Conditions and Capabilities:
His peculiarity involves much preparation before he can depend on a creature to support him. First, he has to learn about the creature before he can create it and pull it out of his own mind. Then must tame and befriend it before he can trust it to help without something going awry. The stronger the bond the more loyal the creature. Certain creatures are easier to tame than others. It depends on their overall greatness, power, and personality.
He houses them in charms. While in their homes, the mythical beings can bond with the person if they have the creatures charm on them. The beasts can also feel how the wearer is doing: physically and emotionally. In some cases, this might affect how they act. If someone with bad morals trains them then they are less likely to care about humans--for instance. It also means negative emotions constantly coming from the wearer will affect the mythical beings in a similar way.
Typically speaking, the creatures only obey him. He can gift a mythical charm to someone though. The longer it stays with that person the more likely the person will be its priority if s**t hits the fan. It can appear when the owner is in dire trouble, but some conditions need to be met first. Not only does the longtime bond needs to be there, but Haruki has to have called it out himself the first time. Then the creature and charm wearer need to make one final connection.
Limitations:
- The charms have to be close enough for them to hear the call. Currently, that would be twenty feet.
- He can call on many lesser creatures of the same type but only two of a more powerful kind at the same time.
- It is more draining to switch the beasts out than to have one in particular deal with the issue.
- He can only keep out a greater creature for two minutes, maybe three if there is only one, if the mythical being is in a battle. This is assuming he is at peak energy.
Weakness:
- If he is knocked unconscious they might go out of control since there is enough of a connection to keep them there yet not enough to "control" them. This would definitely depend on loyalty and overall personality of the creature.

xxxxxxxxx█ He had a normal loving family. Two parents, an older sister and younger brother. Nothing terrible happened in his life until he was fifteen. That's when someone threatened him and he had to move away. Since then he's been on his own and finding his way to the streets of the city near LeVane. Not to long ago, he was reconnected with his childhood friend and ended up getting into the academy with some help.
As far as peculiarity goes, the first creature he brought into the world escaped him untamed. He hasn't ran into it since the fateful day. The only reason it probably hasn't been "spotted" is because it is in a smaller form since there isn't much of a bond. It can't do anything abnormal either. Having it out there has helped him in regards to energy useage since it constantly takes from him.

MYTHICAL CREATURES
Pets
These are creatures he doesn't use when in conflict.
Al-mi'raj - a rabbit with a single horn. It looks harmless but can be quite violent.
Name: Lowan----Bond: Great----Diet: easily animals twice its size
Hoo - a colorful bird who will only reveal itself if things are peaceful and prosperous even if he calls on it.
Name: Seeley----Bond: Good----Diet: bamboo seeds
Pegacorn - unicorn with wings. It is possible there is more to the beast, but he definitely never used it in such a way.
Name: Jun----Bond: Good----Diet: plants, hay, sometimes fish and birds
Tamed
Bakeneko - can shapeshift into the one they are bound to and speak whatever language the person can. Is immuned to poison.
Name: Fifer----Bond: Good----Diet: fish, birds, other small animals and occasionally humans
Weakness:
Carrying the charm around gives misfortune.
A temporary curse will be placed on the user after the creature completes its task.
Furi - is an extremely fast critter he had help him when he was in tight spots. The body won't burn and the skin can not be sliced.

Weakness:
Can only be called on at night.
It can be caught with a well-placed trap.
Can be killed from being struck.
Griffin - is hailed as the queen of beasts to some. Is the only one he can really call on for offense/defense.
Name: Lucia----Bond: Good----Diet: horses and in some cases human flesh
Weakness:
Although it has mythical elements to it, the animal can be hurt just like any other for the most part.
It can only heal if the beast is sent back into the charm.
Leviathan - is the king of the sea. Controller of the waves and all within. Its black blood is like poison acid and he can breath out a poison puff of air. Can be hurt but heals rapidly.

Weakness:
Can only be called on in larger bodies of water.
Not one to be controlled, it is likely not to listen.
Wisps - blue flaming lights which lead people to a certain place. Haruki can get them to lead him and others in the correct direction.
Name: Willans----Bond: Great----Diet: unknown (root of a special fern or souls)
Weakness:
They aren't the best to use when sneaking since anyone can probably see them.
If you touch them you will get severely burned without catching on fire.
Gifted
Phoenix - a bird (no bigger than a house) which coats itself in fire to protect itself even though it's quite durable and can regenerate. It is basically immortal since it can be reborn. The bird is more for protection than anything, but it will attack if needed. Its tears can cure anything it touches: human, plant or animal. It can even revive the person the creature is bound to if they just died.
Name: Phoebe----Bond: okay, because it is bonded with Yoshiro----Diet: sulfur
Weakness:
Water won't kill it, but it will weaken the bird quite a bit.
Big wounds will take longer to heal themselves.
The bird will not cry on its own for anyone else but who it bonds with.
It will be reborn as a baby and needs time to grow to its full form.
It will not be reborn if the bird revives someone as it is a sacrifice of sorts.
Not Tamed
Koma Inu - are noble guardians. They come in pairs. The female guards those living inside the place while the male guards the structure itself.

Weakness:
Has never tried to create them.
Nurikabe - is a painted wall with vague facelike features. It is a huge invisible wall which stretches as far as it can in all directions: up, down, left and right. One can see the average-sized portion of it almost as soon as the person is about to run into it. There is no way around or threw it (since it can't be destroyed).

Weakness:
There is a trick to making it vanish. One has to tap it near the ground all the way across (the visible part) with a stick.
He has never tried to create it.
Thunderbird - is a protector and enforcer which rules the skies. Dealing with the natural forces, they can sprinkle down refreshing drops of water or cause a drought. Ravage the area with violent storms and even spark fires by lightning. Usually it is merely a protector type, but its wrath is like no other. An intelligent being which tends to enforce morality.

Weakness:
This was one he created when he was a kid. Since he was inexperienced it came in the form of an egg. When it hatched it ended up flying away the first chance it got never to return. It might be the cause of unexplainable storms. The bird hasn't grown fully in size and potential. |
