I'm American, and while I took German in high school that was too long ago to remember any of it. Language is use-or-lose skill, and I didn't have much to start with. Now I'm learning sign language a little bit, which is fun but I need more opportunities to practice! xd

I took French classes my Junior and Senior year, good memories. Even though I graduated 2011. xD
From what I remember, it's all rusty but I do have my French binders from both years, haha! |

I'm American~ As for languages, I used to be intermediate level in Korean but I've been out of practice and sadly am back to being a beginner. orz It depresses me.
Good luck in your French though! The spelling for it would be a nightmare for me.
