When I was hired back in February at the assisted living facility as a Weekend Receptionist, we filled out a questionnaire on what activities we would be interested in assisting with. About a month or so ago, our new Activities director (who's been there for a couple months now) came up to me asking what cosplay and conventions were. Together we came up with the idea of possibly taking a group of interested residents to the local anime convention.

We finally have settled our plans: we will be going for one day and taking possibly three of the younger residents (who are the same age range as me). They've been quite excited about the whole thing and keep coming up to me asking what I'm going to be dressing up as, what to expect, and other related geeky things. I'm looking forward to seeing what costumes they decide on.
