Yeah, you post to get ornaments. Create a topic to pick a tree of your own.
Of course, I can’t participate cuz I’m on my iPad and too sick to go sit on my computer.
Wish I had a laptop.

Create a topic where you select a base tree to start off with (different types cost different amounts). Others and yourself post within the thread to earn ornaments (and other gifts from what I can tell) that you can decorate the tree with. Each person can decorate how they want but the original poster can decide whether they like a certain decoration or not.
Tree potions are earned that you can use to grow the tree allowing more room to decorate. Once you are satisfied with how the tree looks, you can lock it. The tree will be added to the gallery that rotates on the main event page.

I managed to blast my way through that portion of the event in a day. I thought it was kinda cheesy but cute.

Zphal I managed to blast my way through that portion of the event in a day. I thought it was kinda cheesy but cute. Considering I was having to do it around my work schedule and started late, I managed to complete everything before the event ended. I'm glad it was an event that didn't rely greatly on others to help me achieve the goals. Or I could create a tree and basically dump ornaments onto it with no plan required just to get everything over with. sweatdrop
