■ ADVENTUROUS For Alec, life is an adventure. He enjoys experiencing new things and taking chances, even if it means he might get into some trouble. He may not *enjoy* learning, but he is naturally curious, and the natural world around him is infinitely more interesting than any dusty old textbook or droning professor. There's not much he'll say no to or shy from. Better to try than not to try at all, right? Even if he embarrasses himself.
■ ASSERTIVE He's not the slightest bit shy or timid, even around perfect strangers, and he sees those who are more quiet or reserved as a personal challenge. He talks fast and energetically, often barely pausing for breath, or to think about what he's saying. Careful and deliberate Alec is not. He sees no point in being subtle or passive aggressive, and typically says exactly what's on his mind the moment it occurs to him.
■ RECKLESS Alec is a risk taker, and usually doesn't stop to wonder what the consequences of say, balancing on the landing banister might be if he falls. He typically doesn't stop to consider the consequences of his actions, because, after all, what's life without a little excitement? Right? He often comes across as in a rush, and frequently leaves messes in his wake.

■ OBLIVIOUS For someone from a famously Slytherin family, Alec is fairly oblivious. CHILDHOOD Alec is the youngest child of the only child of the second son of the patriarch of the Avery clan. The product of an arranged marriage, he was a relief to his parents, as they finally had a male child, an heir, five years after his older sister Sera was born. While not as wealthy as other pureblood families, Alec has enjoyed an upper middle class upbringing with many perks of its own, and he's had a happy enough childhood thus far, although the incarceration of some family members had made their surname a bit of a laughingstock and a disgrace. Growing up there was a fair share of tension between him and his elder sister, as he was the favored male child who consumes most of the attention of the adults, but distance makes the heart grow fonder, and he and his sister are a little closer now than they used to be, although they still frequently bicker. Alec despised his charms school, and gave his teachers and sometimes his parents their fair share of grief with his wild behavior. For the first time in his life he is attempting to be on his best behavior, as he had been looking forward to attending Hogwarts for years now.

SCHOOL YEARS

FIRST YEAR Alec's first year was horrifying, at least at the start, as he was sorted into Gryffindor and not Slytherin. But despite his initial outrage over where the house had placed him, he privately admitted that he seemed very well-suited to the house, and he did manage to make one friend, an opinionated, bold girl named Lucy. He also felt slightly indebted to his sister, who defended him to his furious parents when they came home for the summer.
SECOND YEAR After a terrible summer, Alec began his second year with a simmering resentment for his parents and their 'Avery legacy'. He didn't much care if being in Gryffindor made him a terrible heir; from now on he was going to do as he liked. He tried out for quidditch and became a reserve chaser, and mostly looked forward to being able to choose electives next year, as well as enter Hogsmeade on weekends.
THIRD YEAR Alec didn't do much his third year besides start his electives, which he enjoyed very much, play Quidditch, get into trouble with Lucy and Garnet, get out of trouble with Lucy and Garnet, and develop a crush on Lucy, which he remained very much in denial of.
FOURTH YEAR Alec got together with Lucy, much to his surprise and delight, and spent far too much time sneaking around snogging when he should have been studying or doing homework. He also rebuffed his parents's passive aggressive attempts to set him up with fellow disgraced purebloods, much to their frustration.
FIFTH YEAR Alec started the year knowing he was basically disowned, and toughed it out to study for his OWLs,
although snogging newly prefect Lucy helped relieve some of his stress.
SIXTH YEAR Alec enjoyed the break from exams and tried to focus on his girlfriend and quidditch (in that order). Even if the team played miserably.There was also the fact that he was now an uncle to Evangeline, his new niece. As much as he couldn't stand her father, he did offer his babysitting services.
SEVENTH YEAR Alec spent most of the year studying, albeit very reluctantly, and dreading graduating, not because he had no plans but because he didn't feel ready to be a 'real adult' yet. Fortunately, he did well enough on his NEWTs, and so was a bit more confident as he graduated.

POST GRADUATION Alec promptly applied to be a cursebreaker for Gringotts upon graduating. After starting their new careers, he and Lucy finally moved in together, much to their mutual satisfaction. (He also started looking at rings, unbeknownst to her).

■ INTELLIGENT I tend to try and appear more mature than my age. I pick my battles wisely-or at least based on what I figure is worth arguing about or not. At times I can be quick-witted and quite candid. I also have become quite talented with playing the piano and have a good ear for music.
■ STUDIOUS I enjoy reading. Some might call me quite the bookworm. I generally have my books memorized due to readying them more than once. I’ve always been at the top of my classes from my years in preparatory, preparatory school, and my time in Hogwarts. However, I can come off fairly often as a know-it-all (or an arrogant prat, as my peers tend to point out), and have very little patience for illogical behavior.
■ PERFECTIONIST I’ve generally immersed myself completely in academics. Which, I do excel in. Though, I do not accept less than perfection from myself. As such I avoid things I do poorly such as cooking in the kitchen. Though, my determination for perfection helped me to excel with learning the piano while in school.
■ AMBITIOUS For most of my life I’ve dreamed about being a world renown healer. It didn’t take long into my schooling for me to decide on specializing in magical diseases. CHILDHOOD My parents are both from pureblood families. The difference between the two is that my father was a squib and the League Family had a bit of a less questionable history than the Avery family. The Leagues did not disown their Squib son and gave him the resources to succeed utilizing his own intellect in the Muggle world and as a Muggle. There eventually, my father became a Muggle plastic surgery. Eventually he met a witch, eight years his junior he had known when he was younger, who had been sorted into Slytherin. My father Sinclair did not recognize Cara Avery when she was an adult just out of Hogwarts. He believed Cara was a muggle and the two started dating. He was her childhood crush. She had pulled a very elaborate bolstering of her story of being a muggle. Eventually Cara and Sinclair married which was when Cara told her husband she was actually a witch and knew who he was all along.

I was their first child and began to show signs of magic at an early age. My father reluctantly accepted that someday I would go on to Hogwarts - the school he could never attend. In the meanwhile, my parents enrolled me in one of the most prestigious pre-preparatory and preparatory schools in all of England.

SCHOOL YEARS
Not in Slytherin, you say?
Hmm, I could see you doing well there.
But if you are sure, then it had better be...
Ravenclaw!

Once sorted into Ravenclaw - partially due to my adamant feelings in not wanting to be placed into Slytherin - I had successfully annoyed most of my classmates and peers. I claimed to be 'most hated Ravenclaw' and argued that I had more Slytherin traits than Ravenclaw. Regardless, I had slightly mellowed out in personality, started dating a Gryffindor in my year, and was named the Conditional Second Heir of the Avery Family and must follow to a set list of restrictions and rules in regards to that position.

During the summer before my 6th year I chose to take the last name of Avery accepting the name for myself as future (conditional) heir of the Avery family.

The summer before my last year at Hogwarts was eventful to say the least. While I got permission from Leonette Mitchell's father, my girlfriend since before my fourth year at Hogwarts, to marry Leonette, and Leonette (thankfully) said yes, there was a bleak note to my summer as well. My mother was murdered protecting an albino muggle-born from some insane blood purist (and I had a good idea who that may be, but had the grace not to mention such and not to give any hint to my sister Cathy). I had returned to my father's home for the last couple weeks of that summer from my own home in Greenwich, a gift I received for a combination of my 17th birthday and Christmas the previous year, to help my father with Leah and arrangements.

POST GRADUATION
Summer of 2030: At Hogsmeade Station before I could board the train, Neo-Deatheaters attacked at random. I stayed to help heal various people and luckily managed to escape without any major injuries to note, beyond my fiancée’s younger sister Grace being injured and having to spend the first couple weeks of the summer in the hospital, I could say I had a good summer. My application to St. Mungo's to work as a healer specializing in magical diseases was approved and I started my training as a healer, and more importantly (in my opinion) I was wed to Leonette during the summer at the Avery Manor.

A little less than a year into my marriage with Leonette, I received the exciting news of Leonette being with child. Though it wasn't exactly planned or necessarily expected this early, I was thrilled. Very much the doting father already I constantly talked about the child my wife was expecting, despite the occasional judgmental look I received from Tanya who felt I may be rushing into things. Though, having planned my life since before I was six, and to include children, I merely feel that my adult life is going as expected.

Autumn of 2031: My father was murdered leaving me to become the guardian of both of my sisters. Cathy planned to move out to the League family home in London when she graduated. Soon after the death of my father I welcomed my first born son Christopher.

After attending Tanya and Echo's wedding on October 31, 2032 Leo and I discussed to have baby number two. Sure enough we were pregnant not long after. Our baby girl Jessica was born a couple weeks early but still healthy. It would certainly be busy around our home for a while, now that Christopher has begun running around the house and attempting to climb everything in sight.

My sister Leah started at Hogwarts September 1st 2038. She was sorted into Ravenclaw like myself and I expect great things from her. During the spring of 2039 Leo's cousin Chloe got married. Then that summer after the wedding her aunt and uncle were murdered. I was there for Leo mostly. 2043 rolled around and my son Christopher found himself attending Hogwarts as well. He followed in his mother's footsteps. Jessica will follow along next year.

■ SKEPTICAL Since losing both my parents I’ve never been able to sleep through the night. I’m always afraid I’ll wake up and everyone that matters will be gone. I find myself often wandering to my big brother's room or going to see Nori his and Leo's house elf to verify they are still there. Important people disappear from my life, first my mother than my father. I’ve gotten used to people leaving me.
■ MATURE I’m typically a happy person or at least I try to come off that way. I was raised polite and well-mannered. I always say please and thank you, and give the occasional curtsy. I don’t want to offend people so I try not to be rude. Though, I can be occasionally quick to answer but also methodical. At times I can be just as quick to add on to my answer after the fact to make my response sound nicer.
■ INTELLIGENT I’m fairly intelligent for my age. Not my brother’s level of intelligent but I do have my talents. I started using magic fairly early and everyone says I’m a very good ballet dancer. Cathy say’s I’m one of the prettiest dancers and being pretty is part of being talented.
■ PERFECTIONIST Since my father’s death I’ve become rather finicky about perfection and order. Probably more than most children might be. I’m always quick to pick up after myself and order my stuff just so. I like things to be neat and tidy. Since starting ballet I’ve been working hard to become the best in the class. And, to be the best I have to be perfect.
■ HARDWORKING As mentioned before I’m a hard worker. I work hard every day in ballet. So I can be a great dancer someday. I’m committed to do the best I can so I can be perfect. I want to prove not only to myself but others that I’m good at what I love to do. Between that and school I’d like to think I’m working hard to be good in both areas of my life.
■ STUBBORN I can be a tad stubborn sometimes. I’m not all the time but I can when I want something or don’t want something. Typically I’m used to getting things, though I don’t expect it. I don’t really ask for a lot of things. Some say I’m difficult because I can be contrary to what others want. When I was younger, if there was a choice between lemonade and fruit punch, I’d choice water. And if you suggested the lemonade, chances were I’d go for the fruit punch. I'm still like that today.

■ SKEPTICAL Since losing both my parents I’ve never been able to sleep through the night. I’m always afraid I’ll wake up and everyone that matters will be gone. I find myself often wandering to my big brother's room or going to see Nori his and Leo's house elf to verify they are still there. Important people disappear from my life, first my mother than my father. I’ve gotten used to people leaving me.
■ MATURE I’m typically a happy person or at least I try to come off that way. I was raised polite and well-mannered. I always say please and thank you, and give the occasional curtsy. I don’t want to offend people so I try not to be rude. Though, I can be occasionally quick to answer but also methodical. At times I can be just as quick to add on to my answer after the fact to make my response sound nicer.
■ INTELLIGENT I’m fairly intelligent for my age. Not my brother’s level of intelligent but I do have my talents. I started using magic fairly early and everyone says I’m a very good ballet dancer. Cathy say’s I’m one of the prettiest dancers and being pretty is part of being talented.
■ PERFECTIONIST Since my father’s death I’ve become rather finicky about perfection and order. Probably more than most children might be. I’m always quick to pick up after myself and order my stuff just so. I like things to be neat and tidy. Since starting ballet I’ve been working hard to become the best in the class. And, to be the best I have to be perfect.
■ HARDWORKING As mentioned before I’m a hard worker. I work hard every day in ballet. So I can be a great dancer someday. I’m committed to do the best I can so I can be perfect. I want to prove not only to myself but others that I’m good at what I love to do. Between that and school I’d like to think I’m working hard to be good in both areas of my life.
■ STUBBORN I can be a tad stubborn sometimes. I’m not all the time but I can when I want something or don’t want something. Typically I’m used to getting things, though I don’t expect it. I don’t really ask for a lot of things. Some say I’m difficult because I can be contrary to what others want. When I was younger, if there was a choice between lemonade and fruit punch, I’d choice water. And if you suggested the lemonade, chances were I’d go for the fruit punch. I'm still like that today.

CHILDHOOD My parents Sinclair and Cara League decided once both my siblings began to attend Hogwarts that they would have another child - which end up being me. My dad was hoping for a non-magical child to raise as an ordinary muggle child (though that would make the child technically a squib) and hoped for it all the more when he found out that my sister Cathaline actually could do magic, which was unknown to anyone until she actually got her Hogwarts letter. Of course, I ended up showing some signs of magic during the first few weeks of being born - such as lights turning back on when they were turned off in a room. I have been attended muggle school while waiting to start my education at Hogwarts.

By November of 2031 both my mother and father had been murdered in separate, unrelated incidents. After being orphaned I was allowed to stay with my older brother, David Avery and his wife Leo. Soon after their new son, Christopher was born. Having shown some interest in ballet, my brother David arranged for me to start classes hoping that it would give me a positive outlet now and in the future.

Since then I have loved every minute of ballet. I also spend lots of time with my big sister Cathy. One day Cathy invited her boyfriend Jean for dinner. She reminded me that mum always said; “Being pretty is one of the most important things a girl can be.” Jean didn’t agree and Cathy I guess was very upset about it. Around that time I also went to a wedding. It was fun,all zombie themed and I got to wear a costume. A year after that David and Leo had a daughter named Jessica.

Now I'm off to Hogwarts but I'm not so sure about it. What if I came back from school and no one is here?

SCHOOL YEARS

First year I was sorted into Ravenclaw. Met some friends (Arinell & Kylian) and ran into some others (Cadence & Lucien). Coming home for the holidays my fears were nothing to worry about. Leo had tried talking me into joining a club since I hadn’t joined one my first year. Second year I took Leo’s suggestion to join the music club on top of joining the drama club. Both were pretty fun, and I got to hang with Lucien. I also took advanced flying, mostly because Cathy talked me into it. I wasn’t about to join Quidditch though. Third year expanded my class schedule but was more or less the same as the years prior. Although I did put Caleb Devereux in his place during magical creatures class. He was being a tad difficult. Fourth year things became more interesting. Lucien ended up pushing me and Su-Jin together. We began a nice friendship that turned into a relationship two years later.

Fifth year I took the plunge and joined the Quidditch team. I also took a cat from one of my OWL exams, much to David's distain. Sixth year my nephew Christopher came to Hogwarts, Gryffindor house to be exact. That was the year Su-Jin and I dated. We unfortunately split at the end of the year but remained friends. Come summer my secret about playing Quidditch was blown. Chris had regrettable mentioned it to his father and David was furious with me. I hardly cared though as I had no plans on walking away from Quidditch my final year. Seventh year I played Quidditch and participated in clubs, all while studying for my NEWTs. They weren’t perfect grades but at least I could say I enjoyed my final year. Now it was time for the real world.

■ HARDWORKING I'm not the type to choose to read a book but at least I'm hardworking. I've been like that all my life, determined to accomplish everything I do. Though I do try not to stress over the little things.
■ BRAVE I'll admit I'm brave most of the time (when my family isn't in danger) but of course like everyone I have my moments.
■ PROTECTIVE I'm protective over my family and friends which might be why some say I'll make a good mother. Then again I do like helping people in general (mostly friends though).
■ HOTHEADED I'm not as hotheaded as I used to be. Sure I have my outburst ever now and then but I've really come to accept that it's alright to speak your mind but you should do so in a polite manner. CHILDHOOD I live with my father and my two sisters Mira and Grace. I always had a thing for sports be it muggle sports or wizarding spots. My father has always been fascinated with muggles so it’s no surprise that he wanted us to get involved in the muggle world. I’m a pureblood not that blood matters to me or my family but I’m a lot like my father. I like adventure and being out and about. He was placed in Gryffindor much like I hope to be.

Taking the time I do both gymnastics and soccer and love it. Aside from all the muggle things I love I also love flying and plan on playing quidditch when I get to Hogwarts. I used to spend a lot of time cooking with my mother and when my sister Mira was old enough she joined in. However it didn’t last long because just two years after that my youngest sister Grace came and when that happened, my mother passed away. Without her we are left to do what she taught us on our own and hopeful I can teach Grace everything she taught us.

Coming to Hogwarts this year I'm worried that my sister's will have trouble dealing with each other without me. I've never been away from my sisters and it's kind of knew for me. I don't know how my father will handle things now that I'm not around but I hope he takes more time off to spend time with them he needs to be there now that I'm not. Despite my family I'm excited to be attending Hogwarts and can't wait to go to my home away from home.

That's what the sorting hat said to me the day I was sorted into Gryffindor. I asked to be placed in Gryffindor, what I didn't know was that it would be the best place to be. I spent my time throughout Hogwarts playing Quidditch which I became captain of, and involving myself with various clubs like the dueling and music club. As it turned out I made a lot of friends in my house and in various others. From Tanya, Echo, and Elsie to Theo, Dani, and Ronna I was close with all of them.

Though none of them can compete with a Ravenclaw named David. I met him before I even got on the train my first year. We had an awkward start but once second year rolled around something happened between us. We fell for each other, it started with the Valentine's dance, rumors being spread around that we were dating. At the time we weren't but it soon happened, come the following year. It was kind of a spur of the moment thing but it was either I became his girlfriend or nothing. I wasn't about to lose the closest friend I had.

I soon found out after that, that a Slytherin girl in our year Sapphire Snow liked David too. I think that was the first time I'd ever been jealous. Then I got the pleasure of meeting David's grandparents which was... stressful to say the least. I remained polite despite the things I'd heard and things managed to go smoothly. I admit I prefer David's parents. During all of that my two sister's Mira and Grace were both sorted into Slytherin and Ravenclaw respectively. Lucky for me Mira became friends with David's second cousin Wendy who so far has had nothing bad to say about her. Oh and my cousin Dakota was also sorted into Ravenclaw.

Come my final year at Hogwarts David asked me to marry him. Of course I said yes, I love him after all. So we became engaged which Mira didn't like and decided to blow up at me for it. However she eventually calmed down and was able to tell me exactly what was bothering her. Once that was off her chest at least she was happy for me. Though I guess with good news comes bad when I found out David's mother was murdered trying to save someone. I didn't take it well I hope I can be there for Cathy and Leah when they need it.

POST GRADUATION Just when you think my final trip on the Hogwarts Express will go like always, Neo Death Eaters show up and ruin the whole thing. My sister Grace gets injured badly and if it wasn't for Ashley Yaxley I don't know what I'd do. After the chaos and Grace was out of the hospital, David and I got married. I'm officially Mrs. Leonette Avery and I couldn't be happier. Getting a job relocating house elves less then a year later I found out I was pregnant with our first child. Things couldn't get any better.

2031 : Sinclair League was killed at home while Leah was with David and I. Despite the tragedy we were blessed with a baby boy and have a wonderful house elf. Leah will be staying with us and I only hope I can be a good mother to both her and little Christopher.

2033 : After attending Tanya and Echo's wedding on October 31, 2032 David and I discussed having baby number two. Sure enough we were pregnant not long after. To my surprise our precious baby girl Jessica was born a few couple weeks early. Better then late I suppose. It will certainly be busy around our home for a while, now that Christopher has begun running around the house and attempting to climb everything in sight. Though I'm sure we'll manage with Nori's help.

A year later my little grasshopper is just as active as ever. It's sometimes hard to keep up. Perhaps if I can get them into the kitchen it'll help keep him busy and out of trouble. Until then I'll just be grateful that Jess isn't a handful. My cousin Chloe got married when the kids were seven and five. They enjoyed it as did I. Then my aunt and uncle were killed and it was pretty hard on the whole family, myself included.

2043 : My sister Grace finally got married to Avian in the spring which was a delight. Then my son Chris headed off to Hogwarts in the fall. He's grown up so fast and I couldn't have been prouder when he got into Gryffindor.

The following year Jessica went off to school as well. It was different having an empty nest. Things were quiet until Grace was pregnant and things went wrong. I talked some sense into her at least. Dakota's wedding was a much needed relief.

■ CURIOUS I’ve always been a curious sort. I like trying to figure things out, preferably in the hands on sort of way. I am not much of a reader as you can imagine. Anyways, I can’t stay out of anything. There is just so much to get into and explore. How else am I supposed to learn? Honestly, I’m probably too curious for my own good.
■ ADVENTUROUS I like going on my own adventures. My parents and Nori didn’t exactly like that about me when I was younger. I’ve always liked to run and climb, especially climbing. If there’s a tree I’m going to climb it just because it’s fun and you can see everything from up high. As I’ve gotten older I’ll go off on my own and explore new places, some probably aren’t the safest. I was never much for paying attention to my surroundings.
■ ACTIVE I’m an active energetic kid, I like to play sports and have fun. I hate sitting still especially when you aren’t learning anything interesting or fun. Sitting in a classroom listening to boring lectures completely sucks. My favourite thing is flying! Aunt Mira taught me everything I know, and I plan on playing while I’m in school.
■ NOISY Sneaking around is not my strong suit. I liked making really loud noises as a youngster. Preferring to use my outdoor voice even if I was indoors. I can be rather exuberant. I’m loud and I love music (particularly the drums). Being quiet isn’t something I’m best at. I try but I just can’t contain my excitement for things.
■ FEARLESS With my curiosity and love for adventure I have no sense of danger and have very little fear for near death experiences. Anything that equals fun is totally worth it. I’ll brave anything if I’m curious enough. When I was young it was the dog across the street, or that tree that looked like it needed to be climbed. Today it would be playing Quidditch without telling my father, or walking head long into the forbidden forest. I’m a hundred percent all in. Don’t get me wrong I’m terrified of the dark but who wouldn’t want to go into a creepy forest just because it’s against school rules.
■ RESILIENT If I do get hurt or fall down on my adventures I always get back up and try again. I tend not to worry about scraps. I’m also not afraid of failure. I’ll try anything at least once and if I fail at it I’ll try again until I get it right. If I get stuck I don’t give up on trying to figure it out. I might get frustrated at times but that isn’t going to stop me. Nop, not a chance.

CHILDHOOD I was born in November. My mum and dad are pretty great. I can’t complain. I figured out walking, graduated to running sort of. It was more like falling in between moments of running for a while there. I kept tripping over my own two feet. It took me a while, but I figured out the whole talking thing too. I can tell you that I really like trying to climb things, even things that are bigger then me (which is like everything). Once I prefect that then I’ll work on flying.

A few years after my birth I found out I was going to be a brother. I thought I already was one? I don't get it. Must be I get to be an older brother. My new baby sister came home in the summer of 2033. She was kind of boring at first. I started by poking her when she was small. She squirmed which was kind of cool. At least she did something... Now I find I can get a reaction from her by pulling her hair. It's a little more exciting than just squirming or reading. I'm more adventurous then my sister or my cousins. I wish I could find someone more like me.

Aunt Mira likes watching my sister and I. She's really fun to hang with. She likes flying and Quidditch. My mum's cousin got married in the Spring of 2039. I got to see my Aunt Mira and meet Colten he seemed fun. Far more fun then other cousins I know. Then my great aunt and uncle died during the summer. I don't know what happened, but Benjamin wasn't okay after that. Since then I've gone to my Aunt Grace's wedding and now I'm off to school can't wait.

First year was everything I hoped it would be. I joined the Quidditch team as a reserve chaser. I became friends with the Whitethorne twins; Eve and Lilith. Oh and I went to a gathering full of second years and a few first years. It was pretty fun we had a snow ball fight, and I got a nickname from Liz. Second year I might have spilled the beans on Leah playing Quidditch. I spent most of the year feeling bad about it. Not that it stopped her from playing it.

Third year I made starting line up as Chaser for the Quidditch team. Granted despite winning the Quidditch cup the rest of the year was rather uneventful.

■ INQUISITIVE I’m a curious sort. Since I was small, I’ve liked watching people and things, especially if they’re colorful. I liked watching my mother's bird and listening to the nice sounds it made. Wondering all the while how it does it. I found the piano interesting with the pretty sounds it made too. Wanting to know how it worked, I learned how to play. Now I find I ask lots of questions about things I’d like to know. Which quite possibly can get on the annoying side for some people.
■ CREATIVE Like I mentioned I found an interest in the piano. The moment I got the change I decided to play it. I like playing it. Then again, I like music in general. It’s relaxing. I have a seemingly natural gift for playing music. Not only do I play sheet music, but I also play around with notes and rhythms. Mum even let me learn the harp like I want too. I enjoyed the challenge. It was well worth it, course I’m still working on mastering the art of harp playing.
■ QUIET I’ve never made much noise even when I was a baby. Compared to my brother you wouldn’t even know I’m there. Sure, he's older but you can’t get much thinking done with him around. I don’t like loud noises, so I like to keep things quiet. Screaming only leads to more screaming… at least I think it does. I don’t like making myself the complete center of attention. Don’t get me wrong I don’t care if I am in the center of a room, I’m just not going to make a scene to get there. Besides quiet is better for reading books, which I like doing.
■ STUDIOUS As I said I like books. Even when I couldn’t read, I’d still look at the pictures. I was always in for a good story being read to me. Now I’m pretty good at sitting down with a good book on my own. I like being surrounded by books of all kinds. With a desire to learn things it’s no surprise. The gears in my head are always turning. I’ve even started to pay attention to odd little things. My attention to detail isn’t as good as my father but perhaps when I’m older I’ll get there.
■ MATURE Due to all my reading I’m more aware. The more you know the more aware you can be, right? I’ve always been careful about the world around me. I may be young, but I don’t touch things I’m unsure of or know will cause me harm. I especially don’t go looking for trouble. I’m a responsible kid with a decent understanding of what’s right and what’s wrong. A lot of the time I can sound older then I really am, I’d like to think it’s because I’m sensible.
■ PERFECTIONIST Since I started playing piano, I’ve turned into quite the perfectionist. I can’t be anything less then perfect. I’ll spend hours practicing one part until I can do it with my eyes closed. I’m the same with my studies. I need to be right all the time. If I’m not, I’ll spend hours studying until I find the right answer. I also tend to avoid things I’m not good at. I get that from my father including his inability to cook.

CHILDHOOD I was born which I'm pretty sure was planned. Although I'm pretty sure I came a little early. I have an older brother who doesn't act like the older brother. I think he just likes bothering me because he thinks it's funny, although that's not proven. My parents are wonderful, I'd like to say I'm daddy's little girl, but I can't speak for him. One of these days I'm going to find out where he goes every day. I know he leaves to go to some place called work, but I don't know where work is... Come to think of it I don't even know where mummy works... Oh I almost forgot through family reunions, I met my cousin Ben he's pretty quiet which I think is one of the best things about him.

My Aunt Mira likes to kidnap my brother and I. However, I much rather prefer hanging with my Aunt Grace, she gets me. Just before I turned six my cousin Chloe got married. We attended the wedding and I got to see Ben and Enid. I spent most of the time with Ben. During the summer my great aunt and uncle were killed. I didn’t know what to say when I found that out. Benny was really bothered by it, more so then me. I won’t lie, I did cry. I rather liked my great aunt.

Next thing I knew my Aunt Grace was getting married and my brother was headed off to school. It certainly made things quieter at home for reading. Nori and I have a lovely time. The following year my cousin Benjamin and I were off to Hogwarts as well. I certainly am looking forward to it. Hopefully I'll end up in Ravenclaw like my father.

Ravenclaw just like I expected. There was no way First year would start off differently. School was great I was in the same house as Benjamin. However... Monique Devereux and I got into it a lot during class. She was always pushing me. She's in Gryffindor a surprise to hear as she liked to spout on about.

Second year I cheered Benny on for the team despite having no interest myself. I mostly stuck to my studies. Luckily this year Monique wasn't such a pain but I still don't trust her.

EARLY CHILDHOOD Cathy was born to Dr. Sinclair and Cara League. Her father is a plastic surgeon who owns his own clinic in London and is one of the best paid in his field. Her mother always claims to work in banking but never discussed her work. Her parents and her older brother would once or twice a year visit her parents hometown for a couple days, but Cathy was always left with a nanny during those times. Cathy learned never to question it. She knew she probably should, but accepted that her family must have had their reasons. Besides that her life was fairly ordinary and comfortable. She lived in a very posh townhouse in one of the most expensive neighborhoods in London and was given access to the best education, including tutors/nannies her parents hired to teach her foreign languages at Cathy's request. Her older brother, David, attended Wetherby School for Pre-Prepatory School and Prepatory School one of the best schools in England-an all boy’s school that even some of the royal family members have attended-and Cathy attended Queen's College Prep School.

Things changed some when David the summer after he turned eleven had it announced to her that he had decided to enroll in the same boarding school their father had attended-Ashby's-to finish his education before going on to attend university. This was of course a lie-David was going to Hogwarts since he was a wizard. However, since it was believed Cathy was a squib since she had never shown any obvious signs of magic, her family chose to keep the wizarding world from her. During that year, Cara League lost a leg-the story being she lost it from being hit by a car, but the story was never talked about much. However, Cara and Sinclair seemed far less tense around each other after this event. David meanwhile, when he returned from the summer became if anything more withdrawn than usual.

All the while, Cathy never noticed odd things around her like the fact her cups of tea stayed warm for hours on end or that one time when she dropped one of her mother's sculptures onto the wood floor and it should have shattered the object landed safely and nothing was broken at all. Cathy merely assumed this was all a fluke and that it wasn't all that odd.

In the end she was wrong-as was her family. Cathy was in fact a witch. It was realized when Cathy got an acceptance letter to Hogwarts. After the letter, her brother volunteered to take her shopping for her school supplies in a place called Diagon Alley. All the while failing to mention that their extended family was fairly hateful to anyone who wasn't what they consider 'pureblood' and could in fact do magic. The extended family she and the rest of her family is most connected to is her mother's side which is the Avery Family.

SCHOOL YEARS
Cathy has had a relatively successful time at Hogwarts so far. Though she is hardly the best in her class when it comes to magic she has done well in classes such as history of magic and ancient runes. After joining the quidditch team in her second year she has become what she considers herself a star quidditch player. She was eventually named vice captain and became captain of the Hufflepuff team during her sixth year at Hogwarts. Cathy also was named prefect. While she has made some long lasting friends such as Danica and Iris (who she began to date in her fifth year after an impulsive kiss from Iris), she has also lost friends due to her inability to be grounded at times. After her mother was murdered saving her friend Elijah the two grew apart as Eli felt, rightly so, that Cathy could not be trusted to find out such information. During the summer before her seventh year her long term crush Jean confessed his feelings to him. Iris, her girlfriend at the time, encouraged Cathy to go after him and Jean and Cathy began to date and Iris stayed best friends. It was during Cathy's seventh year that tragedy once again struck her family. Her father was murdered by Maxmillian Chaisty on the orders of her grandparents on the Avery side as Dr. League was seen to be a bad influence on Leah League and to prevent Leah to go astray of being a proper pureblood girl like Cathy had. After Dr. League's death the Averys were turned in by Wendy Chaisty for their deeds and their stock of illegal dark magical items. Cathy League (by muggle law) will be under her brother's care till she turns 18. She plans once she turns 18 to move to London and return to the League family townhouse where she will reside with her father's remaining living cat and her own cat.

AFTER HOGWARTS
After moving to London and living in the League family townhouse she joined the English Quidditch National Team as a chaser. She soon gained fame and found herself on the front of magazines and interviewing often between practices and games. She felt as if she had the perfect life. A great career, fame, and of course a boyfriend who was devoted to her since early in their Hogwarts career. Yet as she advanced in her career and gained more fame she grew more distant from Jean, her boyfriend. Over time he realized her faults and they broke up in private. Soon this private break up became publicized and Cathy released statements that said they grew apart and she realized that it just wouldn't work. She encouraged her fans not to hold the breakup against Jean, though, she initially didn't recover from the break up, but put on a happy face and pretended it was what she wanted. She slowly came to realize that it wasn't Jean she loved but the idea of the relationship.

In late 2041, she made a decision that will change her life forever: she chose to be a mother. Taking a year leave of absence from her job she disappeared from the media to Germany with a rather sizable secret. She decided to go through a donor bank to become pregnant. On July 14, 2042 she gave birth to a rather good nature daughter she named Artemisia Rosalie League. She has actively been spoiling her daughter since birth, including hiring two nannies to help care for her child. Time will tell if this is a wise parenting decision for her.

FRIENDLY Artemis was a happy baby and toddler, as she aged as a child she continued to not be shy around new people. She is happy to socialize with others and learn more about them. She craves to be recognized as an individual with her own opinions and as a result seeks out conversations with others.
COSSETED Cathy, Artemis's mother, has not changed much in her parenting techniques as when Artemis was a toddler and infant. Cathy sees Artemis as a flawless child and expects perfection from Artemis as Cathy feels Artemis can do no wrong. Yet, Cathy is also determined to protect Artemis from any and all dangers and hurt of the world. Cathy has gone so far as to keep employed two nannies so that Artemis is never truly alone despite the demands of Cathy's career and fame. Practically any and all of Artemis's needs are catered to.
FEARLESS Artemis has always been protected by her caretakers. Living in a golden world full of any material item she wants, the best security including a bodyguard to escort her and her nanny or mother to and from school each day and another bodyguard to sit within screams distance of her, Artemis has practically nothing to fear. Even something as simple as reaching for a hot plate she knows immediately she will be protected by someone from the danger. When you have no consequences of this matter what is there to fear?
DREAMER Artemis has an active imagination and is a story teller by nature. She envisions worlds even better than the one she lives in full of love and peace and the purist of magic creating colors and happiness that she knows will never be true, yet if you don't dream it, you are only guaranteed not to achieve those dreams.
PERFECTIONIST Artemis's mother Cathy and much of the family has high expectations for themselves and each other. Cathy truly believes in Artemis's superiority and thus expects nothing but above average performance in all pursuits at the minimum. This pressure and Cathy's clear disappointment in not the best, pushes Artemis from a young age for achievement that is not always feasible. At the end of the day Artemis feels failure is not an option for her.

EARLY CHILDHOOD Cathaline Acacia League, a famous Quidditch player for an English National Team, decided to take a year off suddenly and go into "hiding" in Germany. Why? It was a mystery. The press announced that Cathy League was hiding a love child after she returned to England only a couple weeks before Artemisia's birth and much to everyone's surprise refused to reveal the father when she usually was so open to oversharing on her personal life. The father? That was Cathy and her family's secret. Cathy had decided to take the artificial insemination route to have a child without consulting her family and friends. She carefully chose a clinic that provided "top rate" donor samples only and she chose Donor 10956 to be the father of her child. With only a picture, a map of his genetics, and a description of his life including his profession (Aeronautical Engineer), Cathy made the decision that would in part make Artemis's future.

Cathy chose the name of her child to mean "gift from Artemis", Artemisia, to symbolize a gift from the Greek goddess of wild animals, wilderness, childbirth and virginity. Cathy couldn't be happier with having a daughter and is determined that through her careful planning will be the picture of perfection. As time pressed forward, Cathy became captain of Puddlemere United, even with taking a year off. Artemis is old enough to understand that her mother is far less available than many of her classmates at Queen's College Prep School the same muggle school her mother attended before moving to Hogwarts.

Artemis had gotten used to lying about the more magical aspects of her life, and focus on things such as piano lessons with her uncle and language tutoring and even shadowing her Mother at work (which officially at her school is listed as diplomatic translator for the United Nations). At the end of the day, Artemis is beginning to question if her mother is trying to form Artemis as a red-haired version of herself. Artemis dreams of changing the world to a brighter happier place, and she doubts being able to play quidditch well and being a pretty face is enough to do that. In fact, Artemis would be happier to be able to truly say her mother was helping diplomacy for the United Nations with her language skills and charm instead of being a huge hit with international reporters and look "amazing" in a bikini on a cover page.

Artemisia is looking forward to her start at Hogwarts and is nervous to be free of her constant shadows of nannies, her mother, and her bodyguards. She is less looking forward to having the knowledge that some of the upperclassmen may have ogled her mother in next to nothing posing with a broomstick. Artemisia hopes to create her own legacy away from quidditch and her mother's Hufflepuff legacy. She still suspects that her mother's obsession with appearing happy and flawless more assigned her to the house of loyalty and friendship due to Helga Hufflepuff's acceptance of "all the rest" than that Cathy truly embodies the goals of the house. Due to the fear of being one of "all the rest" if Artemisia had her choice she'd not have the Sorting Hat give her mum the pleasure of knowing her daughter got sorted as a Hufflepuff too.


SCHOOL YEARS
■ Aria was a hard worker and high achiever throughout her time at Hogwarts. Starting Hogwarts, Aria was determined to not be her mother and wished to eventually measure up her late grandmother (Cara League) who Aria admired as a hero. And Cara was a hero in her own right dying for another and leading the obliviator office for years. The Sorting Hat agreed with Aria that she was not her mother and sorted her into Gryffindor (not her mother's Hufflepuff). Throughout Hogwarts, Aria scored high grades in the classes she saw as most important for her future with the Ministry of Magic, and was a member of the Language and Music Club. In the second year Aria's mother demanded her join the quidditch team where Aria out of duty did her best for the team as a chaser, eventually their Vice Captain, and finally their Captain. More importantly Aria was recognized not only as a prefect for Gryffindor but also Head Girl. As head girl, she teamed up with head boy Milan Wellbelove to host a carnival for the clubs to raise money. Throughout the time the two learned to respect each others' talents and build a friendship.

At Hogwarts her childhood friendship with Ronald Quinn-Smith (Ron) blossomed into romance. Ron stood by her side loyally and in many ways Aria felt she would do anything for Ron.

Little troubled Aria at Hogwarts except the occasional unwelcome comment regarding her in connection with her mother's time modeling (Aria had seen enough pictures of her mother in a bikini by the end of her first year - it was one of the many good reasons to avoid the boys' dorm). In her fourth year an older Hufflepuff confronted Aria while she studied with Ron and his sister. Ron unsuccessfully tried to stand up for her before getting cursed. Brianna tried to fight and also fared poorly. Aria ran to the hospital wing to get help and everyone was healed and the aggressor was punished though not expelled like Cathy had demanded. Dani was a bit more level headed about the situation.

POST HOGWARTS
■ The moment Aria got her NEWTs, Aria finished her resume and rushed to the Ministry to file an application with the obliviator department. She is ready for the specialized training and confident she will someday rise through the ranks and eventually get the title "Head Obliviator".

FRIENDLY Artemis was a happy baby and toddler, as she aged as a child she continued to not be shy around new people. She is happy to socialize with others and learn more about them. EARLY CHILDHOOD Cathaline Acacia League, a famous Quidditch player for an English National Team, decided to take a year off suddenly and go into "hiding" in Germany. Why? It was a mystery. The press announced that Cathy League was hiding a love child and much to everyone's surprise refused to reveal the father when she usually was so open to oversharing on her personal life. The father? That was Cathy and her family's secret. Cathy had decided to take the artificial insemination route to have a child without consulting her family and friends. She carefully chose a clinic that provided "top rate" donor samples only and she chose Donor 10956 to be the father of her child. With only a picture, a map of his genetics, and a description of his life including his profession (Aeronautical Engineer), Cathy made the decision that would in part make Artemis's future.

Cathy chose the name of her child to mean "gift from Artemis", Artemisia, to symbolize a gift from the Greek goddess of wild animals, wilderness, childbirth and virginity. Cathy couldn't be happier with having a daughter and is determined that through her careful planning will be the picture of perfection. As time pressed forward, Cathy became captain of Puddlemere United, even with taking a year off. Artemis is old enough to understand that her mother is far less available than many of her classmates at Queen's College Prep School the same muggle school her mother attended before moving to Hogwarts.

Artemis has gotten used to lying about the more magical aspects of her life, and focus on things such as piano lessons with her uncle and language tutoring and even shadowing her Mother at work (which officially at her school is listed as diplomatic translator for the United Nations). At the end of the day, Artemis is beginning to question if her mother is trying to form Artemis as a red-haired version of herself. Artemis dreams of changing the world to a brighter happier place, and she doubts being able to play quidditch well and be a pretty face is enough to do that. In fact, Artemis would be happier to be able to truly say her mother was helping diplomacy for the United Nations with her language skills and charm instead of being a huge hit with international reporters and look "amazing" in a bikini on a coverpage.
