Even with the worries of the outside world, the council's panics of an attack and everything else that hung over the Pridelands like a somber fog;
The cubs didn't give two flicks of a tail!
Two especially that rested near the base of priderock in the nice cool shade.
Asubuhi was the first born in her litter and she felt it half the time with how her youngest sibling, Alfajiri, acted sometimes. She was currently trying to catch some semblance of a nap as he was trying to play eye-spy. But his eldest sister wasn't having any of it as she rested a paw over her eyes and tried to block him out the best she could.
"I spy~"
"Alfa."
"With my little eeeeye~"
"Please."
"Something....green!"
She raised a paw and glared at the golden cub. "Is it the grass?"
There was a healthy pause of silence before he raised a paw and looked around again. "Okay wait, I got it this time, I spy-"
"Ugggghhhhh."
