Manipi grinned broadly, this was his first tournament, he had considered entering for a few years but he just hadn’t found the time to do it, that was an excuse really he’d never really felt like doing it.

This year though he’d decided it was time to give it a go. He could hear a voice in the crowed that had gathered for the festivities and he chuckled quietly. His hare companion was calling out to him and that made him smile. He would do his best.

Tipping his head the dark brown male took a few steps forward sizing up his opinant, he was like a lot of ela’wadiyi on the smaller side of life but he knew mostly how to rough house and usually, he could do anything he set his mind to. He had set his mind to this and he was ready to brawl. “Good luck to you friend.” He smiled bracing himself for his first move.

Despite the cheering from the sidelines, Manipi felt a little nervous about what he was here for it was with this on his mind that he made his first move, and faltered.

Diving past the paper Male he landed carefull and turned to face the other Male again. He had to make up for this little slip, he hoped.

The small male felt the tap and braced himself for another charge, bolting forward the tattooed male struck as hard as he could.

This was certainly a rush, he had never really wanted to enter before but he certainly understood why others would enjoy joining the fight every year. Maybe he would come every year from now on. It was certainly a fun challenge.

It seemed that Lady Luck wasn’t with him today as the other landed another hit on him. As fun as this was, he could tell he would have a few bruises in the morning. His head was starting to hurt, perhaps it was from the adrenaline running through his body or maybe from the hits landed but he could feel himself flagging.

Maybe this was not his year, it was his first time entering after all he could probably bow out gracefully and nurse his headache.

Manipi smiled appreciatively at the other male. This wasn’t his year but that wouldn’t stop him from trying again next year. “Good luck to you my friend, I hope you do well.” The dark male bowed his head before trotting off in to the crowd, collecting his hare friend on the way.

It didn’t feel bad to fail, it was nice to try and maybe next time he would do better.
