Or sort of? Not sure yet. I'm a Student Assistant to my school's Global Leadership Advancement Center. Part-time, ofc, no benefits. But eh, better than nothing. Hopefully I like it. Had to get something else quick though since my previous boss couldn't set aside her personal feelings toward me (aka she hated my guts) and decided to fire me (right before Christmas, yay) even though I was one of the highest performers on the team. stare

I demoted myself at work, cuz I hated how moody my boss was... sad thing was, my boss is a male. I also hated my employees, and how management wouldn’t back me up when I had corrective actions against my employees who kept ******** up. Ya know, retention rates. They’d rather have shitty employees than high turnaround.
So I left a management position in operations, and joined the sales team. It was a lateral “promotion,” so I kept my office, and kept my pay.

I went in for my "first day" today and worked for about eight hours. Time just kind of went by so I reckon it'll be alright. I know that feeling. I've encountered it myself when working at the assisted living (where I'm the Front Desk Receptionist). It can be nice sometimes when you're not really in the mood to work. sweatdrop

Posting from the desk job right now on my lunch break.
A couple months later and I can attest, yup, it's meh.
Good thing I have my foot in the door on a summer internship (or maybe two...) ninja
