Physical Description:
Hair - Long in front, to his pectorals, with his bangs equally long and parted to his left. The back is waist length, tied up in a man bun.

Face: - CHISELED. He's cut, and lacks the body fat of most children since he's been raised. His eyes are a bright vibrant blue, and while they look piercing and angry, looking deeper shows a softer side.

Skin and Build - Pytha may not favor a craft beyond raising runnerbeasts, but he's diesel. Built like a tank with large bones and a healthy amount of muscle, Pytha is a mid-height man with fair lightly tanned skin. He lacks visible body fat, minus his stomach -- you'd think he has a six pack, but while it's flat, his stomach lacks it. Still built like a brick wall though.

Clothes - When he must, and can, he likes his candidate's clothing. They're comfortable, and he doesn't feel like a peacock in them. Any other time, he's stuck in silks and colorful clothing made by his mother, or bought from Merchants. The only ones he likes? He buys himself withn his 'allowance' - mostly masculine clothing, but some feminine flourish.

Personality: At home, Pytha was knowen for being charitable -- a trait that opther candidates learned was fact when he came. While kind and willing to listen to lower caste people, he has a problem with rebelling against his parents. While fine with his instructors and teachers... If you mistreat someone he's going to have a problem. Pytha tries to put others before himself, but while a generally warm person, he's also got his bad habits and traits -- he doesn't fully understand all commoner issues, for one. For another, he has a temper that kind of... Can be triggered easily.

History: Pytha was the son of a lesser lord at a small Hold. His father, a rather unpopular, ruthless man was not pleased to learn his son did not follow in his footsteps, but he was his son, and so he tried to father him and mould him into a 'man' by his ideals. Pytha had a good deal -- he was taken hunting, to shows and entertainment, was given what he wished -- but Pytha often worried for those with less all the same. He learned to raise Runnerbeasts specifically to help others, and please his family, anbd in doing so met a poor local girl named Amila. Although it seemed they were of different worlds, Pytha came to be a protective older brother figure to the quiet girl, and the two bonded over their love for animals, and Pytha's constant vigilance for her welfare. When the Search came, Amila was Searched. When Amila was searched, she all but cried for Pytha to come, the closest home comfort she had. So, Pytha was taken to High Reaches, to his family's pride, along with his dearest little friend, and became a candidate.
Other: Yes, my Amila. He missed the Tarot hatching/touching ICly because of illness. We'll say it was illness. As for more? He probably bugs other candidates to share his marks okay HE KNOWS THERE ARE THOSE WHO ARE POOR.

So a few things.

1. Can you mention where his minor Hold is from? It's important to know because the Major Holds own the land, so minor Holds are under a Major's protection. Was it High Reaches Hold? Nabol? Tillek? Somewhere else? If it's somewhere else than you'll have to have a reason how a High Reaches rider found him. gaia_star

2. Could you expand on his profile a smidge? Particularly his personality? After The Tarot Clutch shorter wirtten personalities were definitely harder to match dragonets with, even when folks had 3 positive and negitive traits. You say he used to be charitable at his hold, and I see he mentions maybe encouraging others to share their marks, but cold you expand of that in his personality? How does that charitableness come across either as a Candidate or how did he handle it at his Hold?

You say he's passionate but what about? Is it runners? People? Dragons? How does that passion show?

He's loyal but who to? Friends? Anyone who is kind to him? His family? His father? The Weyr? How does one earn that loyalty?

You mention he's impulsive but how so and what sorts of things get him to act impulsively? Is he the sort to just act first, think later? Does it cause him trouble, and if so, what sort? Will he act if someone eggs him on, or just whenever he decides to act on his own?

Last, you say he has a gruff temper that's triggered easily, but it would be good to know what those triggers are? Is it impatience with others? Does he have to be riled into it? I think just expanding and further explaining all his traits would really help us to try to find a perfect match.

3. Last but not least, you talk about his father being a ruthless man. How was he ruthless? Did he abuse his holdfolk? Was he cruel to his son? How did he get away with his ruthlessness?

4. Also, Pytha would have to be officially Searched. No matter how hard Amila might cry or weep or beg, a Searchrider (particularly someone at High Reaches Weyr) would not just bring someone back if they weren't officially search. So the rider would have had to officially Search him or just claim he was searched (even if the dragon hadn't). The latter is rare but sometimes happens. So I'd clarify that point - -was he truly officially searched, or did the rider just kind of say he was and brought him back?
