Pausing in the process of sweeping the floor of the dinning hall, Dascyana lifted her head up to look around, resting her arms on the handle of the broom. With the conclusion of Kleoth's flight there was an undercurrent of excitement in the weyr, especially the candidates. Another chance to stand upon the sands and wait for the hatchlings within to come out and find theirs. Even at the age of 25 Turns, Dascyana harbored the hope of finding a partner, not letting herself even begin to dwell upon what would happen should Impression never occur.

Letting blue eyes move over the dinning hall and the rest of the candidates that had been given the chore this day. Finding Sablie among them the blond moved over towards her friend, smiling softly as she started to sweep again as well as speaking.

Sablie was humming to herself as she worked on sweeping in the dining hall. She didn't exactly remember where she had heard the tune, but it didn't matter, it gave her something to sweep to. Her blonde braid was bouncing cheerily behind her, with some of the dirt sticking to her. She didn't mind, she thought it just showed she was doing a job well done. Her mind was on the excitement that had been Kleoth in flight recently. It meant eggs soon and eggs meant the chance to have a dragon bondmate. She knew she was getting older, but she also knew that she still had time. She thought of Lyf's beautiful green, she wanted a dragon as amazing. The blonde was so lost in her thoughts, she hadn't even realized Dascyana had approached. So she might had dropped her broom in surprise.

"Opps, guess I should have been paying attention. Of course I am excited, who wouldn't be? While the clutching hasn't happened yet, it is bound to happen before we know it. Communicating with the babies in their eggs is amazing,"she replied to her friend, picking the broom back up from the floor.
