STUBBORN xxx»» More than anything else, when asked for a word to describe Kenneth, his friends always seem to come up with stubborn (although most of them would use more colorful language). He tends to think of it as a good thing, proof that he sticks to his guns and can stand up to obstacles, but it's gotten him into trouble on more than one occasion.
METHODICAL xxx»» Rather than try to change how stubborn he is, Kenneth's method of dealing involved simply thinking things through very slowly and very carefully before he ever made a decision on how he acts, what he does, or what he thinks. He can come across as a bit slow at times (and, alright, can be slow at times), but generally it's just because he's taking his time observing all the angles and considering all the options so that he can make the best decision.
THOUGHTFUL xxx»» Kenneth will almost always put another person's needs before his own, even if that person is a complete stranger. He sacrifices everything for the people he cares about and will do just about anything to make a sad person smile. He goes out of his way to help others, doing whatever necessary to help.
TEMPERAMENTAL xxx»» Seemingly at odds with Kenneth's slow take on most things is his temper; one of the reasons he's worked so hard to force himself to think things through is because he's found himself more than once caught in a situation where he blew his top over something and later found out he was wrong. For the most part, he's gotten better, but there are a few buttons people can push that'll get him hot under the collar quick, and he's almost guaranteed to blow when that happens.
PLAYFUL xxx»» He's a very easy-going guy; he likes to party and have a good time. He's not without his limits, but for the most part, his idea of a good night involves a bonfire at the lake and pulling drunken pranks on his drunk friends. He's prone to teasing and making self-deprecating jokes, all in the name of a good time. Generally, his solution to any problem is to get a nice buzz going and make jokes about it until it doesn't seem so awful anymore. While this doesn't always work, it at least manages to make him feel better.
CHIVALROUS xxx»» Kenneth was raised a good Southern boy by his mother, and he knows how to treat a lady. He holds doors open, pulls out chairs, and is generally there as a helping hand whenever any woman needs help. This generosity extends to men as well, but usually he'll want a favor in return, or at least a beer. But, his general attitude towards women is that, yeah, they're just as good as we are, but they're much prettier and much sweeter, so why not help them out? He doesn't look down on them in the slightest; he believes in taking care of them because he wants too, not because they need it.

CHILDHOOD xxx»» Kenneth was the firstborn son of Joseph Holt, the only child from his first marriage to Mary Anne Holt. His father, originally from Britain, met Mary, a muggle, while in Tennessee on a holiday, and fell in love. Eventually, he moved to America and married her. Their household was incredibly open and filled with love and Southern charm, complete with fried home cooked meals and trips to the Grand Ole Opry.
SCHOOL YEARS xxx»» Just before Kenneth went away to school at age seven (customary for students attending magical schools in America), his mother grew ill. She passed away during his first year at Pre-Wiz school. He was always grateful for this turn of events, seeing as he was quite disturbed by how his father described his mother appearing during her illness, which contributed to his deep-seated fear of growing deathly ill. In school, he was a gifted student, although at times he seemed a bit slow, as he had to take careful time to consider what he was learning to properly benefit from it. While he was at school, his father would return to Britain to be with his family rather than be alone. He met his second wife, Allison, during one of these visits. The pair fell in love and married quickly. Rather than being resentful of her father for moving on so quickly, Kenneth recognized it as a fear of being alone, a trait they shared. When Kenneth was 11, his younger half-brother Elliott was born. From then on, the family would spend their Summers in America to be with Kenneth and return to Britain in the fall.
ADULTHOOD xxx»» After graduating, Kenneth got a job as a chef, and spent his free time hanging out and partying with friends. Unlike some of his friends, he was always responsible, keeping the parties as reasonable as possible and preventing things from getting out of hand. When he was nineteen, he received word that his father and step-mother had both died in an accident, and that the issue of his brother's guardianship was being looked over by the court. He immediately left to Britain, living in the family estate, a move which became permanent when he was named his brother's guardian. He has since used family money to purchase The Magic Neep, a green grocer's in Hogsmeade Village in Scotland. He would've liked to get a job as a chef, but his limited knowledge of British cuisine made this seem like a bad idea. For his part, he is thankful for the job he has, as it saves him from working nights and gives him access to fresh goods to use when cooking for his brother. The pair, while affectionate with one another, are still rather unused to one another. The difference in their upbringing and cultures were obvious and occasionally difficult, but Kenneth was determined to do as best he could with his brother. xxx»» After moving to England, Kenneth met a Hogwarts student named Verily. The pair formed an easy friendship, with Ver frequenting his shop on the weekends she was permitted out of the castle. Once she had graduated, they grew closer, their relationship eventually growing romantic. xxx»» While things with Verily were generally pretty simple, things with his brother were not. While out in London one day, they came across a boy Elliott recognized from school, in some sort of confrontation with a man. The pair quickly realized there was more to the situation than was being let on, and conned the man into letting Jesse come with them. Then, they strong-armed Jesse into remaining with them instead of returning 'home', and Jesse became a part of the family. Things were rocky with him, given his past, but Ken felt it was important to keep him somewhere safe. Meanwhile, he and Elliott developed feelings for one another, and eventually started dating, which was rife with its own problems, which Ken more or less stayed out of for their own good and his own sanity. xxx»» The Summer before their final year of school Jesse went missing, and when Elliott eventually found him, it was obvious he'd been through something traumatic. Ken never got the details, but he was as supportive as he could manage. Meanwhile, Ken and Verily, married a couple years before, had a child, their daughter Sawyer. Juggling dealing with Jesse's problems and the baby proved challenging, but the family worked it out as best they could. Once the boys had graduated, a new problem presented itself, as Jesse's best friend Jojo had also gone missing. Ken still isn't entirely sure what happened with that situation, he only knows that the girl was eventually found and that the boys refuse to talk about it. Shortly after that, Elliott moved into the flat above Ken's shop to 'get some space' from Jesse, a move which Ken told him was idiotic but he went through with anyway. They presumably worked things out, but not before Ken was left with an empty liquor cabinet and a lot of questions he didn't want the answers to. xxx»» Living in Hogsmeade, Jesse happened across a Hogwarts student who reminded them all a little too much of him when he'd been that age, who was clearly in dire straits. The boy was accompanied by a young girl, and Ken's paternal instinct took over. Using years of navigating Jesse's nonsense, he figured out a way to talk Wren into Anwen living with him and Verily, and into staying with them as well over the holidays. xxx»» Apparently, taking in strays was going to be something of a habit with this particular family; Kenneth was just surprised to see his brother and Jesse continuing on the tradition, albeit in a more legal way than he ever had. He was exceptionally surprised when the pair informed him that they'd adopted a little boy named Leiland. But, once he met the kid, he could see exactly why they'd done it, and found that he was quite attached to him as well.

INTROVERTED xxx»» Elliott was always a quiet child, particularly after the death of his parents. In general, people bother him; he finds most to be boring, or annoying, and doesn't care to focus any energy on either sort. For the most part, he's happiest alone, though there are a few rare exceptions, people he finds to be pleasant company as opposed to draining his energy and patience.
QUICK-TEMPERED xxx»» One of the only traits Elliott shares with his older brother is his temper; while he has a longer fuse than Kenneth, when he does blow up, he blows big. He's a very emotional person, and tends to try to channel most negative emotions into anger, rather than allowing himself to feel depressed or hurt. He tries to manage his temper, but it often slips anyway. He tries to stay emotionally distant from situations to prevent this, but it's not always possible for him to do so.
SHARP xxx»» Elliott is sharp, particularly in his wit. He's never one to hold back a snappy comeback, and tends to respond to anything that annoys him by looking down his nose and trying to prove how smart he is. He thinks quickly on his feet and is good at working through problems. What he lacks in brawn he more than makes up for with his brains, and he never fails to put them to good use. As far as he's concerned, knowledge is power, and while he isn't power-hungry per say, he knows the value of being in control.
CURIOUS xxx»» His love of books is born of a thirst to learn; he loves a good story, but he's also intrigued by knowledge. Practicality is always of interest, though he doesn't particularly mind learning something useless; it's important to him just because it's something he didn't already know. He absorbs new information like a sponge, and loves to find more. Whether or not he has need to or is capable of applying that knowledge is irrelevant; he just wants to know it.
MATURE xxx»» Aside from his inability to keep his emotions in check, Elliott is very mature for his age. He speaks maturely, and knows how to handle most any situation maturely. So long as he is not directly involved in an altercation, he can usually mediate well, and is an excellent voice of reason. When he is involved, his emotions tend to get the better of him, but after it's all said and done, he's typically quick to see his error and apologize (and even manages not to hold it against them later).
SOLEMN xxx»» His parents deaths have took a toll on him. He doesn't see the point in looking on the bright side, since you're often just setting yourself up for disappointment. He refers to himself as a pessimistic realist; it's not that he thinks there is no good, he just believes it to be rare. More often than not, a situation will turn out for the worse, and he'd rather be braced for that to happen than shocked and emotionally traumatized.

CHILDHOOD xxx»» Elliott was born the younger half-brother of Kenneth Liam Holt, son of Joseph and Allison Holt. Joseph had been married before, to an American woman named Mary Anne, with whom he had Kenneth, and the three of them lived in a small town in Tennessee. After Mary's death when Kenneth was seven, Joseph would return to his original home in England while his son was at school to be with his family, rather than remaining alone in his and Mary's home. During one of these trips, he met his second wife, Allison. The two fell in love and were married. Elliott was born when Kenneth was eleven, and again, while Kenneth was in school, his father, stepmother and half-brother would stay in England, returning to America during the Summer months. This continued until Kenneth graduated, and Elliott saw little of his brother from then until the year their parents died. There was a brief custody battle between Kenneth and a few of the older family members, but in the end, Elliott's older brother was named his guardian. Kenneth made his move to England permanent and used some of his inheritance to purchase a shop in Hogsmeade so that he could earn an income rather than live off his family's wealth, believing doing so would be lazy. Elliott, for his part, spent most of his time at home, being looked after by the two family House-Elves.
SCHOOL YEARS
FIRST YEAR»» Elliott was unsurprised to be sorted into Ravenclaw upon arriving at Hogwarts; he spent the majority of his first year with his head down and his nose in a book, either studying or reading. He did manage to make a couple of friends, much to his surprise. SECOND YEAR»» Elliott's second year was entirely uneventful; the most notable thing that occurred was his developing an interest in the study of Mind Magic, and an unfortunate encounter with a certain annoying knight portrait while he attempted to study. Following the interaction, Sir Cadogan began to rather obsessively follow him around the castle, seemingly intent on annoying him to death. The knight seemed to insist that they were 'friends', much to his horror. THIRD YEAR»» In the Summer before his third year, Elliott and his brother were out in London when they came across Jesse, a schoolmate of his, who was apparently running away from a man. Elliott and Kenneth interceded, and effectively kidnapped the boy away from the guy, Paul. Jesse spent the remainder of the Summer with them. His third year at school was mostly uneventful, aside from his befriending one of his housemates, Timothy Cherri, and being accosted by a girl in his year, Persephone Tempest. She came to him and told him that she was concerned for Jesse, who was apparently gay, and afraid that something bad would happen to him if Paul found out. Elliott shared her concern after she told him about what the other boy had said, and not-so-subtly manipulated his friend into staying with him again the following Summer. FOURTH YEAR»» Elliott's fourth year was rather eventful, at least by his reasoning. Though, all that really happened was his asking Jesse out on a date. A date that, despite all odds, somehow apparently went rather well, and the pair became an official couple. Other than that, there wasn't much to really report, but he's still baffled enough by this turn of events that it warrants mentioning. FIFTH YEAR»» On the way to the train station at the start of Summer, Hogsmeade was attacked by a group of wannabe Death Eaters. Elliott was mainly concerned with finding Jesse and getting him somewhere safe, but as they were trying to make it through the crowd, a younger student in Jesse's house tripped the Slytherin into a Cruciatus Curse. Elliott's temper got the better of him, and he proceeded to incapacitate the figure who'd cast the curse... and set him on fire... and then stunned the boy who'd tripped Jesse to begin with. The pair made it out mostly unscathed, though Elliott was understandably distressed at the fact that his boyfriend had been tortured to the point of passing out. The following school year was essentially a blur of studying for OWLs and the pair rewarding themselves for their diligence with regular snogging sessions in various broom closets. SIXTH YEAR»» Over the Summer before sixth year, Elliott (unwillingly) attended a party with Jesse, Jesse's friend Jojo, and Jojo's boyfriend Kenny. They were supposed to be acting as chaperon's of a sort to Jojo, who suffered from severe anxiety, and to keep an eye on one another, since Jesse seemed paranoid about what might occur at the party. Upon arriving, Jojo decided the best course of action was to get plastered, and, in an attempt to get her to curtail her drinking, Elliott vowed to drink just as much as she did, thinking it would get her to slow down. Instead, she took it as a challenge, and he discovered he was far outmatched in terms of alcohol tolerance. By the end of the night, he was a clingy, affectionate mess of a drunk, which resulted in his confessing to Jesse that he loved him. Elliott was exceptionally displeased with himself when he received his OWL scores and discovered that he had only managed an EE in Healing. That the rest of his scores were perfect O's was of little consequence, he couldn't stop obsessing with that one error. He determined that, given the difficulty of NEWT exams, his best course of action would be to drop a few courses, so he could focus more attention on each lesson. When he began his sixth year, he also was finally able to attend the Mind Magic courses offered by the school, and found them to be rather easy. He chalked this up to having a strong understanding of the magic before he even began the class, figuring he'd already done most of the groundwork and was only really in the class for practice. That year, he and Jesse attended the Valentine's Day ball together, which began as something of an annoyance and ended up worse than he'd even considered, which was saying something. Elliott reacted negatively to Jesse teasing him over the Summer's drunken confession, and managed to scare Jesse by getting angry at him. Eventually, Elliott finally managed to get his boyfriend to tell him some of what had happened to him as a child that resulted in his issues, though not as much as Elliott would have liked. SEVENTH YEAR»» Shortly into the summer before Elliott's last year of school, Jesse went missing. He spent most of the Summer obsessively searching for his boyfriend, all the while knowing that the odds of finding him were almost nonexistent, and harboring a suspicion that perhaps Jesse didn't want to be found. In spite of the improbability of it, he finally located the Slytherin, only to discover that he'd been kidnapped by his birth family, a wealthy pureblood family that had ditched him and erased his memories at age seven when they determined him to be a squib. The remainder of the holiday, and the early part of the school year, his attention was focused on helping Jesse's mental state reach some semblance of normalcy. They were doing well enough, though Elliott, being a pessimist, wasn't ever really convinced that things were improving all that much. Then, shortly into the second half of the year, Jojo went missing, presumably kidnapped by her grandfather, and Elliott's attention was further split between worry about Jesse, worry about Jojo, and studying for his exams. Regardless, he managed well enough on his exams to be eligible to apply as an Auror.
ADULTHOOD xxx»» Immediately after graduating, Elliott put in his application, which was accepted easily enough, much to his relief. Once that was taken care of, his top priority was helping in the search for Jojo, which he fully intended to use the advantages of his position to do. Eventually Kenny stumbled across her, and discovered that something had been done to her mind so she didn't know who she was. A scheme was concocted to come to her rescue, which included Jesse assuming his birth name and allowing Lysandar to 'recruit' him. Elliott was very much against the plan, but knew that Jesse would go through with it regardless, and so roped Jojo's Auror friend Darcy Bennett into the loop so that they would have experienced help. Eventually Jesse was able to get them all into the keep where Lysandar and his group were holed up. There was a confrontation, resulting in Lysandar's death at Kenny's hands. They got Jojo to safety, and it was agreed that Darcy would claim he had been the one to kill Lysandar, so that Kenny didn't face any legal consequences. Of course, he and Elliott both faced repercussions in the office, but neither of them were fired, which was all that really mattered. Elliott used his legilimency to get into Jojo's head and assess what had been done. He discovered that her memories from when Lysandar had first snapped and killed her uncle and aunt had been removed, and replaced with false memories to make Lysandar seem like the good guy. He reversed the charm that had locked away her real memories, but wasn't confident in his ability to remove the false ones without damaging her mind, so they remained, resulting in a split personality. xxx»» Once the matter with Jojo was settled, Elliott found himself free of distractions, which turned out to not be a very good thing. Given that they had graduated and were adults, Elliott began having some difficulty dealing with the limits Jesse's trauma had on their relationship's progress. He eventually decided to move out of the estate home in order to get some space. He was, essentially, trying to teach himself to repress any wants he might have that Jesse would be unable to fulfill. Unfortunately, Jesse attempted to find another solution, one that involved him getting drunk enough to try and ignore his own fears. Elliott ended up locking Jesse in his bedroom, and slept on the couch that night. In the morning, they discussed the situation, and resolved to communicate better moving forward. xxx»» Eventually, things settled, as much as they realistically could. Things were fairly normal and growing predictable, which Elliott rather liked, up until Jesse seemingly out of the blue proposed the idea of adopting a child. He related to Elliott that he'd gone by the orphanage one night and met a boy, who was quite unhappy being in the orphanage. Elliott was hesitant, but Jesse eventually wore him down and convinced him to meet the child. Just like with Jesse, Leiland won Elliott over easily when they met. In spite of thinking it was insane, he agreed to adopt the boy.

CHILDHOODShe was born 2 minutes earlier than her twin sister and has always enjoyed holding that over her head. For the first 5 years of her life she lived with her older sister Michelle and her mother and father in a small cottage happily. Right around her 5th birthday, her grandfather visited in the middle of the night and tried to murder her older sister. The next morning, her father packed their things, and they left the cottage behind... and Michelle. She figured they would be returning for Michelle but they never did.
They moved in with her aunt Maggie, Uncle Blake, and cousin Gracie. It was around this time that Gracie had begun showing magical abilities and Uncle Blake was introduced to the magical world. After moving in with them, Ver's mother grew angrier and angrier until one day around her tenth birthday, her mother just disappeared. They never really heard from her again.
SCHOOL YEARS
FIRST YEARShe was sorted into Ravenclaw and Elli was sorted into Gryffindor. She joined the quidditch team as a beater and her sister was a Keeper on the Gryffindor team. Over summer they saved Darius from his father and her and him became best friends. He moved into their house as he had no where else to go. Over summer while they were out shopping, a man attacked the home and murdered Aunt Maggie and Uncle Blake and almost killed Gracie too. The place was practically burned to the ground and they went to live with Vincent Catlin, Olyvia Catlin and Michelle for the rest of the summer. SECOND YEARIn the beginning of her second year a boy named Erik began flirting with her. She was confused and had no idea how to feel about it. They ended up dating because he asked and she was too shy to say no. During a Quidditch game, Darius fell off his broom and almost died. She ended up kissing him... or did he kiss her. It was all rather fast. But Erik saw and got pissed off and almost killed himself over it. THIRD YEARDuring her third year Erik and his entire family moved to America with no warning at all. Ver was honestly a little bit relieved about it once she actually took the time to think about it. She was depressed at first but she realized he wasn't healthy for her anyways. They had moved back into their house at this point, but Gracie had changed. She'd almost died and been turned into a vampire to save her life. She was also sort of dating a Slytherin Pureblood named Dominic. Elli was dating Cam, and Ver was alone. FOURTH YEARDarius and Ver began dating this year. FIFTH YEARHer entire fifth year consisted of focusing on OWLs and thats all. She passed well at least. SIXTH YEARShe broke up with Darius before the Valentine's ball which was awkward but it had to be done. She was too ******** in the head to be in a realtionship. She needed to focus on herself. Ver met Kenneth in a grocery store by making a fool of herself while she was shopping for Gracie. She ended up kissing him out of panic and running away before sobbing. Yet somehow he decided to help her out and they became pretty good friends. She would visit him every time she was in Hogsmeade. Over summer Darius showed up on her doorstep with his face bleeding. She healed him before getting into a fight with him about them. SEVENTH YEARShe spent seventh year following her sister's advice which ended spectacularly bad but hilarious. She also started falling for Kenneth unwillingly. She was starting to be happy though.
POST GRADUATIONAfter graduating, she got a job at St. Mungos on the spell damage floor. It was her dream job. She began dating Kenneth and a few years later they got engaged and then got married. She is now living with him, his little brother, and most of the time his little brother's boyfriend as well. They're rather cute together really. She's begun thinking about babies too. Verily had Sawyer and immediately fell in love with the baby. The child was definitely a hellion though and was sure to get into tons of trouble but she didn't care. She had grown up with her sister and Gracie... nothing could be worse than them... right?
Sawyer has been a handful since she was born, but her kidnapping almost killed Verily. The mother became much more protective afterwards, barely letting the child out of her sight... which of course drove Sawyer nuts.

CHILDHOODSawyer was born to Kenneth and Verily Holt in February 2033. She has 2 uncles, and 4 Aunts. She has Lexical-gustatory synesthesia. Her first 4 years of life were generally uneventful as far as she could tell. She of course was left out of all the dangerous things her uncles got into. She spent a lot of time with the rest of her family and even has an aunt her age! She wasn't really sure how that worked but she didn't care. She loved her family. She now has a cousin Lee, and new friends in Tris and Jack.
Over the summer when she was 6 years old, two gross old men kidnapped her and boy name Will because they thought they would get a huge ransom. Both kids got beat up pretty badly, but they were rescued easily because the men were pretty stupid. She has since kept in contact with Will through owls, and considers him her best friend.

In fact, he just has specific ways to think about things, and usually it involves breaking things down to the numbers and working it. He excels at mathematics for this reason, and his process is almost always fast and precise... when he doesn't get distracted, that is. xxxxx⇾Fᴏʀɢᴇᴛꜰᴜʟ: Lee has a terrible memory, and often forgets things like where he is going, where he left something, or if he's eaten that particular day. He finds it as a blessing, because it enables him to read books time and again without quite remembering the ending. xxxxx⇾Sʜʏ: Lee is rather quiet, and will never speak up on his own behalf. He often has to wait for people to notice him, as he will never be the one to instigate a conversation. When he does talk, he's often tripping over his own words or losing track of what he's trying to say. xxxxx⇾Iɴᴛᴇʟʟɪɢᴇɴᴛ: Lee is very smart, including that he's ahead of his grade on reading, writing, and maths. There's almost no problem he can't figure out if he thinks about it (and doesn't forget what he's doing). xxxxx⇾Cᴜʀɪᴏᴜs: Lee is often on the hunt for knowledge, as he loves learning new things. He won't usually ask questions, but he will try to solve them himself. This can occasionally end poorly when paired with his clumsiness and lack of ability to ask for help. xxxxx⇾Iɴᴅᴇᴘᴇɴᴅᴇɴᴛ: As soon as he wasn't required to be cared for, Lee's parents made him more or less figure out the world on his own. This included self-soothing and entertaining himself, so he's become quite self-reliant. When paired with his shyness, he often attempts to make it through the days without getting help from anyone, even if he's not sure how to do something alone.

xxx𝒞𝒽𝒾𝓁𝒹𝒽𝑜𝑜𝒹xxx Leiland was born to Byron and Nanette Belthaire, two wealthy purebloods from England. They were the type to want a child to hand their name to, so when Leiland was born, they were excited to have a son. As he grew into his toddler stage, they tried to force independence upon the child, and surprisingly, it worked. He learned to take care of himself to the degree of which a toddler could, but it didn't seem enough. This was due partly to the fact that he was always tripping on his own feet (and anything else around). It wasn't until he was staying with his grandfather that the man decided to have the child tested. Franklin figured Lee had either an issue with balance or vision, and it turned out he was right. Unfortunately, when Leiland went home with brand new glasses, his parents weren't as thrilled as he was. Their heir couldn't be so obviously "messed up", they reasoned, so he was told he could wear his glasses at home, and nowhere else. They couldn't let their son be seen wearing glasses, after all! When he turned four, they sent Lee to a private tutor, who quickly pointed out the boy's messy speaking habits. That fact greatly upset the couple, and they vowed he'd be getting speech therapy until he'd improved. When this news came to Franklin, he convinced his daughter and son-in-law to let him take Leiland instead, promising they'd never have to care for the boy. Leiland watched from the hall as his parents agreed to give up the boy, provided Franklin never asked for child support money.
Despite all this, the older man happily packed his grandson's belongings, before taking Lee to his small cottage. He did his best to care for the boy, but he'd been swindled out of most of his money by both his daughter and ex-wife, and times became hard. No matter what, he always went out of his way to care for the sweet boy, and that meant he often skipped meals in order for the boy to eat. One day, while Leiland was at school, the elderly man suffered a heart attack. A kindly neighbor had called the ambulance, but it was too late. Leiland was picked up at the school by a pair of officials, one of whom explained what had befallen his grandfather. They searched for family for the boy and found Byron and Nanette, but they refused to take in the boy, as they were pregnant with another baby, one they hoped would be perfect. In light of the fact that Leiland had no other family, they were forced to pack his belongings and turn him over to an orphanage in London. Lee didn't much like it there, as it was loud and often hectic, though he did quite like the owners of the place, as they understood his quiet and always helped to find his glasses when he managed to lose them.
One day, fate happened to allow Leiland to meet a man named Jesse, one who seemed to enjoy talking to him. He promised he'd get his friend and return soon, which Lee happily accepted. Shortly thereafter, Jesse returned with Elliott, whom Leiland liked as well. It didn't take long before they had decided on adopting the child. A few weeks before his sixth birthday, Lee was officially adopted and changed his surname from Belthaire to Holt. He packed up his belongings and was moved from big-city London to nice, quiet Hogsmeade. Plus, he was right near Hogwarts, which was pretty darn cool.
Lee spent much of his time with his parents, though he also got to hang out with Kenny and Jojo, among other family members. All he knew was that it was awesome to have a family, especially one that didn't mind him being quiet. He grew to love his family, and trust Jesse and Elli far more than he'd ever allowed himself to trust before. He also allowed them to help him in speech therapy classes, allowing his stuttering to go down quite a bit. It still acted up whenever the boy got upset or nervous, but significantly better than all the time. Upon his eleventh birthday, the family was delighted to see him receive his Hogwarts letter, though he made his dads promise they'd let him skip the train ride.
xxx𝒮𝒸𝒽𝑜𝑜𝓁 𝒴𝑒𝒶𝓇𝓈xxx First Year started off well enough (mostly due to the fact that he hadn't had to ride the train). He even made a friend named Kendall, who quickly discovered his penchant for accidental swearing. So did their professor Hill... oops. Unfortunately, that same year he also discovered a bully and nearly got in a fight. He did, however, make two more friends. He even joined a bunch of people for a snowy picnic and a bit of exploring. Lee made a few friends, which was nice for him. As the years passed, he proved himself to be a good friend, even if he occasionally frequently cursed at them. The summer before fifth year, Lee discovered he had a little brother, then later the boy showed up at the Holt flat, positively covered in signs of abuse, broken bones and much more. The Holt family tended to his wounds, then formally adopted him. His last year at school was mostly studying and making sure to help Cici survive the years.
xxx𝒜𝒹𝓊𝓁𝓉𝒽𝑜𝑜𝒹xxx When Lee graduated, he got a job in the Ministry, working with stars and space and time. He put his nose to the grindstone, working extra hours to save up enough to buy a little house for himself and Kendall. Kendall had gotten a job aboard a ship, which Lee found to be incredibly interesting. Despite their long distance, their relationship grew closer, and they spent all their free time talking.
After Kendall had been on the ship awhile, he came home and offered Lee to join the crew for a few weeks, on one of their short missions. Lee got approved the leave at work and came aboard. Turns out, his clumsiness was offset by the motion of the ship, and Lee quickly found his footing. After setting up his telescope, Lee came up with a fantastic plan. At work, he put in a request to study the stars all around the world, focused from the oceans, where few people were. He was approved, and he was allowed to join the crew of the Solus more frequently, which meant more time with Kendall.
On one beautiful night, Lee set up a little picnic at the hull of the ship, one for himself and Kendall to watch as a meteor shower rained overhead. That night, Lee proposed to Kendall, who agreed happily. They planned a little wedding, which they had on one of their shore leaves. Lee may have accidentally cursed several times during his vows (luckily, all was met with laughter), and even said "I ******** do". Luckily for him, Kendall said the same, and the two were married.
After a brief honeymoon, they went back aboard the Solus to continue their work. Lee did a lot of studying and mapmaking, while Kendall was usually running to do their work as well. Lee occasionally stayed behind to return to working at the Ministry, before hopping back aboard the ship.
xxx𝓟𝒆𝓻𝓼𝓸𝓷𝓪𝓵𝓲𝓽𝔂xxx xxxxx⇾Gᴇɴᴛʟᴇ: Cicero is incredibly gentle with everything around, from nature to people to inanimate objects. He seldom breaks items and feels immense guilt whenever he damages things. Unfortunately, the downside means he's rather tender and can't handle insults well.
xxxxx⇾Dʀᴇᴀᴍᴇʀ: Cicero is often living within the confines of his own imagination. He tends to drift off into daydreams, especially when he gets bored. He also has high hopes for himself, despite his parents' thoughts of him.
xxxxx⇾Aʀᴛɪsᴛɪᴄ: Cicero sees the world through artistic eyes. His vivid imagination helps fuel his artwork, and he's pretty good at expressing it. He likes to practice whichever styles he learns about.
xxxxx⇾Lᴏʏᴀʟ: Cicero is fiercely loyal to his ideals and thoughts. He was raised a very specific way, and it sharply affects his thoughts. Luckily, his loyalty carries over to people, who he will happily defend.

His older brother was taken away from the family, but Cicero was taught to believe that it had been his choice to leave the family. He was raised more by his tutors and nannies than his parents, but whenever his parents wanted to show off how happy and together they were, they'd show up and everything would be fine. Unfortunately, whenever they were alone, Cicero took the brunt of their anger and frustration. They hurt and humiliated him, then would lock him in his room until the tutor came again. Somehow, after that, the family seemed happier, so Cicero accepted his fate in the line. When he reached the age of eleven, he was delighted to get his Hogwarts letter. Finally, a new place to study and prepare for his future.... and get away from his parents for a while.

It was weird, but Lee took him under his wing and tried to help. (Cici also discovered several new words, but that's not important) He made a few friends, which was precious and wonderful for Cici. The summer of his third year, he confessed to his parents (and one of their old-person friends) about his crush on Reggie Blake, but his parents didn't like that confession.
Cicero was beaten, simply because he spoke his feelings, and he found a chance to escape. Packing his bag and grabbing his wand, Cici slipped out of his bedroom window, running to the road. He summoned the Knight Bus and fled to Hogsmeade, where he knew his big brother to live. When he went to their house, everything went to a frenzy. He was taken to the hospital for healing, and everything went wild. After a few Ministry hearings and a few court battles, Cici was placed in the care of Elliott and Jesse - Lee's parents. He got to change his name to theirs, and he was ever so happy to do so. The next few years passed in a whirlwind of studying, joining clubs, and keeping on top of homework. He did well on his OWLs, then studied harder, doing even better on his NEWTs.
xxx𝒜𝒹𝓊𝓁𝓉𝒽𝑜𝑜𝒹xxx After befriending a librarian at the magical library, Cici decided he'd follow in their footsteps. He requested a job there, doing research and everything else as he worked. He got to know several patrons, and enjoyed his work. He saved up enough to get a small flat. It wasn't much, but it was perfect for him.
