Bentley opened his eyes, activating his sharingan when he heard his opponent walk in and stood up with a smile. "yea, I'm just a really relaxed and religious guy, I like to pray and meditate before battle. a calm mind fights better." he thought Aurum seemed chill so he reached his hand out in a fist to bump Aurum's as he introduced himself, although not the best way to start a fight to many people, the guy seemed civil enough to try. "The name's Bentley Rakurai, good luck man." he then noticed the third shinobi walking in and turned to look at him and introduce himself before they fought as he assumed most normal people did. "Yo, wh- oh..." He then saw the man making handsigns and started backing away from Aurum. "Wow this guy's a d**k, I guess we're starting." he said chuckling, but then he stopped as he suddenly went blind. "Yo this F***er blinded me!" he yell angrily as he heard Riri's footsteps rushing towards him, he would immediately turn around and jump away in the opposite direction from the two of them. "Yo, dude help me out and I wont stab you in the back afterward unlike this ba***rd!" He hoped that letting Aurum know he was blind wasn't a mistake. he would have the choice to either go after the stronger opponent or one who was already at a disadvantage. Bentley could only pray to Raijin that Aurum would have a conscience about this and do what was probably the least likely thing to happen in the situation. as he landed He realized there was a lot of water at his feet and he made handsigns and activated a genjutsu that would make Riri feel as if a tree grew around him to bind his whole body. then another genjutsu on top of that to make him blind also, and if he undid one of the genjutsu the second would remain. if Aurum did not attack him he would look toward his new ally. "I got him trapped" he would say as he then pull out a hilt from his right hip and focus chakra into it creating a lightning bow in his left hand, he could hear where riri was easily as he was running through water making a lot of noise. he aimed the bow at him, touching all five fingers on his right hand to the bow and drawing back as a pure raiton string and five raiton arrows formed in the frame, connected to his fingers. he would wait to launch the arrows at Riri while paralyzed by the tree. "you want the first hit?" he said with a smirk allowing him to get the first attack. if Aurum hesitated he would release the arrows, three to his chest spread out in a triangle formation and two aimed at either side of him just in case he was able to move, he would still be hit by one of the two arrows to his side or they would hit the water electrocuting him as his feet were covered in the charged water. he would then changed the form of the bow into a 10 foot whip and waved it over his head in a circle constantly making it impossible for anyone to get within 10 feet of him without being cut.

As Aurum continued to walk, he entered the wide grassy plains where another person was waiting. Smiling, Aurum shouted and waved a hand like a long lost friend. His Qazan was greatly amplifying his own verbal skills and influential ability. “Hey! Are you ok? You’re just standing in the middle of this place and don’t look nervous at all.” Aurum focused his two jewel colored eyes on Bentley’s. Aurum’s eyes were a little furrowed as he searched this person’s face and eyes for an answer he was greatly confused and depending on this person’s answer they could make for a valuable partner.

Riri arrived in the arena and with a few hand seals cast Bentley into a genjutsu, he would not be able to see a thing. He wouldn't be able to see any incoming attacks or moves and because of the way genjutsu worked, unless he had some way of knowing what had happened. Even if he did it would take him a minute to realize it and break it. Riri would pull out his sword and quickly stab Bentley in the heart. While all of this was happening, water would seep out of the ground. Not just a little bit of water but a lot, in the time it took for Riri to make contact with Bentley there would be a foot of it all over the arena. The water being manipulated by Riri to grab both opponents and keep them still. Bentley the minute he released the genjutsu would find himself unable to move, by that time he would most likely be dead. Aurum would be stopped as well and even a step further, he would be pulled off his feet and onto the ground. This would stop him from using any jutsu because it would disrupt either the hand signs or his focus. Then the water would proceed to try and drown him. The water forcing its way into Aurums lungs, he would find himself in quite a predicament. If Bentley was killed in the attack, then Riri would make his way out of the arena before Aurum got out, if not then he would stay.

((two things before i post, doesn't water manipulation count as ninjutsu? especially that much water cuz idk what else it would be, damn sure isn't genjutsu or taijutsu and I see it in the ninjutsu handbook lol. and in an arena where ninjutsu is disabled wouldn't it be painfully obvious that handsigns+blindness=genjutsu to any Chuunin that's seen genjutsu before? although fuuinjutsu's an option, it's unlikely.))

(Genjutsu makes your mind think its real, now if you have a three tomoe sharingan, you can easily break out of it and realize since im not genjutsu class. Also Water manipulation is not ninjutsu, its manipulation of natural elements. Therefore uses no chakra. So with the genjutsu, I'm sure you can break out of it, in time I don't know. Its all about coming up with a strategy.)

Once near the target, a tree will grow at their feet and its branches will bind them so they can no longer move. Once the illusion makes them believe they are captured, the user will appear from the tree itself and stab said target with a kunai.
Magen: Niju Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu (Demonic Illusion: Double False Surroundings Technique) Rank:B Description: This jutsu places another illusion on top of a previous illusion created by the user. If and when the target dispels the first illusion, they will not realize that a second is in place. The second surrounding can be controlled by moving chakra in your hands.

A smile appeared on Aurum face, revealing his perfect white teeth as his eyes slightly closed, though his vision was kept the same as he made eye contact with the sharingan. Aurum placed a genjutsu on Bentley for future use and gently held out his fist for the fist-bump. There was something about this person that deeply intrigued him. Aurum’s own curiosity and interest seemed to flow off him like waves, gently pulling Bentley emotionally closer. As he opened his mouth to speak to him, his qazan caught sight of another aura and quickly picked up on the handsigns that were being made.
At first, Aurum wanted to talk to the new person but then decided against it. He had to kill somebody in this arena. Making relationships would work, but not at his current skill level with the Samara bloodline. There was something else though, a sense of annoyance at being completely ignored. His features were perfect, striking in fact, and he was treated as if he didn’t exist? He suddenly sought the comforting touch of Hutar, who had awakened his awareness to his own beauty and perfection. IN a slight fit of rage, Aurum cast a genjutsu that would come to completion before Riri’s would ever be cast.
His ability to cast genjutsu without the need for handsigns allowed him to cast them much faster than the novice that stood before him. To Riri, the world around him would darken and the God of Death would appear before him. Aurum smiled innocently, sweetly, like a dangerous flower as he pictured how his opponent would feel as the hand of the Death God would reach inside his body and rip out his soul. Though that wasn’t the problem. This Genjutsu was so fierce, so intense, that he would experience an extremely powerful heart attack and die. While he cast that, Aurum would also activate another jutsu causing his entire appearance to be off by both sight and sensing. The water attempting to drown him would be ineffective as it would be unable to grasp his real body.“Bentley, don’t interfere. This one is mine.” If Bentley would try to interact in any way, the genjutsu on his body that had been set earlier would activate. Causing him to stand still, doing nothing, and any jutsu that were used to be turned on himself, likely hindering or killing himself. Aurum also prepared a genjutsu for anyone who could enter the current area.
Seibai no Shinigami (Death God’s Judgement) Special: Admin approval (Jai has approved!) Description: A technique that can literally scare an opponent to death. First everything becomes black around the victim and he/she can only see his/her own body. Suddenly a large spirit emerges in front of him/her… the Death God himself! The sight of the God of Death paralyzes most victims in fear. The Death God moves his clawed arm into the chest of the victim without causing any physical wounds and starts to slowly pull out the victim’s soul. The victim does not feel any physical pain, but still screams as the very essence of life leaves him/her and then has to watch as the Death God devours the soul. The technique can leave psychological damage on the victim and can only be restored by a skilled jounin healer. However, if the technique is used on an opponent of two ranks below the jutsu -- or even further below that -- if not Kai'd out by another before the effect takes place, the jutsu will cause a heart attack... and they will die. The XX - B Eye-contact. Powerful ability; disarming to an extent. This is almost, essentially, a lower-level version of "Never Say No". The Samara will speak into your mind, whisper to you, butter you up. Their voice will be more powerful and compelling than anything you've ever heard. This will allow them to make two battle decisions for you. These can only be one of three things: attack X target with Y jutsu (can't be more than 1 rank higher than "The XX") cancel X jutsu (chakra won't be refunded), or do basically nothing for the next post.
Since Samara can stack genjutsu on people and use them spontaneously later, generally the best usage for the XX is after-the-fact. So, use it during a peaceful moment, then force them to cancel a bunch of techniques while in an actual battle.
Because Riri wouldn't even know he was in a genjutsu thanks to the whole genjutsu class thing, and the fact that he cant kai out of genjutsu because OP Samara doesn't let him, and the fact that the jutsu is an auto hit with no triggers, Aurum would kill riri with one SS rank auto kill jutsu because that isn't unfair or anything...yeah Riri dies of a heart attack.

As his opponent succumbed and died to the heart attack, Aurum smiled slightly. He was getting used to his new found abilities. Smiling at Bentley, he wished him luck before leaving the Arena where the first part of the exams were taking place. [exit]
