The power company trimmed them, so they'd be off the lines, but...
It was choppy. The trees have been trimmed so badly it feels painful just looking at them in this state. sweatdrop I wanted them trimmed, but not like this.
Never thought I'd feel pain for a tree, much less a bunch of them...

In our area for the past 10 or so years, instead of trimming them with clippers like they used to, they've resorted to just using their mower arm to "trim" them. It looks terrible right after they've been by - the branch ends shredded to pieces. The trees always seem to bounce right back though.

the power company chopped down our lovely ancient maple, it was huge but still healthy
no permission
and no compensation either
