There had been many changes in his life, none so much as the change of scenery. The world around he and his mate had grown hot, desolate, and dry. The lion, donning a black pelt, was feeling the heat on this particular day moreso than others. Tras groaned as he walked and found himself overwhelmed with an urge to lay down, but his mate was at his side - he couldn't stop where he was.

"Look ahead." He didn't raise a paw, didn't dare stop to point, but instead raised his chin towards a cluster of trees ahead of them. "We can get some shade there." Tras made one last pointed decision to remove his mortal guise in favor of his natural form. The god had one thing that his mate did not, wings. With the large feathered limbs now free from his mortal form he was able to lift them above his mate and offer portable shade, even if it didn't relieve much of the heat.

"We'll be far enough away from the greater population here." He offered some comfort. They hadn't had much time to be in their natural forms. It was painful at times and with what he had learned (some good and some intriguing, but not necessarily favorable) had burdened his thoughts more than he cared to admit. They were unwelcome, but welcome. Something he hadn't cared about before, but for the sake of Ati he had become aware of what outing their true selves could mean. Of course they had other opportunities for shelter, but this had become something of a home.

Tras looked to his mate, green eyes finding her blue pair, before he spoke. "How are your paws?" There wasn't much he could to take away any discomfort, but he genuinely wanted to know how she was.
