■ OPEN-MINDED Alby doesn't really see the point of staying in just one grey area when there's a whole colorful expanse waiting to be explored. He's willing to try just about anything once, some of them only once.
■ WILLFUL To go along with being open-minded, he has a lot of will for just about anything. Not to say he's brave, because he can assure you he's not braver than the average seventy year old, but that if there's something he wants to do or see or try then there's no point in ignoring it and hoping the desire goes away. Might as well try it and grab the bull by the horns.
■ IMAGINATIVE From a young age Alby's had quite the imagination and it's only grown since then. Now instead of trips into outer space in wagons and finding treasure in the back gardens he uses his creative nature to learn random skills and hobbies that he thinks or thought at the time are interesting.
■ NAIVE Being the youngest of four sons, its a rather huge thing that he's been sheltered as much as he had. Dirty jokes escape him and slightly appall him and since being so open-minded it's taught him to rather keep a clear mind about a lot of ideas. So he's just clear minded at all times.
■ CLUMSY Alby has literally never made it more than a week since learning to walk without some sort of falling or slipping action. Since discovering that muggles have designs on their stickies unlike the magic ones (he never liked those they tend to smell) he is now seen to sport multiple different colored and designed ones on random cuts and bruises much to his parents' consternation.
■ ASTUTE Despite his naivity, he's still quite intelligent and loves learning and reading in all shapes and forms. Hands on, through instruction, through non-instructed hands on, he loves it all!

CHILDHOOD Alby is the youngest Callaghan son with three much older brothers. The eldest being nineteen at his birth with his own fiance at his side. The Callaghan's are a rather forgotten Irish pureblood family since they had been neutral during the time of the Dark Lord and since thought of as rather weak by the others. Despite the fact that they retained most of their wealth and status in the wake of the Dark Lord's defeat while the rest had to scramble to keep theirs. But that's neither here nor there. Alby was formed and born much to the surprise of his steadily aging parents and was mainly raised by his older brothers and their wives rather than his parents as they much preferred quiet retirement than an active toddler. But of course, as time will tell, one by one had their own families and couldn't quite make the time for their younger brother like they did so he was left alone to his own activities. And the house elves of course but really, they only partially counted. So he took to slowly examining and venturing out into the muggle town his family manor lived just outside of and one day he came across a truly wondrous thing: a cinema. He hadn't had any muggle money but that hadn't stopped the curious seven year old from finding a way in and watching his very first movie. It had been a musical and honestly he couldn't tell you a thing about it if you asked because he was much too enthralled with the fact that these pictures on the screen could move and sing and talk and dance and it was just way wayy too much for his small mind to handle. So he ventured to his home library and, much to his shock, it held little to nothing of muggle invention. Once again he traipsed to the muggle town and visited their library and learned all he could about the telly and musicals and movies and the like. It was actually there two years later he found a flier for a free children's chorus and eagerly signed up imagining all the singing he had heard and seen in the movies and the small library he had hidden away from his home (he learned after his first one broke rather spectacularly that magic and electricity didn't really like one another). However after joining he realized that they didn't sing the songs he had wanted or even particularly liked, but he got to sing so it wasn't completely worthless. His parents hadn't been too thrilled that their son had been taken in by the wiles of the muggle world but much like his early childhood had been too apathetic to really want to change his ways. Besides, he was the youngest, his eldest brother had already taken over the family seats and dealings and he already had a son of his own. So, really, he wasn't all that needed. Which was fine since it just gave him freer reign. At least until he attended Hogwarts.
SCHOOL YEARS
FIRST YEAR Alby's first step into Hogwarts was dripping wet as he had slipped and fallen into the lake after climbing out the boat. Thankfully only the waist down was sopping wet and professor had dried him before he was sorted. He was placed in Ravenclaw which wasn't bad seeing as his family was rather split between that and Slytherin and happily took his place in the house of learning. For all of two months he was happy learning his ways around the castle and all his classes until he contracted Spattergroit and had to be bedridden the remainder of his first year. Thankfully he was able to complete all his work and do his final exams from the hospital wing but still, completely horrid start of a educational series.
SECOND YEAR Was much better as far as the friend route. He actually made a few good acquaintances at the welcoming feast but his first real friend came in the guise of a first year named Mercy who overheard his lamentations over missing a movie premiere. A very good one if the pre-pre-trailers had said anything about it! They very quickly became friendly and could be seen having conversations/rantings about their favorite pop culture.
THIRD YEAR He's no closer to actually telling Tiernan how he felt but on the bright side he wasn't any farther either? And she really liked the parasol he made her so that had to mean something. Also all his electives are pretty great.
FOURTH YEAR Will go down in history as the best and worst year of his life. First his bratty elder nephew started as a first year and was horridly enough sorted into the same house as he was and spent virtually the first few months trying to make Alby's life a complete living hell. And he almost succeeded had he not gone after Tiernan while in his company and finally, the older teen snapped. He both verbally and physically assaulted the idiot pre-teen leaving him with a black eye and did not look forward to what his repercussion would be once he was at home. He was of course given the silent treatment by all during the winter holidays, like that was new.
FIFTH YEAR Alby spent a good part of the summer (that wasn't spent fixing up his new abode) studying for his OWL's as well as a decent part of the school year as well. Since passing them to his extreme satisfaction, he's looking forward to a relaxing summer before the start of next term. And of course enjoying watching his girlfriend continually charm the house elves.
SIXTH YEAR Was rather nerve-wracking as he was in charge of music club this year and beginning his NEWT classes. However, the theater club had been restarted and he had been cast as the male lead! That had been pretty awesome!
SEVENTH YEAR His last year was pretty hectic between theater club, music club, the drama between Tiernan and her family and all while studying for his NEWT's. Luckily though in between all that he managed to propose to his girlfriend at the beautiful scenic view of the Whomping Willow.
POST GRADUATION Alby officially moved out from the estates, and by officially meaning he finally managed to get his personal house elf to come with him. His father was still rather ill but had yet to change his will leaving him nothing. That mattered little to him since he still had his trust vault and the vault all Callaghan children received after graduating which his mother could do nothing about. He hadn't really touched his trust vault all that much besides school supplies and yarn so he had just enough money left over for him to begin and start his business. He's going to wait until Mercy's graduated to start marketing but he can at least get a year of trial and error under his belt.
In the Spring of 2041, Alby married Tiernan in a beautiful garden wedding with all of their friends and family in attendance. Some a bit happier to be there than others. Like it really mattered.

■ CHEERFUL Most quickly notice how happy Tiernan always seems to be; she's generally optimistic no matter the mood around her. She tends to think the best of everything and everyone, and she's quite extroverted and friendly, even to perfect strangers. Of course, cheeriness doesn't always equal contentment, as she is quick to admit. As bubbly as she tends to be, she is also constantly on the move, looking for something new to make her happy.
■ INQUISITIVE Tiernan is constantly asking questions about everyone and everything. There are no limits to her curiosity, and she can be quite tactless about it. She always wants to know more, to learn more, not for any practical, concrete reasons, but just so she can fill her head up with new information about the world around her. Eager to hear about anything, she's inclined to gossip and to wild theories, which always makes things interesting.
■ ELOQUENT Tiernan can be very persuasive, especially because of how smoothly she can phrase things. Language is one of her talents, be it English, parseltongue, or writing. She's extremely articulate for her age and rarely at a loss for words. Because of this adults tend to find her very charming, and it only encourages her more. She speaks so seriously and earnestly it can be hard not to want to believe her, even if she isn't making any logical sense.
■ CONTRARY Tiernan does not enjoy being ordered about and isn't above doing the exact opposite of what she was told or 'mishearing' things. She does love a good back and forth debate and as such is inclined to disagree, and to prod at others until they give her something to gleefully respond to. If she doesn't get her way she's inclined to not cooperate, and isn't above wrecking other people's plans purely out of perverse spite.
■ DISSATISFIED Never satisfied with her lot in life, Tiernan always wants more, more, more. More of what, it depends on the situation, but she is always restless, never fully at ease with herself or her surroundings. Tiernan truly believes things could always be better, and she's not willing to settle for anything less. Despite her optimistic outlook she's always yearning for things just out of her reach, and unwilling to stop trying to get them.
■ UNREALISTIC Tiernan's expectations will always exceed reality. Rational as she is, she's not one for practicalities, and her head is, if not in the clouds, never quite on the same plane of existence as everyone else. She thinks big, and rarely does anything truly match what she really wants. Unfortunately, this often leaves her disappointed, but she's quick to bounce back. Tiernan is an idealist who knows the ideal will never be the real.

CHILDHOOD Tiernan Yaxley is the second child and middle triplet born to Shirley and Blair Yaxley. She displayed both signs of magic and parseltongue before her first birthday, and has consequently been spoiled rotten since day one, as a member of a very proper, very wealthy pureblooded family. A cheerful, curious child, Tiernan grew up spending her days attending ballet and piano and etiquette lessons, getting up to mischief with her sisters, and throwing tea parties for her beloved snakes, Byron and Emily. Tiernan truly believes she is a princess, and princesses always get what they want, no matter what. Always. She doesn't stray into the muggle village as often as her sisters, but most of her family's teachings on purity seem to go in one ear and out the other, and Tiernan has little concern for much but her garden and her snakes.
SCHOOL YEARS
FIRST YEAR Tiernan's first year, while all in all, satisfactory, did not exactly go according to plan. Unlike her two sisters, Tiernan wasn't sorted into Slyttherin but into Ravenclaw. Given her personality, this wasn't shocking- what was shocking for the girl was the fact that for the first time in her life she was separated from her triplets, her best friends. Being apart from them, although they still spent plenty of time together, forced her out of her comfort zone, and into the realm of reality- just slightly. Despite this setback, she still did enjoy her time at Hogwarts, although she somewhat dreaded having to reveal her house to her parents when she came home for the summer holiday.
SECOND YEAR Tiernan's parents did not take the news of her Sorting well, and constantly compared her to her sisters as she headed into her second year. She tried not to take any of it to heart, but couldn't help but feel like the proverbial weak link of the triplets, although she knew Darian didn't even think of herself as a Slytherin to begin with. Having managed to make some friends, she tried to spend much of her time with them, and she also joined Fencing Club, the one her cousin Ashley had begun. When her friend Reyna proposed they venture into the Forbidden Forest, Tiernan declined the invitation, claiming she was 'too beautiful to die young'. She later learned that they'd been caught, and that Glynn, for reasons unbeknownst to her, had attempted to get himself killed during it.
THIRD YEAR Tiernan's third year was very quiet; she was busy with new elective classes, as well as extracurriculars such as fencing. She did become closer friends with a fellow Ravenclaw from a pureblood family similar to her own, Alby, and quickly caught on that the boy had developed a crush on her. She reciprocated, but she wasn't about to let on that quickly, and decided it was probably best to just wait things out and see if he ever worked up the nerve.
FOURTH YEAR Tiernan found her fourth year rather romantic, given the fact that she and Alby grew closer and that he dramatically forced his rude nephew to apologize to her after the younger boy berated her in the Great Hall. She accepted his invitation to a date and invited him to visit her over the winter break. By the end of the year, they were happily dating, although Tiernan still didn't really like the word. It seemed a bit crass.
FIFTH YEAR Tiernan spent the year studying for her OWLs when she wasn't snogging her boyfriend, although she was never very worried about her scores. She was more worried about her parents, their treatment of her sisters, and her mother's constant hinting at 'wedding planning'.
SIXTH YEAR Tiernan spent the year preparing for her NEWTs, ignoring her parents' letters, snogging her boyfriend, and trying to comfort her friends, one of whom had recently lost a parent and another who seemed deeply depressed.
SEVENTH YEAR Over the summer Rowan ran away from home, and Tiernan, feeling betrayed by her sister neglecting to tell her or Darian her plans, moved in with Alby. Darian tagged along as well, having nowhere else to go at the moment. She enjoyed her seventh year, despite the stress of upcoming NEWTs, and was overjoyed when Alby proposed to her at the end of the year.
POST GRADUATION After graduating from Hogwarts, Tiernan began a career as a herbologist and married Alby. Naturally, it was an outdoor wedding.
