Aeryn snorted when Cian's girlfriend acted like he'd just woken out of a year long coma. Leave it to her to be way too dramatic. Cian cracked another joke, causing the youngest in the room to groan. "You din't even get them near anyone. You hit yourself. Twice. Maybe you need more practice." She stuck her tongue out at her brother, thinking he was lucky they had magical healers rather than the slow (and boring) hospital they were used to visiting as kids. If only all medicine was that quick.

★✩ECHO ANGHARAD WELLBELOVEseventh year || Slytherin || halfblood Daily Dragon managing editor || Quidditch seeker || Order of the Stick lancer _______________ After flying most of the way, the two Slytherin girls finally got to the Hospital Wing. They probably could have just gotten a stretcher, which probably would half helped Brianna's leg more, but that had only occurred to her halfway there, and by then she was stubbornly committed if Brianna herself didn't bring it up.
Echo did a double-take around the room as she walked into the hospital wing. The last couple times she'd been here had been to visit Milan. Galen had also constantly been in after his dramatic fall during the game-they-did-not-need-to-speak-of. Skyla Byrnes had been in and out a lot as well.
Echo settled herself in a chair next to Brianna's bed. She tested her shoulder gently. It still stung, but it was probably just a bruise. They hadn't exchanged more than a couple words on the way here, but finally Echo spoke up bitterly. "At least we put on a show. Panem et circences and all that."
_______________ setting Just after Game 1 2059-60, Hospital Wing. || with Brianna appearance 5'9”, slim || wearing Slytherin quidditch uniform statusWhy do I still play this stupid sport? _______________//OOC: Tagging Gryffie for Marni, but whichever nurse is fine! _______________ And I-I-I can't stop No, I-I-I can't stop So, baby, pull me closer In the back seat of your Rover That I know you can't afford Bite that tattoo on your shoulder ✩★~"Closer" by the Chainsmokers. Brianna Cathaline Quinn-Smith Slytherin │ Fourth Year │ Fourteen Years Old │ Single
By the time they reached the Hospital Wing, Brianna’s injured leg was throbbing in time to the beat of her heart, while her wrapped up left arm merely ached in the same way a tooth might. She gritted her teeth, and was determined to tough it out rather than provide any indication she was little more than discomforted. Pain and injuries was an integral to the game as were Quaffles, Snitches and Bludgers…especially the Bludgers, and crying about injuries was as pointless as complaining about how small the Snitch was.
‘I’ve been in this place way too often,’ reflected Brianna, as she finally was able to lay down in a bed, after shedding her Quidditch robes, and other gear. Just moving her injured leg nearly caused her vision to go double, but she managed to pull her shoes and socks off before collapsing on the spotless white sheets. ‘Matron will freak when she sees I’ve done some of my own work, but that beats having my arm throbbing too while I’m flying.’
She heard the bitterness in Echo’s voice, and said, revealing the level of acrimony she felt in her own tone, “Yeah, we put on a show all right, for all the good it did us. Panem et circenses. At least we get to miss the post mortem downstairs. Who are we kidding? This season’s a dumpster fire looking for a match.” She didn’t envy the task Daphne had before her: pulling this squad back together after this match.
"And you can't fight the tears that ain't coming Or the moment of truth in your lies When everything feels like the movies Yeah, you bleed just to know you're alive."
"And I don't want the world to see me 'Cause, I don't think that they'd understand When everything's made to be broken I just want you to know who I am "

Kasamir Aloysius Patrovna Slytherin │ Fourth Year │ Fourteen Years Old │ Single │ Beater
Seeing how Hes was moving about, Kas knew she was in a lot of pain, and that her leg was broken. Putting any kind of weight on that leg was out of the question, and he would need to carry Hes up to the castle. Using his wand, he sent his broomstick back over to where his Quidditch bag was left on the sidelines. If worse came to worse he’d come back out here to collect his and Hes’ gear, assuming one of their teammates wasn’t nice enough to help them out. He then cast a quick Strength Enhancement Charm on himself before slipping his wand back in the protective sleeve he kept it in.
When Hes asked him to, and being as careful as he could be, Kas scooped Hes up in his arms, hoping he wouldn’t cause her further pain. “Of course, moya dorogaya,” he said to her, as he took up her weight in his arms, and leaned his head towards hers. “I’ll get you back to the castle. Up to the Hospital Wing, anywhere you like. I’ll carry you to the ends of the Earth if you wished it.”
*******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************
By the time Kas carried Hes up to the Hospital Wing, he was feeling the strain of taking up her weight in his arms, shoulders and down through his back. Though the Charm he cast certainly aided him, it didn’t negate her weight, and whatever pain he might be feeling was nothing compared to what Hes was already suffering, and he took care not to let on he was in any discomfort at all.
As gently as he was able, Kas placed Hes on one of the beds, doing as much as he could not to cause the bones in her broken leg to shift and cause her further discomfort. Once he set Hes down, Kas grabbed a couple spare pillows so he could set one behind her head and shoulders, while the other he carefully slid under her injured leg. Sitting down on a chair beside her, Kas gave Hes a smile and held out his hand for her to hold if she wished. “I’ll bring dinner up here later. What are you in the mood for?”
