Combat Outfit: Unki's initial choice of attire doesn't read "combat" but here goes: At the core of her outfit are matching, skin-tight shirt and pants featuring a black and purple swirling cloud pattern. She wears an off-white colored vest (akin to the design of Kumogakure) and an armored skirt with an assortment of layered, protective pieces. White sandals continue to be Unki's choice of shoes for the heat of battle. The vest features shoulder pads. A cape-like accessory is featured under the vest with a set of long, purple-ish blue decorative sleeves. More cloud motifs are suggested in the design of the sleeve-cape accessory. The sleeves serve no function and just make a brisk fluttering sound when waved wildly, say, she's spinning. On her head is some abridged variation of her imperial headdress: a brass coin-like hair accessory, paying homage to the Amano family crest, and a pastel assortment of colored clouds.
Non-combat Outfit A long, calf length cotton dress featured either in a dark blue or mauve color with minor, golden colored embroidery work along the lower lining. A white collar and long, thin multi-layered sleeves. In a more casual appearance any hair accessories could vary from just a cloud inspired barrette and the Amano celestial sun, or even her shell hair accessory! History:Unki Amano grew up in the Land of Lightning in a coastal village located quite a ways away from the country's Hidden Village. Her childhood home is a small fishing village near the southern borders known as Aya. Unki’s humble origins are rooted in coarse beach sands, salt, and fish scales beside her civilian parents. Together, Unki and her parents lived in a cozy, floating house anchored dockside beside their civilian neighbors. The family was impoverished, but happy in occupation and their tight-knit community. A normal life with things a growing Unki saw as mundane and fishy. There was nothing exciting except tumultuous weather and occasional visits from family. This absence of flair and excitement plagued Unki in her downtime the older she got. She always wondered what else the world had in store for her beyond salty shores. She knew her ancestors had gotten to see the wide world. The young Unki wanted to see the world too and occasional visits to see extended family in the Hidden Cloud were never enough.
The village of Aya just wasn’t exciting enough and it turned out that Unki wasn’t the only child in the village who felt that way. Unki was one of numerous children who had responsibilities in Aya that were tied to the seasons, land, or sea and were also looking for something fun to shake up the monotony. Some children, although considered rebellious, would experiment with chakra (and pretend to be ninja) had managed to inspire Unki. She couldn’t join in on the rebellious behavior but instead dreamt of the dangers they pretended to face. The other kids made being a ninja sound exciting. Romantic, even.
It all seemed like a dream. Unki's father, Masanaga, wouldn’t dare let his only child wander away into dangerous territory and stray from the plans he was building for her. Odds were, she feared, Masanaga was betting on a future that would take away Unki’s freedom in exchange for static security and more unwanted responsibility and all of it kept her in Aya! In time, Unki’s reply to her father’s plan inadvertently came to her in a fit of anger. Fiery anger. Hell hath no fury like a teenage girl made of scorching heat. And where Masanaga lost a week’s worth of fish he gained a newfound fear of something absolutely terrifying within his beloved daughter. At the age of fifteen, Unki earned herself a straight path to live with her extended family in the Hidden Cloud. She unbound herself from some boring fate where she might have been married off to a fish monger’s son or a workaholic farmer. Unki couldn't have been happier.

The appearance of this technique may be adjusted: simple overflow, fanciful clouds, or an illusion of armor. 1. In all forms, this coat wafts off the body to stimulate an aura that serves offensive and defensive purposes against liquid and organic-based creations. It can burn up creations that are already lesser in rank within 10 feet (per rank, maximum of 60 feet at S+ rank) of Unki's person. Completely desiccating or evaporating creations at lower ranks ( E - B ranks) while stimulating a dry climate that inflicts [tiered Dehydration] and [Tier 2 Burning]. 2. This armor augments Unki's Tai/Buki while active, treating Simple techniques as Complex (cost & effect) and allowing all Buki/Tai to apply Tiered Dehydration 3. These creations trickle off her illuminated body as small specks that accumulate into larger spheres. Maximum of 10 which detonate collectively in one blast but may travel within her line of sight. Blindness status is applied with explosions like a grand firework but fleeting like a photographer's flash bulb. Each blast generates a concussive force for a tier of trauma. A concussive blast throws targets an additional ten feet per rank.

The launch formation is under Unki's control. The orbs may all burst outward into multiple directions or all center in on a select span of space. Each sphere will radiate warmth, hot to the touch, and typically vary in size without concern for the scaling of power: Creations could be anywhere from 5 ft to 10ft in diameter. The amount of creations also vary but do correlate to the scale of power used to initiate the technique. B-A ranks may create a total of [20] spheres or fewer. Likewise, a total of [40] may be managed at S and S+ ranks. Contact with these creations will cause a Tier of Dehydration either Tier 3 or Tier 4 strenght and Tier 2 Burned status. She may form balloon-like shakuton creations at her hip. This technique gives Unki the ability to temporarily fly. Use of a fan or fans may help her steer and maneuver herself about in place of flapping her arms. Use of a fan will also help her speed up or slow down if need be. To land, the hot air just has to be let out of her balloon-like creations until each completely depleting. External forces can pop her balloons. Applies Dehydration at T2 ONLY if balloons are popped by nearby external forces: maximum range of a thirty foot area total. Three balloons would have a 10 foot range each.

This technique does not inflict dehydration but does function as an overwhelming defense when interacting with other techniques.
▰[Variable Reward] Spinning Shield of Winds [ Kaze no Bouseki Tate ] Wind Release | Rank X The user expels chakra from their hands, using their fuuton element to create a spinning shield. Instead of deflecting attacks, the shield reflects whatever was thrown at it back toward the enemy at the same speed it was fired. Only works on projectiles and ninjutsu of S-Rank and under. Last for three posts before the user must pay two ranks below activation as an upkeep.
▰[Variable Reward] Jutsu [ ▰ Flash Fan Technique [ Hoteri Ougigata no Jutsu ] | Rank X| Ozy Day 2022 The user inhales deeply, forming hand signs and ending the string by brining their fingers to their mouth. Exhaling, the expel a funnel of flames that expand out in a cone shape and spreading up to twenty feet. The flames dissipate quickly, leaving tiered burns to those contact is made with. If the user is in possession of a fan, they may korabo this technique with a Basic Combat Skill with the fan and expand the flame's range and potency, reaching sixty feet. If used at ranks higher than B-rank, the funnel of flames' range and potency spread up to one hundred feet. Potency and range exceeds to a maximum of 200 feet at S-rank.

Upon completion the sky above them darkens as a forty foot black cloud forms that rains down lightning, striking at all persons, including the user within the area of effect. These lightning bolts negate all agility bonuses of their target for the following post if successful and cause tier three paralysis on the target's entire body, causing tier one burns on the point of contact. When used at A-rank or S-rank this ability may cause tier three paralysis and tier two burns. At S+ rank use this ability applies tier three paralysis and tier three burns. This technique requires remains active for four posts before requiring an upkeep of ten chakra per post. However, if this technique is used at S+ rank, the technique remains active for four of Unki's posts but will require a 3 post cooldown.

As a youngster, Unki was rambunctious and excessively fond of the ocean. Her favorite part was being able to live on the ocean in a floating house. Unki's childhood home is a modest, floating fixture with four modest rooms nestled together housing a family of Amano three: Masanaga, Yuko, and little Unki. Their home is tethered to a wide, long boardwalk serving as a street somewhere within the bustling fisher's quarter of Aya. tab Unki actually grew up impoverished. At the very least, this little girl was fortunately enough to actually have a roof over her head, shoes, clothing, a warm hearth burning throughout the day, and food. Her father, Masanaga, was generally fishing out at sea or home weaving nets and baskets of the like, and generally scraping by with the drive to make the most he could for his Wife and daughter. Fishing was and remains to be where Masanaga's heart feels most at ease and he encouraged the same for his little girl. Unki, however, didn't just want to plainly fish. She was a little diver in training. Unki was but one of the many girls in an organized fleet of divers and divers in-training to learn their living and make Aya proud with its honored tradition. But of her mother? Yuko was not a diver. Yuko spent Unki's childhood as a recovering insomniac who held the house together with her assortment of skills to rake in a wage and is credited as the source of Unki's cooking know-how. tab Why, there are days where a little Unki may be left to her own devices at home to mind a stew on the fire while Yuko and Masanaga were working to keep their life afloat. Unki, fortunately, was a very cautious child when it came to fire and cooking indoors. No accidental, structural burning can be reported. What did Unki and Yuko cook? Vegetables mostly, since Aya was typically very bountiful and vegetables and fruit were generally low in cost (when not freely given to the Amano family). Fish was plenty in the Amano household too. What Masanaga could spare from the day's catch or managed to haul in from a personal trap was always put to use if the catch was big enough. The little Unki too could provide for their house with found clams, oysters, crab, and eventually captured sea-life from her diving endeavors. ... to be continued
tab tab "Day One" and the beginning of her adventure tab"Heavenly - Heat" tabtab❖ Village Hidden in the Clouds - Kumogakure tab Finally after five years of hard work Unki was becoming an official ninja, likewise, she was given a quick taste of how flip-flop the world could be with the addition of new responsibilities. In terms of her ability, Unki felt herself to be the "odd one" out. Her bloodline was a rarity to her knowledge and that of her home village of Aya. She was twenty years old.
Her first meeting with the Raikage, at the time, was brief and Unki's was riddled with worry in the face of inexperience. What turned out to be the only words of wisdom passed to her from Kaileer, the young kage was that her inexperience will be replaced by experience to come. Her next steps into learning more about herself took place at the academy where Unki would meet the first helpful hand who would initially offer himself up to her heat in spar. Her first spar with Tosokurui, the monochromatic squid ally. The fight would serve itself to be a starting point to motivate Unki to find improvement ( and the last solid memory before her spar quickly evolved into something very confusing which tossed Unki's consciousness around miscellaneous spots around the village). Soon, she slowly met one ally after the other: Shiro, the nonchalant so-and-so who took a shining to Unki as a new friend sooner than anticipated. tab
Unki soon took part in the chunin exams with many. From a muggy fishing village to a just about blissful on a island that had her feeling as if were at home. However, the warm tropic bliss was ruined during a match when the UHV unleashed a cold spell about the forest she and a few of her fellow competitors were in. The hazardous event ended swimmingly when Unki and the competitors all managed to escape to the mainland. When the kumogakure ninja returned to the Land of Lightning, each competitor ranked up in someway, whether Unki felt ready for her own sake or not. She felt so small to the words of the new kage, Thanatos, and was firmly ready to remain genin despite his will. Unki became a chunin. tab Her first deed as a chunin, a leader, came not too long after when Thanatos's quick reign ended with his successor being named so very soon, Shiro. The newest Raikage answered Tosokurui's request to transport his visiting family back to the island nation of Endaishima with Unki as lead of a small cell. Five Years - Onward and history in Revolution tabtab❖ The Cloud and The Storm tab What exactly unfolded for Unki beyond the Seizan Incident is obscured and scarcely known. Beyond becoming significantly close to Shiro Chosokabe after the Seizan incident, Unki's private life is widely a mystery with the exception of a small circle of people. Many of her fellow shinobi adhered to Shiro's order of traveling to the Storm and serve the empire from the new village. With so few of the previous crowd remaining in the Cloud it's safe to say that many may not be certain if Unki still goes by "Amano Unki" or something else. Did she marry? Was there a wedding? All that's certain now is that Unki spent the previous five years in the company of Emperor Shiro until she found herself feeling out of sorts. Something about her was missing but just what was difficult to say and she ventured to the Hidden Storm as a Capital representative, an envoy, to keep tabs on a village that politics swayed her from meddling with.
After the first year of the Empire existence, Shiro sprang a spontaneous marriage proposal on his live-in girlfriend whose presence had since been stirring delightful rumors about his new palace. His own amorous request was a long awaited reply onto one unspoken responsibility Shiro had with a need to land a strategic marriage. Unki accepted and Shiro secured the love of someone he came to deeply care for and potential to replicate a rare, formidable power in any heir to come. Prior to becoming Empress, Unki made her desires clear that she sought to be "apolitical" and leave the nitty-gritty details of political dealings to her charismatic beloved. Unki, meanwhile, gave her all to bettering Kumoito, the country, and offering her assistance to improve the wellbeing of villages across the entire empire. The struggles of growing up impoverished was still fresh on her own shoulders and the very thought of standing idly by was, frankly, unacceptable for the most power woman in the empire to leave unanswered. Five years of "saving the world" and giving her all to make everyone happy apparently could only sustain her for so long.
Nonetheless, Unki eventually found reason to venture out to the Hidden Storm during the command of the Twin Storm shadows as an ambassador representing her own body of power. The hidden storm was, at such time, an extension of the Lightning Empire's military. The Storm was expected to govern and generally take care of itself within the Empire. The village agreeably the Empire's central hub for the development of special forces. It was likely however, Unki's standing among said village was probably much lower than what it should have been, compared to what titles her Shiro held high in the world. She didn't nor could rival anything the storm shadows desired and her place in politics was low on the proverbial totem pole.
> Her attempt to assist the village - house burning- training new faces - assisting Toso's restaurant admit an on-going crisis - then Shiro's appearance! But Shiro's appearance didn't necessarily bring good things. The Hidden Storm village had split, dramatically, from the Lightning Empire despite Shiro's preferences. His presence was attempt to provide counsel against the movement but ultimately chose to provide his support to the new storm shadow, his friend, Toso! >Shiro's presence also came with one detail which Unki wasn't aware of until it was nearly too late: war.
> On Shiro's figurative game of chess, Unki is championed like a Queen piece and used to display her leadership ability to strengthen his own in the threat of war against rogue forces. However, her leadership was forced in play. She went alone with small fleet, spread thin, to address several locations in peril against the Kogarashi.
> Then peace. Forces outside of Unki's reach solidified the finish after her own had suffered. What was ahead of the Empire and Unki was a lengthy recovery. This recovery came with a change of residence to the Hidden Storm. At the beginning of her journey, it wasn't long before Unki would find its events considerably hectic compared to the cloud. Now more than ever does the Hidden Storm feel chaotic but exciting. Too exciting. If not for her reluctance to leave Shiro behind again Unki would have been jumping off the floating rock back on the village's first out of place visit for supplies. It was going to be a long, five years of guessing games of where the sun was going to come up and trying to convince a whole village to acknowledge someone they don't have to answer to anymore.

|Overly Zealous Jealousy - Inner Yandere| On the rare instance Unki's heart at last went a flutter, her first response was to take a knife to the throat of whom it was her heart began to pound for. It may have been interpreted as insanity or an intense zeal against voyeurism but it unknowingly stood tried and true as jealousy. A special sort of jealousy that sprung from the new found fear that her interest in a certain other would all go to waste. A possessive threat that promised bodily harm was, for a time, her first instinct. But love's sweet song has quelled the most of her, potentially destructive, possessive behavior and the likelihood of shouting threats in her lover's ear have shrunk to an infrequent "once in a blue moon" basis. But Unki's soured sweet nothings are only granted when she feels her lover's eyes have wandered, even if harmlessly, onto dangerous territory: other young women.

Tier Kyūden | 80000 A kyuden is a feudal palace, of massive scale and fortification. Kyuden are rare in the countries, and there is only one kyuden per district, which may only be purchased by one Shokō. Shokō are akin to feudal princes, and are the de facto community leaders within their respective districts, whether or not this status has been sanctioned by the daimyo. These buildings typically hold over a few dozen rooms with chefs, maids, laborers and even soldiers within, as well as large yards, and often even entire forests or mountains encompassed by their individual territory.
The benefit of possessing a kyuden is that the owner of the palace may create a second thread that will essentially mirror a village thread, as they own their own town. This thread can be a market, a hot springs, etc... and follows the same rules as a home in that the owner of this thread can use this to RP separately from even their residence. Additionally, lore-wise, the Shokō ruling this residence is given high prestige and may use this residence as the enclave of a faction - if approved by the Kage. Rogues must request crew approval.

⚡ || Aya Village
Aya village has quietly sat along the southern coast of the Lightning, on the southern most tip along Haran Bay in a peaceful, monotonous lull to its residence for what feels like an eternity. A fishing village that has supplied and sold its catch and goods to the in-land villages and survived content doing such since inception. The village is sprawling with floating homes, private and commercial boats, a renovated harbor, and residences and business sprawling along the streets going inland to the farmlands. This village has seen its share of natural destruction and rebuilds of the years. tab Its initial exports to the in-land villages have and continue to be fish, agricultural goods, fishing equipment, artisan crafts, handmade jewelry, and medicine made from wild and farm-raised prized pearls and natural goods. tab Within the last ten years, however, Aya has grown to a valuable slice of coastal paradise to tourists where the fishing village charm has become its alluring gimmick to attract its guests and wealth. Tourism has been added to its trade and the village has generally been serviced well by it. Not a bad vacation spot for some sea air. The beaches and scenic boating might make visitors wonder why they haven't heard of Aya twenty years ago! Presently, the village remains a favorite project of the Lighting Empress and she quietly promotes this village's prosperity while doing her best to preserve the delicate environment she feels very familiar with. A new, mysterious lighthouse sits on the outskirts of the village which can be seen on the road, miles before one's arrival.
•Benefits: Pharmaceutical studies and crafting within Aya reduces the process by [1/4] a post at the Chosokabe School of Medicine. tabThe story goes they slapped The Emperor's name on the building after he made a very special purchase from the village's chieftess who forwarded the profit toward growing the village's production of medicine.
•Wonders: Shrine to Kannon, The Goddess of Mercy: Overlooking the village, a shrine is tended to daily to honor the benevolent deity who is revered widely in Aya. As a being whose reverence is non-denominational, the devout may come to pray and perform tasks of Observance among other Religious duties. The villagers only ask that the shrine and statue of Kannon be treated respectfully by its guests.
Haran Bay Reef: This segment of Haran Bay has a thriving coral reef one can get a glimpse of underwater. Snorkeling tours from the local lady divers or mermaids, when they're not working are offered in time with warm seasons. The reef is jam-packed with sea life!
•Detriments: Aggressive Female Population : A good deal of the adolescent and young female crowd are inherently plagued with a sense of superiority over the budding young men in the village. This village-wide quirk might be an unexpected result of the Matriarchal leaders' influence but this way of thinking among the town is arguably becoming a rite of passage for growing children of Aya nearing marriage age. This "rite of passage" is actually prone to being enforced on unsuspecting male visitors and tourists alike. Keep in mind, male characters who encounter any unruly young lady of Aya should do everything possible to avoid engaging in combat with these erratic, culturally unique, female civilians.
A dice roll upon entering Aya for characters who identify as male can determine a safe or moderately interesting visit (Roll a 10-sided dice - the numbers 3, 5 and 9 will give away your character's masculine identity to the nearest gaggle of girls lurking in the shadows of Aya). Characters who may identify as female can roll a dice as well, however, as another feminine face in the crowd there's no telling how an Aya resident will react to you during your visit. ▰ Kaiser Armor Mastery | Rank S | Training The final stage of training for the Kaiser Armor. In addition to it's previous effects, the Kaiser armor now causes searing burns upon contact that blister due to the crackling chakra. Taijutsu and bukijutsu techniques used while this armor is active create shock waves five feet in the direction of the attack per rank of the technique.
