It didn't take long for the food in front of him to be demolished. It was so good that he had to slow himself down at times and remember that he wasn't the only mouth in his hood. At first, Kayl quickly slipped his hand up to the hood to hand Silme a small piece of sweet potato. But when she didn't take it Kayl wondered if something was going on and slowly turned his head peaking into his hood. His eyes almost went wide when he saw Silme passed out on his shoulder barely sitting up against the folds of his cloak. If he leaned over in anyway, she likely would have slipped down the back of is cloak and fallen in her sleep. Looking around as everyone was talking, he took a brief moment when Mihkail was attending to Lelyna to reach up and take hold of Silme, pretending that he was scratching his shoulder. He gently lifted Silme from the back of his cloak, and placed her closer to the front of his shoulder, directly inside one of the folds of his cloak as it draped in towards the pins on his collar that held the cloak in place. In the front of his cloak, the folds of his hood had a spot that would likely act very well as a hammock to the little Fae. As long as he didn't move around to much, She would be safe there.

Once Silme was situated in a safer position, Kayl smiled and went back to eating his food, all the while sneaking away things he thought that Silme would like into the pockets of his cloak for her to eat later. He continued to laugh and talk the night away with Lelyna and Mikhail, telling stories about their childhood, and letting Lelyna in on many of the antics of her loved one. Some might have even been a bit embarrassing to Mihkail, but that didn't stop him from trying to one up Kayl, telling stories of some of the times Kayl got in trouble with the King of Valor. Their stories were endless, and so was the fun. Soon enough the night started to dwindle, they had spent so much time talking and eating and laughing, that they hadn't even noticed the time go by. When Mihkail leaned in to whisper something to Lelyna. Kayl took that as his cue. "Well, I think I'll be off, I have some things I want to pick up before the festival comes to a close, not to mention I wouldn't want to encroach too much on your night," Kayl said with a small wink and a chuckle at his implication. "Lelyna, a pleasure as always, and M... take good care of that one, you found someone very special..." Kayl said with the slightest of bows that he could make without causing Silme to slip out of her little hammock. "Gonna go get ready for round two of the festival, perhaps we'll bump into each other again..." Kayl said lightly before leaving the table and heading away from the feast area. Now that it was getting late, perhaps it was time to head home. He could let Silme rest up in his room, and leave enjoying more of the festival for tomorrow.

Lelyna leaned into Mikhail as he wrapped an arm around her to hold her a bit closer. Smiling a bit, she nodded a little. She was tired but that didn’t mean that she wanted the night to end. Mikhail was having fun reminiscing with Kayl and she didn’t want to spoil that. However, when Kayl arouse from the table and excused himself, she smiled a bit. He’d saved her from having to break up their little party.

Kayl’s words made her smile wide and shake her head a bit in amusement. Kayl was a very good guy and a good friend. He was considerate and polite, a gentleman, as such, he’d begun to attract the attention of the female students. Lelyna’d heard the girls whispering around school – he was developing a bit of a following; and if she was to believe half of what they all said Kayl was a catch. Of course, many of those girls thought that he was interested in her, which was completely baseless. Yes, they were friends and sat together in class, but that didn’t mean they had romantic feelings for one another. Nope, her heart belonged to Mikhail.

“Thank you for sharing the feast with us, Kayl. Have a wonderful evening.” Lelyna said with a smile before cuddling a bit closer to Mikhail, a cold chill running up her spine. “I wanted to stay out a bit longer, but I am getting pretty cold…” She said with a bit of a sigh. “It’s been so wonderful sharing the festival with you Mikhail, I don’t want it to end…” But alas, all good things must eventually come to an end.

Like Kayl, the couple arose from their seats and left the tented area, hand in hand. With Mikhail as her guide, they headed through the crowd back toward the city center and then down the path that would lead them back toward the Academy. Every now and again Lelyna felt a snow flake flutter down and land on her face. Sighing happily, he held Mikhail’s hand a bit tighter. “This was the perfect day Mikhail…thank you so much.” Lelyna knew that this day, this moment would be a particularly precious memory for her for years to come…

Mikhail walked her all the way back to her room and even made sure she had a little fire going in the fireplace before he kissed her goodnight and left to return to his own room. She would have had him tuck her in, but then she wouldn’t have wanted him to leave her alone. Once she was dressing in her pajamas, Lelyna slipped under all her blankets and cuddled against the pillows, wishing that Mikhail had stayed to hold her throughout the night…

Happy to see that Kissa would allow her to be her girlfriend, the farmgirl gave a timid smile before focusing on the food. The news had still left her heart in quite a shock, she was afraid that her raiment might have activated and caused her to slice the table in half! Kissa was probably ecstatic over her answer, and Vana couldn't be more pleased. She had been hiding her feelings for the princess for quite some time, even if she didn't want to fully admit it to anyone, let alone herself. She bite into a drumstick nearby while looking back to the shifter. "It's pretty dang good. Haven't had a meal like this since mah last winter with m'family." She reported happily and made quick work of her first dish. Moving back for a second, Vana would waste very little time in getting started as more and more people soon found their way into the tent. "So d-do ya really like me? Even bein' 'round a hideous freak like me?" She asked. After that the day ended and stuff.
