His shoulders have broadened out with age, and while not large in stature, is strong enough.

His eyes are large, his mouth small, and often pursed in either a judgmental frown, or a smug smirk. He keeps his hair cut stylishly, and knows he is a boy many individuals find attractive. And why shouldn't they? He is of a fine breed, and ensures that he's always looking his best, no matter the situation. He's a young man with class, thank you, and he very well knows it!

There is a better-than-thou attitude about Kaladren, and it seems to ooze about him.

History: Young Kaladren was born and bred in Nabol Hold to the upper crust of society. His father, Ladrel, was a successful Overseer at some of Gansley's finest mines, and his mother, Kalla, the rich daughter of an old-blood Bitran Holder. The two of them were a match made by Faranth... or at least a match made by marks. For Kalla, the handsome overseer had security, connections, and suitable wealth inside Nabol; for Ladrel, his bride was wealthy, pretty, and her rank (no matter how slight) would boost his own. His children might, in turn, be married off to higher raking individuals, so for a man who once came from nothing, Kalla was quite appealing.

Upon marriage, the pair settled into a comfortable, if not happy, life. There were many transgressions, many fights, and Kalla and Ladrel had discreet affairs on both sides--but they also had children, and an understanding that this was as good as it would get. They kept face in public, and used one another for their own benefit. Maybe it wasn't a match made by E'ros, but it served their needs.

Kaladren was one of their brood.

Growing up in Nabol, Kaladren learned to play the game from an early age. His family had money, wealth, and power, and he knew well that he was important. Poverty was never an issue, and he heard all about how lucky they were to have been born in the most-wonderful-place-on-Pern. Certainly, he well knew about those who worked in Gansley's mines--his father talked about them regularly--but Kaladren understood that his family was different.

They weren't like those others who were criminal, unreliable, and otherwise deserving to be there.
