The couple walked side by side through the peaceful lands they called home and the white female leaned into her lavender colored mate.
Red gaze danced as her pale limbs carried her silently through the Mwezi'Johari and she couldn't help but look over at her life long companion and give him a warm smile. "It's a beautiful evening tonight isn't it?"
The darker colored lion shifted his green gaze towards his lighter companion and gave a nod of his head. "That it is. Perhaps we will have some company as well, aside from ourselves that is." While he very much enjoyed spending time with his family, they also enjoyed meeting the other members in their homeland.
It was still early enough the sun was out, but it was late enough that the stars would be in the sky before long, the two were considered night owls and spent much of their time walking along at night. To some it could be strange but it was just how they'd always been.
