Liyana was pleased that Avani's chicks were happy and healthy, most of which had been paired off to a cub within the pride. Avani wasn't sure if she'd ever see the other vulture again but she hoped she might.
Little did she know that today she would.
"Did you hear Avani, a lioness joined recently with a vulture. So perhaps we'll have some patrol buddies." Avani ruffled her feathers, preening her wing tips. "That would be nice." The brown female said looking at her lion companion.
Turning her beaked head she spotted a pair moving in the distance and puffed up a little. "Perhaps that's them?"
Liyana glanced the way Avani was looking and smiled, "Perhaps it is. Let's go see."
