◊ DYNAMIC Lena is always on the move doing something or changing something else. The term "force of nature" could easily be used to explain her.
◊ WITTY She's not one to brag but she's rather intelligent and doesn't generally hide especially in her humor.
◊ IMPATIENT Twenty-four hours in a day is both too much and not enough for her to do all the things she would like. Lena has stared at a clock for five minutes and swore that five hours had passed as well as claiming that seven hours should not pass that quickly when sleeping.
◊ FORTHRIGHT Due to her impatience, she doesn't have time for holding her tongue. Lena never saw the point in not speaking her mind because it was her's, so, who else was going to speak for it?
◊ PECULIAR This is something she's not exactly fond of being called but it's nicer than "weird" so she'll accept it. Growing up (literally) in theater with a name like "Puck" was bound to cause a few peculiarities.
◊ ADVANTAGEOUS Lena deplores cheating but at the same time, if she does have a veritable advantage she'd feel like she was cheating if she didn't use it. Plus who's to say what exactly was an advantage? But that was another debate/poem for another time.

CHILDHOOD Magdalena was produced from a passionate affair of two actors in a university production of "Fiddler On the Roof." Sad to say, the affair didn't last long after her father learned of her conception. Still, he offered to pay child support and did send checks readily so, it was better than nothing. Her mother Hera wasn't very bothered by it, extending the belief that her soul had cried out for someone to bond with and instead of a mate it sent her a daughter. Or something like that. In all honesty, Lena sort of tuned her mother out once she got on one of those long-winded hippy dippy monologues. Suffice to say, she was happy with her daughter and even managed to graduate and find a decent job as a theater teacher at a local high school by the time Lena was potty training. Most of her early life centered around the stage (pun definitely not intended) with her mother also volunteering her time at the local theater and therefore volunteering her daughter for various jobs and roles. When she was young and still easily swayed she was pushed into character roles having to talk and or sing on the stage, however as she got older she began putting her foot down more about these roles. After a few colorful fights they came to an agreement; Lena could work backstage in whichever area she wanted and could only agree to a character role if and only if there is no one else to fill it and it was of some form or importance. Of course her mother still found ways to twist this agreement but there wasn't much she could do about it. Except improv some of her supposed lines. She just reminded her mother that it was her glorious idea to name her "Puck."

In between all of this Hera met another young single mother and struck a fast friendship. Both were quirky, both believed in more holistic values, and both were sure that pumpkin spice was the work of misogyny. (Lena's still working that one out). There wasn't much she could do with Nora's son considering she was nearly eight years older than he was, but they worked it out. It was actually around the time of her eighth birthday that she received notice that she was an actual card-carrying witch as well as an invitation to a "pre-wiz" school to get a jump start on her magical education. Her mother, of course, saw nothing wrong with this though the biggest surprise came from Nora herself, who apparently was a witch herself. She should've figured; she always had freshly baked goods but she never once saw her hang around the kitchen for longer than ten minutes. What was really the icing on the cake was that her son was a metasomething or other. Basically it meant he could change his appearance at will. Which was why when she saw him he somehow always had a random color streaking his hair. She had just thought his mother was a bit more free-spirited than her own (Hera had told her she wouldn't be allowed to dye her hair until she was at least in double digits) but nope. It had apparently been of his own uncontrollable doing. Awesome. While she was getting acclimated into the magical world, her mother and Nora became closer until they finally came to the conclusion that they were already dating, they might as well make it official and move onto the fun stuff. Honestly, Lena was just happy her mom was happy. And that she had someone else to obsess and geek over. She loved her and all but nine years was plenty.

SCHOOL YEARS

◊ FIRST YEAR After her years at pre-wiz it was apparently time to start the big leagues and accepted a position at Salems and was sorted into the crow dorm. It was during her first year that she got the surprise that her mother had proposed and they were planning a quick, simple, yet beautiful wedding ceremony. And a move.Apparently whatever position Nora held had reached an end and she was needed back at her home branch in Scotland. And of course her mother couldn't resist a change of pace. Eh. It's not like she's changing schools or something like that. So they married the summer before her second year of school and moved into a newer larger home in a Scotland metropolitan area.
◊ SECOND YEAR Lena thought she'd miss their home in America a whole lot more but honestly, she rather enjoyed living out in the Scotland wilderness. Even if her definition of wilderness just included more than two trees. Chicago hadn't been known for its nature preservation. School hadn't been too odd except for that idiot Christain. God had his parents named him right; what a stain.
◊ THIRD YEAR Nothing really happened, she ran into some kids her own age while hanging out in London and watched the cringiest mating technique she'd ever seen outside of daytime television but that was really it. She's currently learning to drive and she and her friends threw a wild sweet sixteen for another friend which ended up with them decapitating a statue. It was fine but she doesn't think it'll forgive them any time soon.
◊ FOURTH YEAR School's been pretty boring since most of her older friends graduated but she's been making sure to be the perfect model for her younger year mates. And by perfect model, she showed them how to throw the perfect corkscrew snowball and not hit a professor like she did first year. Her sweet sixteen was also this year and they managed to escape without a possible police record. No matter how boring Lil might say that was.
◊ FIFTH YEAR She might commit a murder. And then hide out at Lil's to throw off the cop's scent. Then move to Paris because anyone who knows her knows she'd never willingly living in a city filled with so many hypocritical jackwads. Apparently her new "womanly" physique has attracted the attention of the Frankenstein of jackwards. Although that's an insult to the honor and memory of Mary Shelly so she'll have to think of another evil doctor to compare him to. Regardless, he's like the axe spray for middle school boys: he attracts only the worst and spreads his influence like a noxious gas. He's also decided they'd be a cute "it" couple. God keep her fist open because a b***h never died from slaps, although he's close to testing that theory.
◊ SIXTH YEAR POST GRADUATION Puck graduated from Salem with decent grades much to her surprise and her mothers' pride and joy. She moved back in permanently to their Scottish home while she started working with her mom as a theater assistant. She damn well had the experience and it was pretty cool she was getting paid for it now. Also it was allot easier hanging out with Lil now that they weren't separated by an actual continent so that was pretty cool.

In the summer after her first full year of out of school, Puck met a guy named Dris on one of her usual runs for her mom and well, she was intrigued. She couldn't understand how a man taller than some stop signs could be so adorably awkward as well as suave...at certain times. They made things official after their first date and meeting of each others' families and friends. After about two years of dating and a pregnancy from Dris' long time friends, Puck had a pregnancy scare of her own. However, things didn't end up as peachy as it did for the other two with them both saying stuff (mainly her if she was honest) they didn't mean and separating for the worst two weeks since Theater Camp of 2037. Dris however had a few tricks up his sleeve and came to her house to apologize not long after and actually freaking proposed, with a ring and everything! For now, she's being sort of lazy about planning and just enjoying being with Dris and letting their parents have all the fun.

◊ DETERMINED Chanda doesn't give up without reason if he's curious about it or actively doing something. It'd be a pleasant attribute if whatever he was determined about didn't involve him nearly always tripping over something.
◊ WHIMSICAL He enjoys seeing magic in everyday life. And seeing as he was actually magic and that his mother used magic around him all the time it was rather easy. But also sometimes he could get lost staring at one of his Mum Hera's sparkly gypsy skirts and making fairy ring dances with it.
◊ CURIOUS The world is big, bright, and colorful, what's not to explore?! And now that he had two mums and a big sister to ask, all he had to do now was figure out which questions to do first!
◊ STUBBORN When Chanda didn't want to do something, or more often than not did want to do something,
it would take something extra super spectacular to make him see reason again. Even if the extra super spectacular was shiny.
◊ OBSESSIVE Its not that he gets totally and completely obsessed, its just that he wants to know everything about whatever interests him. And everything always includes ev-er-ry-thing.

CHILDHOOD Chanda's parents were purebloods in an arranged marriage. It was one of the first things he ever really learned about his parents. His mum told him that while she wasn't in love with his dad she very much cared for him, which apparently was how he was able to be conceived.
However before his father ever got the chance to even see him outside the womb, he was involved in a potion explosion and died. Nora was understandably upset and his grandparents, his father's parents, doubly so.
He had been their only heir and now all that was left was little Chanda. His mother struck an agreement with the couple that they could visit or he would come and stay with them for different periods of a year so that he could learn about his roots and ultimately his father. Unfortunately his grandparents just used this time to talk badly about how his mother was raising him, his education, how he was using his free time, etc. The only good thing that she brought to them was new blood apparently since their union brought forth a special ability that hadn't been seen in their bloodline for a few generations:he was a metamorphagus. His hair generally stayed streaked with whatever color he was feeling that particular day, but it was his eyes that usually changed rapidly depending on his mood. Thankfully though, his mother got the chance to escape her in-law's rather toxic environment when her job offered her a temporary position in the States which she took readily. It was there she met a fellow-like minded single mother named Hera Giese and her daughter Magdalena. Chanda doesn't remember much of their initial meeting, but he remembers thinking her curly hair was very pretty and wanted his to be that way as well. His mum hadn't liked keeping such a big secret about her magic from her friend until it seemed it was unnecessary when her own daughter was found to be magical. After that, it seemed that whatever was holding the two women back had disappeared and they eagerly jumped into a relationship. He didn't exactly see a difference, except that now he could call Hera "Mum Hera" outside his head. When he was six they decided to finally tie the knot (whatever that means) and were married and moved all the way back to Scotland into a big new house. Though really all that happened was that his name changed. But he liked the hyphen so it didn't matter. His grandparents weren't so happy that their grandson was being exposed to such a relationship and tried fighting for his custody but thankfully lost, though it still scares him on what could've happened if they won. And on the unlucky side, he still has to visit them from time to time. Chanda has very much enjoyed his new blended family, especially helping his Mummy Hera with her theatrical programs. He loves creating the costumes and the sets as well as acting once or twice when needed. He's hoping he could still do so even once he's at Hogwarts.

SCHOOL YEARS

◊ FIRST YEAR Chanda's first year was amazing! He was sorted into Gryffindor (his parents' house and he was plenty sure if his mum Hera had been magical it'd be her house too) and spent most of the year learning to get around the castle and exploring. He also made a few friends along the way but, he was always up for more!
◊ SECOND YEAR This year was a bit duller than last but still just as fun. He joined theater club (which he's STILL surprised he missed last year!!) and had a blast! He greatly enjoyed helping making the costumes and even acting. Even though trying to make himself furry had made him itch for nearly a week.
◊ THIRD YEAR Was pretty intense with all his new classes. But he thinks he kept up pretty well.
◊ FOURTH YEAR This year was still intense what with preparing for next year's tests and Theater club, he barely had any time for his yoga!
◊ FIFTH YEAR Chanda barely slept a wink the entire year between his studies, the sudden arrival of a prefect badge, starting a club and then helping to run said club. To be honest, yoga club was pretty much his only rest the entire year and he's honestly surprised that he never thought to do so in his earlier years. Thank goodness for Hailey though. His sister also got married during the summer so he was able to attend so now he has a brother, kind of.
◊ SIXTH YEAR Yoga club really helped with de-stressing after their end of the year tests. They also started hanging out more with Priscilla which confused them since they didn't think she actually liked or noticed them. But she was surprisingly sweet and funny (wrapped in heavy sarcasm but not too big a deal) and time seemed to fly between that and heavier coursework.
◊ SEVENTH YEAR School seemed to fly past between all the club activities and studying for NEWT's, Chanda was lucky for their meta genes or they would've been bald by Yule. But it wasn't all bad; towards the end of the semester Priscilla had asked to talk and ended up confessing her feelings which surprised them quite a bit. But also excited them since they hadn't actually ever considered their feelings might've been reciprocated. After finally completing tests and saying some tearful goodbyes, graduation finally happened.

POST GRADUATION Chanda's grandparents hadn't been pleased in the slightest with his proposed career choice. They had wanted him to go either straight to the ministry or to work with them in their textiles business. He had told them that technically he would be as he'd be using said textiles to make children's clothing. There wasn't much they could argue with him and they didn't have much of a reason to go to the goblins and deny his father's inheritance so they've mostly been giving him the silent treatment which isn't that much of a punishment if you asked the meta. The money he received from his father wasn't substantial but it was a lovely sum to help him with his endeavors. They figured could use some of the money now for startup and building up product and then save the rest for a possible down payment on a store front in upcoming years. Currently they rent a sewing space where most of the clothing is made and works alongside his friend Cyrille coming up with designs. Occasionally, they'll also send off some test clothing to family members to see how it holds up though admittedly, they favor their own nephew the most. Chanda and Priscilla broke up amicably and they still consider her a very close friend and confidant when Cyrille gets to be a bit much.

During a forced break from work, Chanda ran into a classmate that they never actually spoke with outside of class which they chose to correct right then and there. And they were really happy they did as Will turned out to be a very funny and interesting guy! (Now they're curious on all the other potential mates they could've missed) Not just that but they could almost imagine that he was...flirting? Possibly? Well they were going on a potential date so they'll probably get their answer then.
