Kyrins can be a little more complicated than what they look like on the outside. Thankfully, we have a handy guide for those who may need it! Have a question we didn't answer! Awesome, we love answering your questions! PM the mule and we'll add a little about your request within this guide.

Kyrins are large equines with (typically) a long horn and sharp hooves. While most Kyrins do range in size, a normal Kyrin (lacking a specific breed or edit) typically is around the size of an Earth horse, although petite and larger Kryins have been found! Some breeds have different heights and weights.

Kyrins are fairly intelligent in nature and can learn and speak multiple languages, although the language typically shared amongst other Kyrins is English. They have the unique capability to produce a large array of sounds most equines and even humans can't achieve, although some strain on the throat is expected if one pushes too hard on their vocal cords. Kyrins excel at mimicking those around them and have a talent for observing and absorbing new information readily, making them incredibly adaptable.

Kyrins differ greatly from other equines as they can use Telekinesis to use various tools and objects since they lack the flexible front limbs that Doggos have. They can use modern technology (for the most part) and create various tools to help their lives. Befriending animals and training them to help with detail work is a good workaround for when their Telekinesis just can't get something done.

Their eyesight mimics that of a human, unfortunately, and thus those without a power related to enhanced vision have limited sight during nighttime.

Kyrin have a longer life than most equine and go through a unique cycle of their own.

Kyrins are usually created via crystalized eggs, and within a litter of up to six foals, although extremely rare cases have been heard of where a Kyrin is created through artificial or magical means.

For a standard Kyrin, reproduction is done sexually and thus two Kyrins of different sexes breed to try and make the female sexed Kryin pregnant who then lay eggs. Same-sex pairings (or those who wish to breed without intimate contact) have found magical means to reproduce as well.

Kyrin lay eggs shortly after breeding, where the egg hardens for two days until they reach a solid crystal-like egg. The egg hatches within two weeks, although stories have been told of babies getting stuck inside their egg because their horn didn't form in time. The egg and crystals often take colors and markings from the newborn, which helps identify it's an egg instead of an abstract and forgotten crystal.

    Foal Stage

As a foal Kyrin are rather helpless. While still needing some amount of supervision or they might go running into a random gate, they still tire easily and need to be educated about the world around them. Foals can be RPed anywhere from three weeks old to a year old, as foalhood lasts a year in character.

As a foal any naturally inherited or developed powers will be considerably weaker than their adult counterparts. As a foal ages their powers tend to grow stronger.

Once an adult, Kyrin can cause a lot of trouble if need be! Armed with sharp hooves and a horn, Kyrins usually can defend themselves fairly well once they've matured. They're about the size of an average Earth horse and are one of the most intelligent species within Labyrinth. They can create, build, explore, and more. Kyrins have a fairly long life span, as they age slowly due to the amount of magic within them. A healthy Kyrin can reach around a century (100 years) before passing naturally. There are ways to extend a Kyrins life, although they haven't been discovered yet!

Kyrin age slowly once they reach adult stage. They can live to about a century old if there isn't any divine intervention that extends their life. Kyrins can get sick, die in battle, die of old age, and perish in many other ways, just like any animal. When a Kyrin dies the magic they contain is absorbed back into Labyrinth and reused in whatever way the world sees fit.

Kyrin are omnivores, meaning they can sustain themselves off meat and vegetation. Typically a Kyrin prefers vegetation, but there are some Kyrin who disagree and are content as carnivores! Some breeds even get sick if they eat certain things, so keep an eye out for that!
