Physical Description:
Described as a ravishing beauty by some, a devil in suede by others, and the wrath of teenage hormones by her mother ... Khae is (by most, but not all, estimates) a lovely girl. Her dark eyes flash readily - unsubtle mirrors of her unspoken thoughts - and often reflect her ever present ambition. Her skin is a deep ebony and is as smooth as the still waters of an alpine lake. She tends to keep her coiled hair cut short, but she's also been known to grow it out and fashion elaborate braids.
Personality:
It is important to realize, right away, that Khae is Going Places, with or without you. The world is not enough for this daughter of the wild country - and it can be reasonably assumed that the nearby solar systems won't be either. She possesses enough ambition and drive in her slender frame to power five Lord Holders, and she is not in the least bit afraid to flex her sharp wit, sharper tongue, or travel-honed reflexes to put you - plebeian - back in your place. Her arrogance is almost insufferable, but the worst offenses can be explained away as the foibles of youth, right? Right.
She does not suffer fools, period, and she won't suffer mild infractions either. While she does not adhere to strict (see: traditional) bounds of hierarchy, she knows where her place is. That is; right on top, with everyone else arrayed beneath her. She rightfully scares the tar out of most adults, given her inherited wealth, trader tongue, and general good business sense. She knows what she's got, what it is worth, and she knows what you are likely to pay for it. On the flip side, where her mother (who she strongly takes after) is a calmer, cooler bargain driver - Khae appears to like a little chaos thrown in for spice.
In what little down time Khae allows for herself, she enjoys quietly reading. Her mothers collection has provided her ample material to absorb, and she has been heard to say that her best friends are found spiral or leather bound. A surprising hobby for one otherwise so outwardly extroverted and explosively domineering - but everyone needs a time to recharge!

History:
Born in Ruatha to a wealthy trader and one of her many trysts, Khae was raised on the road. Early on she learned how to evaluate product, haggle and then stand her ground when she meant it - and her personality was surely shaped by this early exposure. She traveled with her mother all across the North, then across the sea on a beautiful ship (the first of many) that her mother purchased with her earnings. Briefly she toyed with the notion of apprenticing to a seacrafter, but she was young and in love with the idea of freedom - and her mother had many adventures in store for her yet.
Together (with her mother's trading network) they criss-crossed the South and met with many new groups of people along the way. Her mother, Khadine, made trading agreements as they went, picking up merchandise and selling or bartering others. At her hip, then her heel, ---

Decided to annoy her mother and Do Her Own Thing; got herself Searched for Western Weyr.
Ran into a business partner of her mother's at the Weyr ... wrote her mother an apology note for running off. It was not believed. Told to try again with some cuss words. Thus, the most colorful teenaged apology note ever penned was delivered via flit to 'Lady' Khadine of the Southern Continent. Suitably impressed, Khae's candidacy was now fully endorsed (and supported) by her powerful mother.

Physical Description:
Largely easy to miss in a dense jungle environment, Vilyath is a dark, forest green with softer moss green freckles that tend to mimic filtered light on a forest floor. Still, she's huge for a green and has all the staying power of a medium sized blue.
Personality:
Sharp, that is the best way to describe Vilyath. Sharp of mind, sharp of wit, sharp of tongue. She doesn't pull punches and expects nothing less of anyone else. She fully expects to be acknowledged when she enters a gathering, and will absolutely shift all available attention to herself when given the opportunity. Luckily for Khae, she is also fiercely loyal to her rider and her chosen retinue of followers - and will brave fire, fall and flood for any of Hers.
