mood from the last performer. Veemon stepped forward holding the microphone, "hello everyone my name is Veemon! And I have a question for you all...what is the 22nd letter on the Digimon alphabet? Why its V-mon!" That's right, they were going to tell jokes...

"Hey do you guys know what a digimon's favorite day is? It's MON day!" Marco attempted the next joke. He wasn't a comedian, but he was trying hard for these jokes since comedy was not his forte. "Hey Veemon, do you know what is the best digimon to go camping is?" Marco asked his blue friend who in returned crossed his arms as if to think intensely about the question. "Well gee, I don't know! What is the best digimon to go camping with?"

"Why its a TENT-o-mon!" Marco replied and when he was done with the last joke, they both faced the audience. "Thank you very much!" They spoke and bowed in unison before leaving the stage carrying red faces.
