Voldo walks into the Arena. He was instructed not to use puppets. Which in all honesty he was fine with. He made sure to Check in his puppet scrolls in with the proctors upon entering.
HIs sliver eyes gaze up at the audience as he stands in his feathered cape as he smirks prepared to give it his all. He wouldnt hold back as that menacing demonic aura he emitted filled the arena. He wanted to let everyone know his intent as he grins wickedly. He had a stretegy placed in his head. Licking his lips as he waited for his opponent.
He wasnt sure whom his opponent would be who ever it was clearly had to be a puppet user. Which meant they would be at a disadvantage without such weapons. However knowing that He kept most of his jutsu to himself he would assume that they would have to rely on medical and long range ninjutsu. Not being versed in taijutsu was the only downside to being a puppet weilder. But the question remained what jutsu to expect and how to counter. Thankfully Voldo had several ideas on how to deal with the disadvantage of not having puppets. It was down to this, he couldnt hold back this time everything was on the line.

Clop... clop... clop... The steady sound sounds of heels hitting the tiles before they became muffled by the ground, would announce the most beautiful of male's to enter.He had heard of the rules that were stipulated against him and though he held confidence in his abilities, he wasn't so confident given that he was usually a support-based person. Having revolutionary medical surgery skills and other skills that make him an essential component in a team, Rose was valuable to those he chose to offer his services to. But it seemed like now, Rose had to prove his worth outside of his main skill. An interesting thing that, Rose understood needed to be met for anyone becoming a Sannin.
As he came into the arena itself, Rose batted his thick lashes in surprise to who was on the other side. Voldo. Team mate against team mate? Now this was rather evil. But he would smile sweetly to Voldo, "Salut mon ami. I 'ate that ve 'ave to fight... zo... let le vest person vin, oui?" Rose said respectfully to his friend and the beginning of the match to being as he readied his chakra.
Voldo smiles seeing His friend enter. This would inteed be a test to see who had the most conviction. He smiles weaving hand signs as he spoke. "My dear Rose, please dont hold back now" With those words the arena is filled with a thick fog as Voldo smirks his chakra spiking as he weaves more hand signs. HIs strategy falling into place. This battle had bee thoroughly planned for through his training. He had honed his techniques to their sharpest edge to eliminate an opponent. Rose was no acception, he would use the most ruthless techniques he had to finish this match.
Thousands of tiny rods poke up from the ground as he smirks stepping back in the fog watching rose with his Mist Vision Technique. He smirks the feild set as the tiny rods charge with static. "dont hold back now" He smirks And exhales a massive clouds of steam into the already thick mist. HOwevere this fog will have more than meets the eye as it starts eating at anything it touches while Voldo stands unaffected.
*Kirigakure no Jutsu (Hidden Mist Technique) Description: A highly effective cover technique which blankets an area in a thick mist, confusing the senses of the enemy. Unless the user is trained to fight without the use of his vision, or has learned the technique to see through the mist, this doesn't not provide a significant combat advantage. The mist swirls about, confusing vision and distorting sound. Visibility is cut down to three feet. The mist lasts for 3 posts, plus an additional post for every 10 points in Reserves the user has. It is important to note that this mist is non-natural, and obstructs the view of even those using low level techniques (stage 3 or lower) to attempt to see through it.
*Doton: Thunder current Diversion Description: Allows the user to fire a shower array of earth spikes which shall generate a static current. This current arcs toward users using lightning nature chakra disrupting it for five minutes, preventing the use of lightning jutsu. Add five more minutes for each level under the user's level. (2posts, 2 posts more for each level lower than the user)
*Koumu no Jutsu - Skilled Mist Technique 30 chakra Futton • Koumu no Jutsu is a Ninjutsu technique utilizing the Boil Element. To utilize this technique, Mizukage must first focus her chakra into her throat. She will then emit an acidic fog from her mouth, which is capable of melting and burning away her target. This technique is powerful enough to partially melt away the bones of Susanoo. Because the fog can affect everyone around her, Mizukage will try to maneuver her opponent into an area away from comrades. Should the fog escape its confinement, she can reduce its effectiveness and neutralize the acid.
Rose's full lips curled into a smile as he shook his head, "Ah non mon ami. 'eet vould not ve a good attempted victory 'eef I vent easy, no?" Rose would say as his smile lessened once he saw that Voldo take the first move to attack and began to concentrate on seeing an opponent and not a teammate.
First thing he noticed was Voldo starting to weave hand seals and result was the mist of Kiri being summoned to swarm throughout the stadium. To the less trained fans, they would see nothing, hear nothing, even feel nothing but the saturated mist that now blanketed them. Nothing like being in the environs of his hoe. Rose didn't even blink, or rather need to, for him to have the passive ability of the "Mist Vision" technique to activate. Most Mist shinobi learn it from the start, and seeing as it was indeed on of the techniques he was very familiar with, his ruby eyes pierced through the Mist as easily as they always have to keep sight of Voldo. But the techniques he wasn't familiar with occurred after when spikes started to sprout out from the ground. His eyes noticed the chakra spreading throughout the ground before spikes erupting from the earth and disrupting his raiton chakra flow. Almost as if it were restraining it. "Interesting way to start...". Using his eyes as a way to perceive where they were to sprout their points from the ground, he would dodge and make efforts to close in on distance before looking up and seeing Voldo release another mist saturated in his chakra.. but the elemental chakra signature of it was different than that which was within the mist. "Is this one of his other mist techniques?" Rose thought before reaching into his elegant kimono and giggling.
"Zou zhouldn't underestimate me mon ami. It might turn out vad for zou." He said as he pulled out four specialized kunai and tossed them forward in a very precise fashion, at precise times between each throw, and precise angles as elegantly as he could The kunai would travel the distance between himself and the secondary "mist" that Voldo had spread. Given the size of the stadium, Rose wasn't too concerned about the Mist reaching him, but he wouldn't take any chances as the kunais hit their target.. themselves.
Two for the four kunais smacked in into each other and rebounded horizontally while the last two went vertical. Of course, the bottom kunai of the vertically angled pair, was sent straight to the ground some distance from Voldo's and a few inches from the mist closing in on it. But the upper kunai of the vertical was sent skyward in a diagonal angle to fly at least ten feet at an angle of roughly more than a forty five angle to soar right over Voldo.. Wasting no time as he continued moving forward to keep the distance optimum for his own attack, Rose would form one seal, release chakra then a series of seals where upon he'd send chakra to the ground. The first seal was simple. It initiated the chakra explosive tag that landed a few inches before the mist. It's duty was to distract, cause confusion, and reduce Voldo's line of sight; his piercing eyes however, would never lose their impeccable focus. As debris and the hopeful force of the explosive tag disrupt the liquid molecules of that secondary mist Voldo created, he would assume Voldo would do two things. Either stand and be baffled or make an attempt to move. Which in fact led to the reasoning for the actual seals being made. As his charka was sent to the ground, a three foot hand composed of the earth of the stadium would attempt to grab Voldo by the calf muscle to Achilles tendon in an attempt to catch him should he attempt move away. Intending to hinder his movement from Rose's true attack which has yet to be revealed; and given the quick nature of the jutsu he hoped that it would hold success at at least making Voldo stumble where he stood.
By this time Rose's kunais would've traveled the distance that would make their "return" lethal. With a wickedly sweet smile upon his face, Rose made an odd come hither gesture as his ruby eyes glowed like hot coals in fire. Using his enhanced visibility, Rose's manicured hands moved once in a beckoning motion while the outer fingers would flick inwards. What was done, was he utilized kugujutsu by attaching chakra strings to the tips of the kunai's, and as they reached a certain distance within Voldo's outer radius, he'd change their course by directing them to hit Voldo from the left and right. The one kunai that was tossed from above, served only one purpose. To fall straight down to the ground. If it hit Voldo right in the skull then it was a victory but that wasn't it's true purpose. The true purpose was to land a bit behind Voldo, since gauging the distance of the kunai traveling far enough above Voldo and stopping it after performing his jutsu to land upon Voldo accurately would take some intensely heavy skill; but having it land at least a decent distance behind him seemed quite a bit more probable. Where upon it would secure Rose's full purpose to utilizing such mundane utensils and making them hold problematic results. Each kunai was strapped with an explosive tag awaiting his chakra-flare to activate it. To the left and right were kunai's coming in at a pincer position to strike Voldo to the sides of his body. His front and back would be secured by the kunais that were intentionally were made to miss him. Leaving him very few directions to go to escape the force of the explosive tags; additionally if his initial technique of the hand springing out from the ground wasn't reasonably evaded, it would further limit the time he had to make a response.
Voldo had already planned out this possible tactic from rose. Sensing that Rose would attemt to restrict him into one place was the most obvious move knowing that he wouldnt have much chance with Voldo running about. with a smirk he weaves a hand sign seeign the earth shift with the mist vision technique. Voldo spits lava from his mouth as it forms up into a wall hardening instantly, the earthan hand crashing into it as Voldo makes his escape backward The exploding Kunai upon detonation was another issue as they dispersed his acid mist however he smirks upon seeing more kunai but upon his vanishing the kunai strike where he used to be as Voldo smirks. "No games Ill make you suffer" He knew these diversionary tactics would force him to split his focus, and it wont work now. He would have to pull out all his stops to finish this quickly. The several kunai, the ground assault. Rose was impressivly coming up with tactics but unfortunately it wasnt going to work for long. Using his terumi abilities he forces the scattered acid mist to reform back into the stadium. The hissing sound of the acid eatiung away at srufaces gave sign that his jutsu wasnt to be trifled. And the 3rd degree burns Rose would soon suffer inside and out was going to be even more horrific he he didnt find a better solution to escape. If Voldo gave him even that chance.
Upon these words the cloak he always wore moves and astonishly unfurls to reveal two wings of raven black feathers as he takes to the sky hovering above the stadium. with s deep inhale ha exhales another wave of mist down on the stadium the acid searing down on everything as voldo smirks weaving signs as he exhals a cloud of smoke as well down onto the stadium laced with poison to imobilize anyone who inhaled it.

• Biransei no Jutsu (Poison Gas Technique) Description: Technique creates a cloud of poisonous gas that erupts from the ninja’s mouth in a stream. The cloud clears a distance between the ninja and their enemy, as not to capture the ninja himself within its area of effect. Any enemy caught within its area of effect will succumb to the poison’s effects. (symptoms: 3minutes after inhilation limbs become numb, 6 minutes whole body is paralyzed for 10 minutes)
• Lava Element: Molten Defense 20 chakra The user will first channel chakra into their stomach, changing it into the lava element. Then, by expelling the lava directly in front of them, the user will solidify it that instant to create a solid defense as hard as steel. This solidified form of lava will provide a very sturdy defense capable of blocking attacks of its rank and below.
abilities-
• Wings of Hermes Passive The user extends their wings and takes flight, their able to glide and hover with these wings but it does nothing to their speed. These wings can defend against your rank and less techniques, but defending against your rank in technique strength will cause you to be grounded for a post for the wings to recover. You ARE able to defend against a one rank higher attack with the wings, but this destroys the wings afterwards. If the wings are destroyed, it takes three posts for the wings to regenerate.
