Happy Star Wars Day!

Doing anything special to celebrate the occasion?

I'm showing two Star Wars movies today for the residents - The Phantom Menace and Rogue One - and will be making popcorn in the afternoon. And I'm wearing my "Battle Dress" Queen Amidala cosplay (technically it's Sabe wearing it - the black & red outfit seen below; though I don't have the hair headpiece made yet).

I'm curious why you settled on Phantom Menace and Rogue One as your two movies of choice for the evening.

Nothing for me tonight, but for the near future, I downloaded despecialized editions of the original trilogy. Painstakingly-crafted fan-edited versions to match the original theatrical releases as closely as possible. It'll be like watching the VHS tapes I had as a kid, except I won't need to find a VCR. Or the tapes.

I'm curious why you settled on Phantom Menace and Rogue One as your two movies of choice for the evening.

They're the only ones I own at this time. whee

I've had the movies throughout the day - one I started at 10 AM, the other at 2 PM. Working around our residents' meal times and main medication passes ((guess I forgot to mention in my original post I work at an assisted living)).
