It sounded so disgusting, so immature and naive and childish to say that his body couldn't wait anymore for S'del to touch him, to hold him, but that was all A'ye was thinking. From the moment they both shared their feelings on the dance floor, to him pulling S'del away from eyes to where it could just be them and their emotions and concerns and. None of it mattered, not really, he simply wanted S'del.
He needed to feel him, to touch and taste and be held by him in ways they'd done before, so many times before. It would be different though without the haze of a flight coloring everything and that single thought was what was keeping A'ye somewhat grounded. Without the haze would the passion be as intense, would the need be as strong?
It would be from his side and he screamed at himself for even considering doubting that it wouldn't be from S'del. The man had said he wanted to be with him, but that hadn't meant he said he loved him but honestly? Honestly? A'ye didn't need those words right now. All he needed with S'del holding him, crying his name into his flesh and whispering over and over. He just needed to wake up in his arms and Faranth he wanted it right now.
The greenrider had pulled the bronzerider along with no destination in mind, just a single minded thought he wanted him all to himself in a selfish wish that would never happen again. As long as S'del was his, that was all he'd ever need for the rest of his life. Stopping to turn to look at the man, A'ye opened his mouth. "S'del.....please."

One moment they were on the dance floor, the next they were kissing, and now...? Now any thought of a Hatching Feast was the last thing on this mind. Right now, all S'del could think about was kissing the others lips, holding him close, and just... loving the other man. This wasn't driven by a dragonflight, and that made it all the more sweet. There was no more questioning, was no more uncertainty on where they stood. He was certain A'ye wanted him just as badly as he craved him.
So, they were alone, stumbling along, somewhere, anywhere. Thankfully, S'del had enough sense to ensure they were going somewhere private--and did try to at least guide them back to his weyr. It wasn't terribly far, and wouldn't require Kindeth to get them to it. Somehow--miraculously--he did eventually make it to his familiar stoop. "A'ye...Stay with me?" His words were rough from desire. Instead, he pulled the other back into his arms, and silenced them both with another kiss.
They'd figure out the particulars later. Right now... Right now he knew what they both ached for and needed.
houllow Paaaaainting this a very dark black. / S'del was going to make sure they at least made it back to his place since it was probably closer.... Uh. Yeah. xD Ta-da!

For the first time in a long time, or perhaps the first time ever, when A'ye woke up there was no sense of fear or urgency. No need to check his surroundings and wonder if he was in a place he'd need to leave at the drop of a hat. The greenrider had spent much time in this bed to the point it was safe to call it familiar, but this was almost a new experience for him. Waking up and not looking for his clothes in a hurry, not seeing the spot next to him empty and thinking he'd overstayed his welcome.
"Hnnnn." Softly he groaned as he moved to sit up, his arms stretching overhead as he glanced up towards the ceiling. All the events that lead up to this he could remember and again for the first time, he didn't feel ashamed of any of them. The need, the want, the fumbling around over feelings in both the light and the dark. None of it brought the usual red to his cheeks or his bare shoulders; instead A'ye simply smiled over at S'del and basked in the warmth of knowing he'd finally found what he wanted. A snort interrupted his thoughts and the rider turned to find the source.
Oyath rumbled from where she'd come to land on Kindeth's ledge, the darker green curled into a rather tiny ball. The dragon had often spread herself as much as she could in claiming what wasn't hers, but now she seemed almost too timid and afraid. You're gross. Her words were stinging with affection, as per the usual, though there was something else there. Fear? Loss?
I'm happy.

There was movement, stirring, and a draft of cooler air as A'ye stirred and sat up beside him. It was enough to cause S'del to stir as well, sleep drifting away from him, while memories of the night quickly took their place. The brown-haired man couldn't help but smile, even as he looked over at the figure next to him. "Good morning, beautiful," he greeted, words a bit rough from the hour and lack of use. "You sleep all right?" He asked, snaking an arm over so he might loosely wrap around A'ye's waist.
He didn't want the other to go, if that was his plan. He also just wanted another excuse to touch him, and to make sure that this wasn't some vivid dream.
Honestly, he couldn't believe his luck. There were no regrets on his side, no worries that either one would need to hurry away, as the excuse of dragonlust had faded. No. He wanted A'ye--and that was something they both now knew. He felt relief knowing that the other seemed to want him too; that maybe, they could be together without having to wait for a Flight.
Kindeth, for his part, had kept ample room for Oyath after he returned from cuddles with Silmarith. The large bronze was pleased for his rider, but he was a bit concerned for Oyath. She seemed to be curled up tight and distant. The bronze sent a cheerful little thrum her way in greeting, but also was prepared to fly off if she got irritable with him. He didn't want to cause her more upset by hanging around if he was unwanted--even if it was his weyrledge.

Kindeth hesitated just a moment, unsure if this was some trap, or if Oyath might change her mind as soon as he drew near, but if closeness was what she desired, than closeness is what he would give. Slowly, carefully, he drew nearer to the curled up green. He was wary of the colors within her eyes, but he rumbled gently in greeting at her all the same. Settling down next to her, he lifted a wing and carefully tucked it partially over the much-smaller green-- a peace-offering of sorts. He would, of course, immediately remove it should she give any sign of displeasure, but the large bronze only wanted to be helpful.
S’del, for his part, was glad to find A’ye still there, well within his arms. “We made quite a night of it, didn’t we?” He agreed, unable to believe that they were there, together. He automatically tightened his hold on the other, leaning forward so he might plant a gentle kiss against the others skin. What else would he say? Could he say? He didn’t want to disturb the moment, didn’t want A’ye to think they needed to leave their bed. “But I’m glad you’re here. Can I get you anything? Breakfast? Clothes? … another go of it?” Eh, he couldn’t help himself. How could someone resist A’ye, especially when he was already in his arms and in his bed?
